CLOCK SET/ADJUSTMENT
WITHOUT NAVIGATION (if so equipped)
Press the ENTER/SETTING button 1 to
show the “Settings” screen on the display.
Turn the TUNE/FOLDER knob 2 to navigate
the options.
Press the ENTER/SETTING button 1 to
select “Clock adjust”.
Press the ENTER/SETTING button 1 to
highlight the hours and minutes.
Turn the TUNE/FOLDER knob 2 to adjust the value.
Press the ENTER/SETTING button 1 again to set the value.
WITH NAVIGATION (if so equipped)
To adjust the time and the appearance of the clock on the display:
1. Press the button 3.
2. Selec t the “Settings” key.
3. Select the “System” key.
4. Select the “Clock” key.
The following settings can be adjusted:
• Time Format: The clock can be set to 12
hours or 24 hours.
• Date Format: The date can be changed to
one of five different formats.
• Clock Mode: From here, the clock mode options are:
· Manual: Allows for the option “Set Clock Manually”. Select this to begin
setting the clock manually using the “+” or “–” to adjust the hours, minutes,
day and month up or down.
· Time Zone: Select the “Time Zone” key 4
to choose from the applicable time zone
list and/or select “Daylight Savings Time”
to switch between ON and OFF.
· Auto: Automatically sets the clock to the
vehicle’s current location.
Press the BACK button 5 to return to the previous screen.

FIRST DRIVE FEATURES
NISSAN INTELLIGENT KEY® SYSTEM
The Nissan Intelligent Key® System allows you to lock or unlock the vehicle and open
your lif tgate. It is important to make sure the Intelligent Key is with you (that is, in
your pocket or purse).
REMOTE HYBRID SYSTEM START* (if so equipped)
The remote start operating range is approximately 200 f t (60 m) from the vehicle. The effective operating range may be shorter if there are walls, strong
radio wave sources near the operating location or other obstructions between
the key and the vehicle.
For the remote start to function, the vehicle must be in the P (PARK) position
with the ignition off and all doors must be closed and locked. Please see your
Owner’s Manual for additional information.
To start your vehicle remotely:
1. Press the button 1 to lock all doors.
2. Within 5 sec onds, press and hold the hybrid system start button 2 for at least 2 seconds.
The hybrid system will start, and the parking lights will turn on.
The automatic climate c ontrol system will begin heating or cooling the vehicle depending on the outside (ambient)
temperature, cabin (in-car) temperature and the last user mode.
During this period, the climate control display and buttons will
be inoperable until the ignition switch is turned ON.
The hybrid system will run for 10 minutes and then turn off.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 to extend the time for an additional 10-minute period. Remote start can only be activated for a maximum of 20 minutes.
• Af ter two remote starts, the ignition switch must be cycled before the remote start can be used again.
• To cancel the remote start, press the hybrid system start button 2.
To start driving, depress the brake pedal and press the ignition switch
START/STOP button.
LOCKING AND UNLOCKING THE VEHICLE
The oper ating range of the Intelligent Key is within 31.5 in (80 cm) from each request switch.
To lock the vehicle, push either door
handle request switch 3, push the lif tgate
request switch 4 or press the button 1
on the key fob.
To unlock the vehicle, perform one of the following procedures:
• Push either door hand le request switch 3 once and the corresponding door
will unlock. Push the request switch 3
again within 5 seconds; all other doors will
unlock, or

POWER PANORAMIC MOONROOF (if so equipped)
To fully open or close the moonroof, push the switch to the OPEN position 1 or
the CLOSE position 2 and release it. The roof will automatically open or close.
To stop the moonroof, push the switch once more while it is opening or closing.
To tilt the moonroof open, press the tilt button 3. To close the moonroof, push the
switch to the CLOSE position 2.
AUTO-REVERSE
When the auto-reverse function is activated, the
moonroof will automatically open or tilt up when
the control unit detects something caught in the
moonroof when the moonroof is closing or tilting down.

4 STATION SELECT KEYS
Twelve stations can be set for the FM band, six for the AM band and 18 for
satellite radio.
To store a station in a preset, you must first select a radio band by pressing the FM•AM button 5 or SXM button 6 then tune to the desired FM, AM or
satellite radio station.
Next touch and hold the desired station select key (1-6) until a beep is heard
and the sound is briefly muted. The channel indicator will appear on the
display and the sound will resume. Programing is now complete.
To retrieve a previously set station, select the radio band where the preset was stored then touch the corresponding station select key (1-6).

CRUISE CONTROL (if so equipped)
The cruise control system enables you to set a constant cruising speed once the vehicle
has reached 25 mph (40 km/h). The system
will automatically maintain the set speed until
you tap the brake pedal, accelerate, cancel or
turn the system off.
To activate the cruise control, push the ON/OFF switch 1 on the steering wheel. The
CRUISE indicator light in the instrument panel
will illuminate.
To set a cruising speed, accelerate the vehicle to the desired speed, push the SET – switch 2 on the steering wheel and release. A green circle indicator light
in the instrument panel will illuminate, and the set speed will display next to the
indicator light. Take your foot off the accelerator pedal. Your vehicle will maintain
the set speed.
To reset at a faster cruising speed, push and hold the RES + switch 3 on the
steering wheel. When the vehicle attains the desired speed, release the switch.
To reset at a slower cruising speed, push and hold the SET – switch2 on the
steering wheel. Release the switch when the vehicle slows to the desired speed.
To cancel the preset speed, tap the brake pedal or push the CANCEL switch 4
on the steering wheel.
To turn off cruise control, push the ON/OFF switch 1 on the steering wheel.
Both the CRUISE indicator light and green circle indicator light in the instrument
panel will extinguish.

USB (Universal Serial Bus) CONNECTION PORT/AUX JACK AND
iPOD® INTERFACE
The USB por t/Aux jack 1 is located beneath
the climate controls and are illuminated for
better visiblity when the headlight switch is in
the ON position.
When a c ompatible USB memory device, iPod® or auxiliary device is plugged into the
USB port/Aux jack, compatible audio files stored on the device can be played
through the vehicle’s audio system.

USING THE VEHICLE INFORMATION DISPLAY

wheel to change the display mode.
Press the buttons 3 on the steering wheel
up or down to navigate through the vehicle information display menu.
Press the OK button 2 on the steering wheel to change or select an item.
Press the button 4 on the steering wheel to go back to the previous menu.
START-UP DISPLAY
When the ignition switch is in the ON position, the vehicle information display will
support four of the following modes:
Active system status (if so equipped)
Fuel economy
Trip computer
Warnings (if there are any)
Tire pressure information
RESETTING THE TRIP COMPUTER
1. Press the button 3 on the steering wheel until you reach the trip
computer mode.
2. Press the OK button 2.
3. Select one of the following items:
“Cancel” - returns to the previous screen without resetting the trip computer.
“Distance”- resets the current trip computer distance and time of the selected trip computer.
“All” - resets all linked values for the selected drive computer. This includes distance and time, average fuel economy and average speed information for the
selected drive computer.

NISSANCONNECTSM MOBILE APPS (if so equipped)
Your vehicle may be equipped with NissanConnectSM Mobile Apps, allowing you
to control various compatible smartphone applications through the vehicle’s
display screen. A basic package is included for a period of time from the original
in-service date of the vehicle.
To enroll in NissanConnectSM Mobile Apps:
1. Create a Nissan Owner Portal account at owners.nissanusa.com.
· Make sure to include your vehicle’s VIN when creating your account.
2. Under the NissanConnect Mobile Apps tab, select the red button next to
Manage Subscription to enroll.
3. Next, download the NissanConnectSM Mobile Apps companion app from
Google Play or the Apple App Store. Log into the companion app using your
Nissan Owner Portal ID and password.
4. Launch the app , select “United States”, and accept the Terms and Conditions.
5. Select “Sign In”, then sign in with the email username and password you created when registering on the Nissan Owner Portal website.
Pair your cellular phone to the vehicle.
· For Android® devices, the smartphone must be connected through the
Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone system.
· For iPhone® on vehicles WITH Navigation, the device must be connected to the
vehicle’s USB port using your cellular phone’s USB cable.
· For iPhone® on vehicles WITHOUT Navigation, connect the device using the
Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone system.
You can select which apps you want activated in the vehicle from the
NissanConnectSM Mobile Apps companion app by selecting “Manage My Apps”.
Some apps shown in the companion app may not appear in your vehicle
depending on availability for your model.
Some applications require you to have the app downloaded and installed
on your cellular phone, while others require you to enter your username and
password to log in. Not all apps shown on the NissanConnect app site are
available on all models.

HANDS-FREE TEXT MESSAGING ASSISTANT* (if so equipped)
This system allows for sending and receiving
text messages through the vehicle’s interface.
Using predefined or custom messages, send
a text to an entry stored in your Bluetooth®
Hands-free Phone System.
Once enabled, the text message, sender and delivery time are shown on the control panel
display when the vehicle speed is less than
5 mph (8 km/h).
Text messages have the option of being read aloud at all vehicle speeds.
Many cellular phones may require special permission to enable text messaging. Check the cellular phone’s screen during Bluetooth® pairing.
For some cellular phones, you may need to enable “Notifications” in
the cellular phone’s Bluetooth
® menu for text messages to appear
on the touch-screen display. For more detailed information and
instructions, refer to your cellular phone’s Owner’s Manual.
Your available apps will only appear on the screen when your smartphone
is connected to both the vehicle and the Internet. For additional information
on connecting your device, see your Owner’s Manual or visit 
www.NissanUSA.com/bluetooth.

APPS button 3 is enabled.
This is normal.
If available, your apps can be accessed once the vehicle and cellular phone are
connected through the NissanConnectSM Mobile Apps companion app.

BLUETOOTH® SYSTEM WITHOUT NAVIGATION* (if so equipped)
PAIRING PROCEDURE
1. Press the button on the steering wheel. The system announces the
available commands.
2. Say: “Add Phone”. The system acknowledges the command and asks you to initiate connecting from the cellular phone handset.
• A cellular phone can also be added at any time by selecting
“Settings” > “Bluetooth” > “Add Phone”.
3. Initiate pairing fr om the cellular phone.
• The connecting procedure varies according to each cellular phone model.
For detailed connecting instructions and a list of compatible cellular phones,
please visit www.NissanUSA.com/bluetooth.
• When pr ompted, compare the PIN on the display with the PIN shown on the handset. If your device does not support Secure Simple Pairing and requests
you to input a PIN, enter “1234” from the handset.
PHONEBOOK REGISTRATION
When the c ellular phone is connected to the in-vehicle module, the data stored in the cellular phone, such as phonebook, outgoing call logs, incoming call logs
and missed call logs, is automatically transferred and registered to the system.
The availability of this function depends on each cellular phone. The copying procedure also varies according to each cellular phone. See your cellular phone’s
Owner’s Manual for more information.
Up to 1,000 entries per registered cellular phone can be stored in the phonebook.
MAKING A CALL
1. Press the button on the steering wheel. A tone will sound.
2. Say: “Call”. The system acknowledges the command and announces the next set of available commands.
3. Say the registered person’s name. The system acknowledges the command and announces the next set of available commands.
4. Say: “ Yes”. The system acknowledges the command and makes the call.
RECEIVING/ENDING A CALL
To accept the call, press the button on the steering wheel.
To reject the call, press the button on the steering wheel.
To hang up, press the button on the steering wheel.
