Surround Vision
If equipped, views around the vehicle
appear in the infotainment display to
aid with parking and low-speed
maneuvers.

Front Vision Camera
If equipped, a view of the area in front
of the vehicle appears on the
infotainment display to aid with
parking and low-speed maneuvers.

Rear Vision Camera (RVC)
If equipped, RVC shows a view of the
area behind the vehicle on the
infotainment display when the vehicle
is shifted into R (Reverse) to aid with
parking and low-speed backing
maneuvers.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert
(RCTA) System
If equipped, the RCTA system shows a
triangle with an arrow on the
infotainment display to warn of traffic
behind your vehicle that may cross
your vehicle's path while in
R (Reverse). In addition, beeps will
sound, or the driver seat will pulse.

Parking Assist
If equipped, Front and Rear Parking
Assist (FRPA) uses sensors on the
front and rear bumpers to assist with
parking and avoiding objects during
low speed parking maneuvers.
It operates at speeds less than 8 km/h
(5 mph). FRPA may display a warning
triangle on the Rear Vision Camera
screen and a graphic on the
instrument cluster to provide the
object distance. In addition, multiple
beeps or seat pulses may occur if very
close to an object. The vehicle may also have a higher
speed Backing Warning System and
the Reverse Automatic Braking
system.

Automatic Parking
Assist (APA)
If equipped, the APA system helps to
search for and maneuver the vehicle
into parallel or perpendicular parking
spots using automatic steering,
displays, and beeps. When the vehicle
speed is below 30 km/h (18 mph),
touch
Oto enable the system.

Reverse Automatic
Braking (RAB)
If the vehicle has Adaptive Cruise
Control (ACC) it also has the RAB
system, which is designed to help
avoid or reduce the harm caused by
backing crashes when the vehicle is
shifted into R (Reverse). If the system

detects the vehicle is backing too fast
to avoid a crash with a detected object
behind your vehicle in your path, it
may automatically brake hard to
a stop.

Power Outlets
Power Outlets 12 Volt Direct
Current
Accessory power outlets can be used
to plug in electrical equipment, such
as a cell phone, MP3 player, etc.
The vehicle has five accessory power
outlets:

One near the cupholders on the
center console
. One inside the center console
. One on the rear of the center
console
. One in the third row seat on the
driver side
. One in the rear cargo area on the
passenger side Lift the cover to access and replace
when not in use.

Universal Remote System
If equipped with the Universal Remote
system, these buttons will be in the
front overhead console.
This system provides a way to replace
up to three remote control
transmitters used to activate devices
such as garage door openers, security
systems, and home automation
devices.

Sunroof
1. SLIDE Switch

If equipped, the sunroof only operates
when the ignition is on or in ACC/
ACCESSORY, or when Retained
Accessory Power (RAP) is active. See
Retained Accessory Power (RAP) 0203.

Express-Open/Express-Close : To
express-open the sunroof, fully press
and release
I(1). Press the switch
again to stop the movement. To

Too much ice buildup may prevent
deployment of the power assist steps.
Check the step position before exiting
the vehicle. If this happens, disable
the power assist steps, clear the ice,
then enable the assist steps and
confirm normal function prior to use.
Keep hands, children, pets, objects,
and clothing clear of the power assist
steps when in motion. The steps will
reverse direction if they encounter an
obstruction when opening or closing.
Remove the obstruction, then open
and close the door on the same side
to complete the motion of the assist
steps. If the obstruction is not cleared,
the assist steps remain extended while
driving.
To change the settings:1. Touch
F.
2. Touch Running Boards icon.
The options are:
OFF : Disables the power assist steps,
so they will not deploy. ON :
Power assist steps will deploy
when a door is opened. When a door
is closed the assist steps will
automatically retract after
three seconds.
Extended : Keeps the steps deployed
when the vehicle is in P (Park) or
N (Neutral). This setting may be used
when cleaning the steps.
Vehicle Security
This vehicle has theft-deterrent
features; however, they do not make
the vehicle impossible to steal.
Vehicle Alarm System
The indicator light, on the instrument
panel near the windshield, indicates
the status of the system.
Off : Alarm system is disarmed.
On Solid : Vehicle is secured during
the delay to arm the system.

Maximum Startup Volume
This feature sets the maximum
startup volume. If the vehicle is
started and the volume is greater than
this level, the volume is adjusted to
this level. To set the maximum
startup volume, touch + or−to
increase or decrease.
Audio Cue Volume
This feature sets the volume of audio
files played at system startup and
shutdown.
Select On, then touch + or −to
increase or decrease the volume.

This feature will set the auto fan
speed.
Select Low, Medium, or High.
Auto Cooled Seats
When enabled, this feature will
automatically activate the cooled seats
at the level required by the interior
temperature. See Heated and Cooled

Select Off or On.
Auto Heated Seats
When the vehicle is on, this feature
will automatically activate the heated
seats at the level required by the
vehicle's interior temperature. See
Heated and Cooled Front Seats 067. Select Off or On.
Auto Defog
When set to On, the auto defog comes
on when the climate control sensor
detects high interior humidity. Air will
be directed to the windshield.
Select Off or On.
Auto Rear Defog
If equipped, this feature will
automatically turn on the rear window
defogger when the vehicle is first
started in cold weather and turn off
when the vehicle is warmed.
Select Off or On.
Collision/Detection Systems
Select the Collision/Detection Systems
menu and the following may display:

Alert Type
This feature will set crash alerts to
beeps or seat vibrations. This setting
affects all crash alerts including
Forward Collision Alert, Lane
Departure Warning, and Park Assist
alerts. SeeDriver Assistance Systems

Select Beeps or Safety Alert Seat.
Forward Collision System
This feature will turn on or off
Forward Collision Alert (FCA) and
Forward Automatic Braking (FAB).
The Off setting disables all FCA and
FAB functions. With the Alert and
Brake setting, both FCA and FAB are
available. The Alert setting disables
FAB. See Forward Automatic Braking
(FAB) 0242.
Select Off, Alert and Brake, or Alert.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
This allows the Rear Cross Traffic
Alert feature to be turned on or off.

Select Off or On. Adaptive Cruise Go Notifier
This feature will give a reminder that
Adaptive Cruise Control provides
when it has brought the vehicle to a
complete stop behind another
stopping vehicle, and then that vehicle
drives on.
Select Off or On.

If equipped, this allows the feature to
be turned on or off. See

Lane Change Alert
This allows the feature to be turned

This feature automatically recalls the
previously stored exit button position
when exiting the vehicle. See Memory
