Do

airbag

deployed. The connection of an electrical device
not approved by CITROËN, such as a
USB
charger, may adversely affect the

peration of vehicle electrical systems,

ausing faults such as poor telephone

eception or inter ference with displays
in
the screens.

vehicle's

peakers.
You
can
manage
these
files
using
the
steering

ounted
or
audio
system
controls. A
message is displayed if the power

rawn by the portable device exceeds

he current supplied by the vehicle.

Short-cuts:
using
the
touch
buttons
in
the
upper

and of the touch screen tablet, it is possible
to
go
directly
to
the
selection
of
audio
source,

titles,
depending
on
the

ource)
or
the
temperature
setting.
The screen is of the "resistive" type, it
is
n
ecessary
t
o
p
ress
f
irmly,
p
articularly
f
or "flick" gestures (scrolling through a

ist, moving the map...). A simple wipe
w
ill not be enough. Pressing with more
t
han one finger is not recognised.
The screen can be used when wearing
g
loves. This technology allows use at
a
ll

emperatures.
Under very hot conditions, the volume
m
ay be limited to protect the system.
T
he return to normal takes place when
t
he
temperature in the passenger
c
ompartment drops. To clean the screen, use a soft
non-abrasive cloth (spectacles cloth)
without
any additional product.
Do
not use pointed objects on the

reen.
Do not touch the screen with wet
hands.

The
system
builds
playlists
(in
temporary

emory),
an
operation
which
can
take
from
a
few
seconds
to
several
minutes
at
the
first

onnection.
Reduce
the
number
of
non-music
files
and
the
n
umber
of
folders
to
reduce
the
waiting
time.
The
playlists
are
updated
every
time
the
i
gnition
is
switched
off
or
connection
of
a
USB
m
emory
stick.
The
lists
are
memorised:
if
they
a
re
not
modified,
the
subsequent
loading
time
w
ill
be
shorter.
Insert
the
USB
memory
stick
into
the
USB
port
o
r connect the USB device to the USB port
using
a
suitable
cable
(not
supplied).

The audio equipment will only play audio files with ".wma, .aac, .flac, .ogg and. mp3" file
e
xtensions and with a bit rate of between
32
Kbps and 320 Kbps.
It
also supports VBR (Variable Bit Rate) mode.
No
other type of file (.mp4, ...) can be played.
".wma"
files must be of the standard wma 9 type.
The
sampling rates supported are 32, 44 and
4
8 KHz.
It
is advisable to restrict file names to
2
0 characters, without using of special
c
haracters (e.g.: " " ? ; ù) to avoid any playing
a
nd
d
isplaying
pro
blems.
Information and advice
Use only USB memory sticks formatted FAT32 (file allocation table).
The
system
supports
USB
mass
s
torage
devices,
BlackBerry
® devices
or Apple® players via USB ports. The a
daptor
cable not supplied.
Control of the peripheral device is with
the
audio
system controls.
Other
peripherals, not recognised on
c
onnection, must be connected to the
a
uxiliary
socket using a Jack cable (not
sup
plied). It
is recommended that the USB cable
f
or the portable device is used.
The system does not support the
s
imultaneous connection of two
i
dentical devices (two memory sticks,
t
wo Apple
® players) but it is possible
t
o
connect
one memory stick and one

pple
® player at the same time.
I
n order to be able to play a recorded CDR or
CDRW,
when
recording
it
is
preferable
to
select
t
he
ISO
9660
level
1,
2
or
Joliet
standard.
If
the
disc
is
recorded
in
another
format
it
may
n
ot
be
played
correctly.
It
is
recommended
that
the
same
recording
s
tandard is always used for an individual disc,
with
as
low
a
speed
as
possible
(4x
maximum)
f
or
optimum
sound
quality.
In
the
particular
case
of
a
multi-session
CD,
the
J
oliet
standard
is
recommended.
