The engine switch is in the “ACC” or “ON” position.
Vehicles with smart entry & start system
The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in ACCESSORY or IGNITION ON
mode.
NOTICE
■ To avoid damaging the power outlet
Close the power outlet lid when the power outlet is not in use.
Foreign objects or liquids that enter the power outlet may cause a short cir-
cuit.
■ To prevent battery discharge
Do not use the power outlet longer than necessary when the engine is not
running.

When trouble arises

Connect the bottle to the com-
pressor.
Screw the end of the nozzle
clockwise as far as possible.
Make sure that the compressor
switch is off.
Remove the power plug from the
compressor.
Connect the power plug to the
power outlet socket. ( P. 410)

Disconnect the nozzle from the valve on the tire and then pull
out the power plug from the power outlet socket.
Some sealant may leak when the hose is removed.
Press the button to release pres-
sure from the bottle.
Attach the cap to the nozzle.
Install the valve cap onto the valve of the repaired tire.
Disconnect the hose from the
bottle and attach the cap to the
bottle.
Place the bottle in the original bag
and zip it.
Put the bottle and compressor in the black case to temporarily
store them in the luggage compartment. Use the hook and
loop fastener and attach the case to the luggage compartment
carpet. ( P. 407)
