Adjusting the height of the
head restraint
The headrest has a frame with notches
which prevents it from lowering; this is a
safety device in case of impact.
The adjustment is correct when the
upper edge of the headrest is level with
the top of the head.
Never drive with the head restraints
removed; they must be fitted and correctly
adjusted.

o raise a headrest, pull it upwards.
F

T

o remove it, press the lug A and pull
upwards.
F

T

o put the headrest back in place, engage
the headrest rods in the openings keeping
them in line with the seat backrest.

T

o lower the headrest, press the lug A and
push down on the headrest at the same
time.
Heated seat control
Press the switch.
The temperature is controlled automatically.
Pressing a second time stops operation.

Prolonged use is not recommended for
those with sensitive skin.
There is a risk of burns for people whose
perception of heat is impaired (illness,
taking medication, etc.).
There is a risk of overheating the system if
material with insulating properties is used,
such as cushions or seat covers.
Do not use the system:

f wearing damp clothing,

f child seats are fitted.
To avoid breaking the heating element in
the seat:

o not place heavy objects on the
seat,

o not kneel or stand on the seat,

o not place sharp objects on the
seat,

o not spill liquids onto the seat.
To avoid the risk of short-circuit:

o not use liquid products for cleaning
the seat,

ever use the heating function when
the seat is damp.
Rear bench seat
Depending on the version, your vehicle is equipped with one of these three bench seats:
- F ixed bench seat.
For removing and refitting it, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.

Folding the backrest
F If necessary, move the corresponding front seat forward.

heck that the corresponding seat belt is
positioned correctly against the backrest
and buckle it. F

ull the strap 1 to release the seat
backrest 2 .

old the seat back 2 on to the cushion.

Returning the backrest to the normal position
F Straighten the seat back 2 and secure it.
F U nbuckle and reposition the seat belt on
the side of the backrest.
When repositioning the seat backrest,
take care not to trap the seat belts.
Ensure that the backrest has latched
properly into place.
Adjustable head restraints
These have one position for use (up) and a
stowed position (down).
They can be removed and are interchangeable
side to side.
To remove a headrest:

ress on lug A .
Never drive with the headrests removed;
they must be fitted and correctly adjusted.

Steering wheel adjustment
F When stationary, lower the control lever
to release the steering wheel adjustment
mechanism.

djust the height to suit your driving
position.

ull the control lever to lock the steering
wheel adjustment mechanism.
As a safety precaution, these operations
should only be carried out while the
vehicle is stationary.
Mirrors
Door mirrors
Each fitted with an adjustable mirror glass
permitting the lateral rearward vision necessary
for overtaking or parking. They can also be
folded for parking in confined spaces.
As a safety measure, the mirrors should
be adjusted to reduce the "blind spots".
Demisting - Defrosting
Demisting-defrosting of the door
mirrors operates with the engine
running, by switching on the heated
rear screen.
For more information on Demisting and
defrosting the rear screen , refer to the
corresponding section.
Manual model
Adjustment
F Operate the lever in the four directions to adjust the angle of the mirror glass.
Folding
F Fold the mirror manually to protect it when the vehicle is parked.
Unfolding
F Unfold it before moving off again.

Adjustment
The objects observed are, in reality, closer
than they appear.
Take this into account in order to
correctly judge the distance of vehicles
approaching from behind.

You can manually fold the mirrors (parking

Rear view mirror
Equipped with an anti-dazzle system, which
darkens the mirror glass and reduces the
nuisance to the driver caused by the sun,
headlights from other vehicles...

F Pull the lever to change to the "night" anti-dazzle position.

Temperature
F Turn the thumb wheel from
blue (cold) to red (hot) to
modulate the temperature to
your liking.
Air flow
F Turn the thumb wheel to obtain a comfortable air flow.Deactivation
If you put the air flow control in the 0 position,
the temperature is no longer controlled.
A slight flow of air can still be felt, resulting from
the for ward movement of the vehicle.

Windscreen and side windows.

The air distribution can be adapted
by placing the thumb wheel in an
intermediate position or by closing
the vents.
Air intake / Air recirculation
Recirculation of the interior air isolates the
passenger compartment from exterior odours
and fumes.
Return to exterior air intake as soon as possible
to avoid deterioration of the air quality and the
formation of mist.F

left for the "Recirculation of
interior air" position.

right to return to the "Exterior air
intake" position.
Air conditioning
The air conditioning is designed to operate
efficiently in all seasons, with the windows
closed.
It allows you:

n summer, to lower the temperature,

ncrease the effectiveness of the demisting
in winter, above 3°C.
Switching on
F Press this button, its indicator light comes on.
The air conditioning does not operate
when the air flow adjustment control is in
position "0".
To obtain cool air more quickly, you can
use recirculation of the interior air for a few
moments. F

ove the manual control to the
left for the "Recirculation of
interior air" position.

hen, move the manual control
to the right to return to the
"Outside air intake" position.
Switching off
F Press this button again, its indicator light goes off.
Switching the system off could result in
discomfort (humidity, condensation).

Recirculation of the interior air isolates the
passenger compartment from exterior odours
and fumes.
As soon as possible, deactivate the function to
avoid the quality of the air from deteriorating
and mist forming.

ress the button to prevent
fresh air from entering and
recirculate the interior air. The
indicator light illuminates in the
display screen to confirm this. F

P
ress the button again to allow
fresh outside air to enter. The
indicator light goes off from the
display screen to confirm this.
Temperature
F Press these buttons (red for hot and blue for cold), to
adjust the temperature to your
requirements.
The temperature bars come on or go off
progressively on the display.
