can set whether you would like to charge with the

Speed warning system
Description
Applies to: veh icles with speed warning system
The speed warning system helps you to stay be
low a specified maximum speed that can be set,
changed or deleted in the Infotainment system.
The speed warning system warns you if you are
exceeding the maximum speed that you have set .
A warni ng tone will sound as soon as your speed
exceeds the sto red value slight ly. The
[OJ (USA
models) ;[;] (Canada models) indica to r li gh t and
the co rresponding message appear in the inst ru
ment cluster display at the same time. The

(USA models)/ [ej (Canada mode ls) indicator
light and the message turn off w hen the vehicle
speed drops below the stored maximum speed .
Sett ing a threshold is recommended if you would
like to be reminded when yo u reach a certa in
maximum speed . Situations where you may want
to do so include driving in a country with a ge ner
al speed limit or if there is a specified maximum
speed for winter tires.

The adaptive cruise control system assists you in
stop -and -go traffic . If a vehicle that is detected
ahead stops, your vehicle will brake and stay at a

Audi active lane assist
Description
Applies to: vehicles with Audi active lane assist
Active lane assist (lane departure warning) de
tects lane marker lines within the limits of the
system using a camera in the windshie ld. If you
are approaching a detected lane marker line and
it appears likely that you w ill leave the lane, the
system will warn you with corrective steering.
You can overr ide this steer ing at any time. If you
pass over a line, the stee ring wheel will vib rate
li gh tly. In order for this wa rning vib rat ion to
oc
c ur , it must firs t be swi tc h ed o n in the I nfot ain
ment system. Active lane assist is ready for oper
ation when the lane marker line is detected on at
l east one side of the vehicle.

Audi drive select
Introduction

Audi drive select makes it poss ible to experience
different types of vehicle settings in one vehicle.
The dr iver can select from three modes,
Comfort ,
Auto
and Dynamic , using the ~.'/:.1 button in the
center console or by using the Infotainment sys
tem. This allo ws you to switch between a sporty
and a comfo rtable driving mode, for example. In
the
Individual* mode, the settings can be adjust
ed to your personal preferences . This makes it
possible to comb ine settings such as a sporty en
gine setting with light steering.
