NOTE Theandbuttons
turn on various functions depending on
the situation, as follows:
Adjusting the vehicle interior
lighting
- with the side lights on and standard
screen active, it is possible to adjust the
brightness inside the vehicle.
Setup menu
- within the menu, they allow you to
scroll up and down;
- during setting operations they allow
an increase or decrease.

TRIP COMPUTER
IN BRIEF
The Trip computer is used to display
information on vehicleoperation
when the ignition key is turned to
MAR. This function allows you to
define two separate trips, called "Trip
A" and "Trip B", for monitoring the
"complete mission" (journey) of
the vehicle in a reciprocally
independent manner. Both functions
can be reset (reset means start of
a new journey).
"Trip A" can be used to display the
values relating to:
Outside Temperature
Range
Distance travelled A
Average consumption A
Instant consumption
Average speed A
Trip time A (driving time)
Reset Trip A
"Trip B", available on multifunction
display only, is used to display
the values relating to:

redSEAT BELTS REMINDER
(for versions/markets, where provided)
The warning light switches on constantly with the
vehicle stationary and the driver’s seat belt not
fastened.
The warning light flashes and a buzzer will sound if the
vehicle is in motion and the driver’s seat belt is not
correctly fastened.For permanent deactivation of the acoustic signal
(buzzer) of the S.B.R. (Seat Belt Reminder) system
contact a Fiat Dealership. With the multifunction
display, you can also reactivate the system through the
Setup menu.
“COMFORT-MATIC" GEARBOX FAILURE
When the key is turned to MAR, the warning light
switches on but it should switch off after a few
seconds.
The warning light in the panel comes on flashing
(together with a message in the reconfigurable
multifunction display and a buzzer) to indicate that the
gearbox is faulty.If the transmission is faulty, contact a Fiat Dealership
as soon as possible to have the system checked.

The warning light turns on in the following
circumstances:
If the fuel inertia cut-off switch is activated
Light failure (rear fog lamps, direction indicators,
brake lights, number plate lights, side lights, daytime
running lights, main beam automatism, trailer direction
indicators, trailer side lights)The failure relating to these lights could be: one or
more blown bulbs, a blown protection fuse or a break
in the electrical connection.
Airbag warning light failure (generic failure warning
light flashing)In this case, the warning light may not indicate
problems with the restraint systems. Before
continuing, contact a Fiat Dealership to have the
system checked immediately.

Diesel filter sensor failure
Trailer connection failure
Audio system failure
Engine oil pressure sensor failure

Water in diesel fuel filterContact a Fiat Dealership as soon as possible to have
the fault fixed.

green"UP" FUNCTION
(only with COMFORT-MATIC gearbox, for versions/
markets, where provided)
The UP function can be activated only with automatic
logic enabled on the COMFORT-MATIC gearbox.
The UP function can be activated by pressing the UP
button located amongst the controls in the dashboard.
After turning this function on, the
warning light on
the instrument panel turns on, together with a
confirmation message on the reconfigurable
multifunction display.

The symbol switches on when a fault is detected on
one of the following lights:
direction indicators

trailer direction indicators.The fault relating to these lights could be: one or more

LOW ENGINE OIL PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT
FAILURE
The symbol turns on to indicate a failure of the low
engine oil pressure warning light.Contact a Fiat Dealership.
BRAKE LIGHT FAILURE
(Versions with reconfigurable multifunction display)
The symbol switches on when a fault is detected in the
brake lights.The fault could be: one or more blown bulbs, a blown
protection fuse or a break in the electrical connection.
MAIN BEAM AUTOMATISM FAULT
(Versions with reconfigurable multifunction display)
The symbol switches on when a fault is detected in the
automatic switching-on system for the main beam
headlights.

POSSIBLE ICE ON ROAD
When the outside temperature reaches or falls below
3°C the outside temperature indication flashes to warn
the driver about the possible presence of ice on the
road.
The display will show the dedicated message (only for
versions with a multifunction display).
SPEED LIMIT EXCEEDED
The symbol switches on together with a dedicated
message when the vehicle exceeds the set speed limit
(see “Multifunction Display” in section “Knowing your
vehicle”).
SCHEDULED SERVICING
(for versions/markets, where provided)
The symbol switches on together with a dedicated
message next to the scheduled servicing warning and
stays on until the service deadline is reached. It
switches off after the service has been carried out at a
Fiat Dealership or once 1000 km have been covered
from the service deadline.
FUEL CUT-OFF DEVICE INERTIA SWITCH TRIPPED
(Versions with reconfigurable multifunction display)
This symbol on the display switches on when the fuel
cut-off device inertia switch has tripped.For the fuel cut-off inertia switch reactivation
procedure, refer to the "Electrical power supply and
fuel cut-off switch" section in the "Knowing your
vehicle" chapter. If it is still not possible to restore the
fuel supply, contact a Fiat Dealership.

The symbol switches on together with a dedicated
message to indicate a failure of the park sensors.
DRIVING ADVISOR SYSTEM FAILURE
(Versions with reconfigurable multifunction display)
The symbol appears on the display and the two
direction warning lights
andlight, along with an
acoustic signal and a dedicated message.
TRAFFIC SIGN RECOGNITION FAILURE
The symbol switches on in the display together with a
dedicated message to indicate a failure of the Traffic
Sign Recognition.
LIMITED RANGE
The display shows a dedicated message to warn the
driver that the vehicle's range is less than 50 km.
ECOTURNING ON THE ECO FUNCTION
ECOis shown on the display with the "ECO" function
is turned on by pressing the corresponding button on
the dashboard. If the button is pressed again, the
wordECOturns off. On some versions, a dedicated
screen is displayed instead of the word "ECO".

dedicated message and the four methane levels turn
off.In this case, contact a Fiat Dealership as soon as
possible

49)When the urea tank is empty and the vehicle is stopped it is no longer possible to restart it until the urea tank is topped up with at least 3
litres of Urea.

11)The presence of water in the fuel supply circuit may cause severe damage to the injection system and irregular engine operation. If thesymbol appears (on some versions together with the dedicated message on the display), contact a Fiat Dealership as soon as possible to
have the system bled. If the above indication occurs immediately after refuelling, water may have entered the tank: turn the engine off
immediately and contact a Fiat Dealership.
