damage yourvehicle. To assure propertowing andto

tance personnel towyour vehicle. Itis advisable to
have theprofessional roadassistant carefullyreadthe
following precautions.

. Besure thatthetransmission, steeringsystem,
and drivetrain areinworking condition before
towing. Ifany units aredamaged, thevehicle must
be towed usingadolly orflatbed towtruck. (Two-
Wheel Drive(2WD) model)
. NISSAN recommends thatyour vehicle betowed
with thedriving (front)wheels offthe ground.
(T wo-Wheel Drive(2WD) model)
. Always attachsafetychains beforetowing.
. Never towFour-Wheel Drive(4WD) modelwith
any ofthe wheels onthe ground asthis may cause
serious andexpensive damagetothe drivetrain.

ground, perform thefollowing procedures.
1. Place theignition switchinthe ªOFFº position.
2. Secure thesteering wheelinastraight-ahead
position withrope orasimilar device.
3. Move theshift lever tothe ªNº (Neutral) position.
4. Release theparking brake.
5. Attach thesafety chains whenever towing.
Rear wheels onthe ground:
