{Warning
If the gas struts that hold open the
hood, trunk, and/or liftgate fail, you
or others could be seriously injured.
Take the vehicle to your dealer for
service immediately. Visually
inspect the gas struts for signs of
wear, cracks, or other damage
periodically. Check to make sure the
hood/trunk/liftgate is held open
with enough force. If struts are
failing to hold the hood/trunk/
liftgate, do not operate. Have the
vehicle serviced.
Caution
Do not apply tape or hang any
objects from gas struts. Also do not
push down or pull on gas struts.
This may cause damage to the
vehicle.

Block
The instrument panel fuse block is in
the instrument panel, on the driver
side of the vehicle. To access the
fuses, open the fuse panel door by
pulling down at the top.
Press in on the sides of the door to
release it from the instrument panel.
Pull the door toward you to release it
from the hinge.

Rear Compartment Fuse
Block
The rear compartment fuse block is
on the left side of the trunk behind a
cover.
The vehicle may not be equipped with
all of the fuses, relays, and features

4. Replace with a new canisterwhich is available from your
dealer.
5. Push the new canister into place.
Storing the Tire Sealant
and Compressor Kit
To access the tire sealant and
compressor kit: 1. Open the trunk. See Trunk040.
2. Lift the cover.
3. Turn the wing nut counterclockwise to remove it. 4. Remove the tire sealant and
compressor kit.
To store the tire sealant and
compressor kit, reverse the steps.

To access the spare tire and tools: 1. Open the trunk. 2. Remove the spare tire cover.
3. Turn the retainer nut
counterclockwise and remove the
spare tire. Place the spare tire
next to the tire being changed.
4. The jack and tools are stored below the spare tire. Remove
them from their container and
place them near the tire being
changed.

Number (VIN)
This legal identifier is in the front
corner of the instrument panel, on the
driver side of the vehicle. It can be
seen through the windshield from
outside. The Vehicle Identification
Number (VIN) also appears on the
Vehicle Certification and Service Parts
labels and certificates of title and
registration.
Engine Identification
The eighth character in the VIN is the
engine code. This code identifies the
vehicle's engine, specifications, and replacement parts. See
“Engine
Specifications” underCapacities and
Specifications 0331 for the vehicle's
engine code.
Service Parts Identification
Label
There may be a label on the load floor
under the spare tire cover in the
trunk, that contains the following
information:

Number (VIN)
. Model designation
. Paint information
. Production options and special
equipment
If there is no label, there is a barcode
on the certification label on the
center (B) pillar to scan for this same
information.
