uuOperating the Switches Around the Steering Wheel uDriving Position Memory System
Controls
1. Set the power mode to ON. Adjust the
driver’s seat, the steering wheel and the
door mirrors to the desired position.
2. Press the SET button.
u You will hear the beeper, and the
memory button indicator light will blink.
3. Press and hold memory button
(1 or (2
within five seconds of pressing the SET
button.
u Once the seat, the steering wheel and
the outside mirror positions have been
memorized, the indicator light on the
button you pressed stays on and you will
hear the double-beep.

2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Press a memory button (

u You will hear the beeper, and the
indicator light will blink.
The seat, the steering wheel and the door
mirrors will automatically move to the
memorized positions. When it has finished
moving, you will hear the beeper, and the
indicator light stays on.

After you press the SET button, the storing operation
will be canceled when:
•You do not press the memory button within five
seconds.
•You readjust the seat, the steering wheel or the
outside mirror position before the double-beep.
•You set the power mode to any position except
ON.

Voice Control Operation
Your vehicle has a voice control syst em that allows hands-free operation.
The voice control system uses the (Tal k) and (hang-up/back) buttons on the
steering wheel and a microphone near the map lights in the ceiling.
To achieve optimum voice recognition when using the voice control system:
• Make sure the correct screen is displa yed for the voice command that you are
using.
The system recognizes only certain commands.

• Close the windows and moonroof.
• Adjust the dashboard and side vents so air does not blow onto the microphone in
the ceiling.
• Speak clearly in a natural speaking vo ice without pausing between words.
• Reduce any background noise if possible. The system may misinterpret your
command if more than one person is speaking at the same time.

When you press the button, a helpful prompt asks
what you would like to do. Press and release the
button again to bypass th is prompt and give a
command.

Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink ®
Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink ® (HFL) allows you to place and receive phone calls using
your vehicle’s audio system, without handling your cell phone.
Using HFL
(Pick-up) button: Press to go to the Speed Dial/Call History on the MID or to
answer an incoming call.
(Hang-up/back) button: Press to end a call, to ca ncel a command or to clear
the phone information on the MID.
(Talk) button: Press to give HFL voice commands.
PHONE button: Press to go directly to the phone menu screen.
Interface dial (E NTER/MENU button): Rotate to select an item on the screen,
then press . Move , , or to select secondary menu.

Place your phone where y ou can get good reception.
To use HFL, you need a Bluetooth-compatible cell
phone. For a list of compatible phones, pairing
procedures, and special feature capabilities:

To use HFL, the Bluetooth setting must be On. If
there is an active connecti on to Apple CarPlay, HFL is

Voice control tips:
•Aim the vents away from the ceiling and close the
windows, as noise coming fr om them may interfere
with the microphone.
•Press and release the but ton when you want to
call a number using a stored voice tag, a
phonebook name, or a numbe r. Speak clearly and
naturally after a beep.
•If the microphone picks up vo ices other than yours,
the command may be misinterpreted.
•To change the volume level, use the audio system’s
volume knob or the remote audio controls on the
steering wheel.
State or local laws may pr ohibit the operation of
handheld electronic devi ces while operating a
vehicle.
