A WARNING

warnings that you should read and follow for
your own safety and the safety of your pas­
sengers.
Front seats
Controls
Seat forward/back adjustment, seat height, backrest and seat cushion angle.

A WARNING
-The power front seats can also be adjusted
when the ignition is switched off. For this

reason, children should never be left unat­
tended in the vehicle because they could be
injured.
- Only adjust the front seat when the vehicle
is stationary. Otherwise, this increases the
risk of an accident
- Exe rcise caution when adjusting the seat
height. Unsupervised or careless seat ad­
justment can pinch fingers or hands causing
injuries .
- The front seat backrests must not be re­
clined too far back when driving, because
this impairs the effect iveness of the safety
be lts and airbag system, which increases
the r isk of injury.
Multifunction button

You can adjust the massage function, upper sec ­
tion of the backrest, lumbar support, side bol­
sters, upper thigh support and safety belt height
using the multifunction button.

Adjusting lumbar support
.,. To adjust the curvature of the lumbar support,
press the button @to the left/right .
.,. To adjust the height of the lumbar support,
press the button@upward/downward.
Adjusting the head restraint angle
.,. To adjust the head restraint so that it is more
vertical/more angled, press the button @ for­
ward/back.
Adjusting the seat position

Adjusting the massage function*
.,. T o adjust the "pulsating" /"wave" massage

The massage function is at its strongest level

Adjusting the reclining position
.,. To adjust the reclining position, press and hold
the button ® until the seat reaches its end po ­
sition .

select the reclining position, the front passeng­
er's seat moves forward and the backrest re­
clines . Depending on the last setting, the leg
support may fold out at the same time . The
front passenger's seat can no longer be used in
the reclining position

Selecting the standard seat position
.,. To adjust the standard seat position, press and
hold the
button (!) until the seat reaches its
end position .

senger's seat moves back into the normal posi­
tion, the head restraint moves to the upright
position and the leg support folds

Adjusting the display*

es the desired position .

ma intain a clear view of the road when the seat

right button @until the display has folded for ­
ward. Make sure the driver has a clear view of
the exter ior mirrors .

the o ute r rear seats and the front passenger's
seat are moved to the facto ry setting.
Ea sy se at entry -the Easy s eat entry makes it
possible to enter and exit the rea r seats comfort­
ab ly. If the function is sw itched on, the rear seat
automatically moves all the way back when the
corresponding door is opened.
Pa ss e nge r seat adju stment * -if the funct ion is
sw itched on in the Infotainment system, the
front p assenger's seat can also be adjusted from
the rear seat using the
¢ page 56, fig. 64 but ­
tons.
The front passenger's seat cannot be adjusted, if
-the front passenger's seat memory function is
switched off

Adjust the head restraints so the upper edge is as
even as possible w ith the top of your head. If that
i s not possib le, try to adjust as close to th is posi­
t ion as poss ible.

The center head rest raint in the rear is not ad­
just able. When passengers r ide in the outer rea r
seats, ra ise these head restraints up to the top

Memory function
Description
Applies to: vehicles with memory function
-
Using the memory function, you can quickly and
eas ily store a personal seat profile for the driver
and front passenger as well as for the outer rear
seats* and recall the settings. The memory func­
tion is controlled us ing the remote control key
and the memory buttons in the drive r's/front
passenger's door and in the rea r doo rs*.
The driver's seat profile is stored again and as­
signed to the remote control key each time the
ve hicle is locked. When you open the door, the
seat profi le is automat ica lly reca lled. If two pea-

To prevent the head restraints from running
i nto the headline, they are automatically
moved forward or upward when the seat is
adjusted.

T wo seat profiles can be stored using the memo ­
ry buttons in the driver's/front passenger's door
respectively, and one seat profile can be stored in
each of the rear doors*. Once they are stored,
these seat profiles can be selected at any time.

Memory buttons
Applies to: vehicles with memory funct ion

The memory buttons are located in the driver's
door, front passenger 's door and in the rear
doors* .
Switching the memory function on/off
• Press the IOFFI button to switch the memory
funct ion on/off . The LED in the button turns on
when the memory function is off . Seat profiles
are neither stored nor recalled.
Storing a seat profile
• Press the ISETI button . When the word SET
lights up, the memory is ready to store set­
tings.
• Now press a memory button briefly. A tone
confirms that the sett ings were stored .
Accessing a seat profile
• If the driver's door is open and the ignit ion is
switched off, press the memory button .
• If the driver's door is closed or the ignit ion is
switched on, press and hold the memory but­
ton until the seat adjustment is complete .
A WARNING
-For safety reasons, the seat setting can only
be recalled when the vehicle is stationary,
otherwise there is a risk of an accident.
- If necessary , you can stop the recall process
by pressing the
!OF FI button or any memory
button.

Applies to: vehicles with memory function
The driver con move the front passenger 's seat
into various positions.
Adjusting the front passenger's seat from
the driver's seat
• Select: the ICARI function button> Car systems
control button > Vehicle settings > Seats >
Front passenger's seat> Adjust seat position .
• You can now adjust the front passenger's seat
using the driver's seat buttons

Align with driver's seat
• To transfer the settings from the driver's seat
to the front passenger's seat, select: the
!CAR I
function button > Car systems control button >
Vehicle settings > Seats > Front passenger 's
seat > Align with driver's seat.
• Press and hold the control knob until the ad­
justing process is complete.
(D Tips
The lumbar support and upper thigh support
settings are not transferred when aligning
the front passenger's seat with the driver's
seat.
