Average Fuel Economy (2)
The average fuel economy is calcu-
lated by the total driving distance
and fuel consumption since the last
average fuel economy reset.
- Fuel economy range: 0.0 ~ 99.9L/100km
The average fuel economy can be reset both manually and automati-
cally.
Choose the average fuel reset mode
you prefer with in "User settings" of
the "LCD Display" as below ;
- OFF (manual reset) The average fuel economy will not
reset automatically.
To clear the average fuel economy
manually, press the RESET button
" " on the steering wheel for more
than 1 second when the average fuel
economy is displayed. - After Ignition (automatic reset)
The average fuel economy will reset
4 hours after the engine is turned off.
- After refueling (automatic reset) The average fuel economy will
reset to zero (---) when the vehicle
speed exceeds 1 km/h after refuel-
ing more than 6 liters.
✽ ✽ NOTICE
The average fuel economy is not dis-
played for more accurate calculation
if the vehicle does not drive more than
10 seconds or 50 meters (0.03 miles)
since the ignition switch or Engine
Start/Stop button is turned to ON.
Instant Fuel Economy (3)
This mode displays the instant fuel
economy during the last few sec-
onds when the vehicle speed is
more than 10 km/h (6.2 MPH).
- Fuel economy range: 0 ~ 20.0L/100km or 0 ~ 50.0 MPG

Trip A/B (for Type A cluster)
Tripmeter (1)
The tripmeter is the total driving dis-tance since the last tripmeter reset.
- Distance range: 0.0 ~ 9999.9 km or mi.
To reset the tripmeter, press the RESET button on the steering
wheel for more than 1 second
when the tripmeter is displayed.
Average Vehicle Speed (2)
The average vehicle speed is cal-culated by the total driving dis-
tance and driving time since the
last average vehicle speed reset.
- Speed range: 0 ~ 240 km/h or 0 ~160 MPH.
To reset the average vehicle speed, press the RESET button on the
steering wheel for more than 1 sec-
ond when the average vehicle
speed is displayed.
✽ ✽ NOTICE
• The average vehicle speed is not dis-
played if the driving distance is less
than 50 meters (0.03 miles) or the
driving time is less than 10 seconds
since the ignition switch or Engine
Start/Stop button is turned to ON.
• Even if the vehicle is not in motion, the average vehicle speed keeps
going while the engine is running.
Elapsed Time (3)
The elapsed time is the total driving
time since the last elapsed time
reset.
- Time range (hh:mm): 00:00 ~ 99:59
To reset the elapsed time, press the RESET button on the steer-
ing wheel for more than 1 second
when the elapsed time is displayed.
✽ ✽ NOTICE
Even if the vehicle is not in motion,
the elapsed time keeps going while

Accumulated Info display
(for Type B cluster)
This display shows the accumulated
trip distance (1), the average fuel
economy (2), and the total driving
time (3).
The information is calculated starting
from the last reset.
To manually reset the information,
press and hold the button when
viewing the Accumulated driving info.
The trip distance, the average fuel
economy, and total driving time will
reset simultaneously. The accumulated driving information
will continue to be counted while the
engine is still running (for example,
when the vehicle is in traffic or
stopped at a stop light.

NOTICE
The vehicle must be driven for a min
imum of 300 meters (0.19 miles)
since the last ignition key cycle
before the average fuel economy will
be recalcu lated.
Drive Info display
(for Type B cluster)
This display shows the trip distance
(1), the average fuel economy (2),
and the total driving time (3).
The information is calculated for
each ignition cycle. The driving infor-
mation data gets initialized, when it
has passed 4 hours after turning
OFF the engine. In other words, the
last driving information is available 4
hours after you have turned on the
engine.

When you shift the gear to the R
(Reverse) position and if one or more
of the below occurs you may have a
malfunction in the rear parking assist
system.
You don't hear an audible warning
sound or if the buzzer sounds inter-
mittently.

If this occurs, we recommend that
the system be checked by an author-
ized Kia dealer.WARNING
Pay close attention when the
vehicle is driven close to
objects on the road, particularly
pedestrians, and especially
children. Be aware that some
objects may not be detected by
the sensors, due to the object’s
distance, size or material, all of
which can limit the effective-
ness of the sensor. Always per-
form a visual inspection to
make sure the vehicle is clear of
all obstructions before moving
the vehicle in any direction.

The parking assist system assists
the driver during movement of the
vehicle by chiming or displaying the
area an obstacle is detected on the
instrument cluster if any object is
sensed within the distance of 100 cm
(39.4 in) in front and 120 cm (47 in)
behind the vehicle.
This system is a supplemental sys-
tem and it is not intended to nor does
it replace the need for extreme care
and attention of the driver.
The sensing range and objects
detectable by the sensors are limited.
Whenever moving pay as much
attention to what is in front and
behind of you as you would in a vehi-
cle without a parking assist system.
PARKING ASSIST SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)
WARNING
The parking assist system
should only be considered as a
supplementary function. The
driver must check the front and
rear view. The operational func-
tion of the parking assist system
can be affected by many factors
and conditions of the surround-
