Master warning light
The master warning light also
comes on or flashes in order to
indicate that a message is cur-
rently being displayed on the multi-
information display.

If any of the warning message or indicator comes on again after the
following actions have been performed, contact your Toyota dealer.
If a warning message or indicator is displayed
If a warning is shown on the mult i-information display, stay calm
and perform the following actions:

Indicates that one or more of the doors is not fully
closedThe system also indicates which doors are not
fully closed.
If the vehicle reaches a speed of 3 mph (5
km/h), flashes and a buzzer sounds to
indicate that the door(s) are not yet fully
closed.
 Make sure that all the doors are closed.
Indicates that the hood is not fully closed
If the vehicle reaches a speed of 3 mph (5
km/h), flashes and a buzzer sounds to
indicate that the hood is not yet fully closed.
 Close the hood.
Indicates that the trunk is not fully closed
If the vehicle reaches a speed of 3 mph (5
km/h), flashes and a buzzer sounds to
indicate that the trunk is not yet fully closed.
 Close the trunk.
Indicates that the accelerator pedal is depressed
while the shift lever is in N
A buzzer also sounds.
 Release the accelerator pedal and shift the
shift lever to D or R.
Indicates that the hybrid battery (traction battery)
power has dropped because a long period of time
has elapsed after shifting the shift lever to N
A buzzer also sounds.
 Restart the hybrid system when starting
the vehicle.

is lowA buzzer also sounds.
 When stopping the vehicle for a long
period of time, shift the shift lever to P. The
battery cannot be charged with the shift
lever in N.
Indicates a malfunction in the hybrid system
A buzzer also sounds.
 Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place
and contact your Toyota dealer.
Indicates a malfunction in the EPS (Electric
Power Steering) system A buzzer also sounds.
 Have the vehicle inspect ed by your Toyota
dealer.
Indicates that the vehicle is being driven at 3 mph (5
km/h) or more with the parking brake still engaged
A buzzer also sounds.
 Release the parking brake.

 Clean the sensor.

Indicates that the dynamic radar cruise control
system is unable to judge vehicle-to-vehicle dis-
tance

 Switch driving mode to normal.
If the windshield wipers are on, turn them
off or set them to a mode other than high
speed wiper operation.

Indicates that the LDA (Lane Departure Alert)
system is suspended (The camera sensor tem-
perature is higher than the operation temperature
range)

 Restart the LDA after driving for a while.

Indicates that a Blind Spot Monitor sensor or the
surrounding area on the bumper is dirty or cov-
ered with ice

Indicates a malfunction in the tire pressure
warning system
Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn
the power switch off then on again.
If the tire pressure warning indicator
flashes for 1 minute then illuminates,
there is a malfunction in the system.
Have the vehicle inspected by your
Toyota dealer.
(If equipped)
Indicates that the tire position information can-
not be recognized
 Drive for a short while and check if the
display updates.
If the radio wave conditions improve, the
display may return to normal. If the tire
pressure is still not displayed after driv-
ing for several minutes, stop the vehicle
in a safe place, turn the power switch off
then on again, and start driving.
If the tire pressure is still not displayed
even after repeating this process several
times, have the vehicle inspected by your
Toyota dealer.
Indicates that the hybrid battery (traction battery)
is low.
 Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe
place. Turn the power switch off and then
to ON mode to rest art the hybrid system.
Ensuring the shift lever is in P, charge the
hybrid battery (traction battery).
