✽✽NOTICE
Replace the filter according to the Maintenance Schedule.
If the vehicle is being driven in severe
conditions such as dusty or rough
roads, more frequent air conditioner
filter inspections and changes are
required.
When the air flow rate suddenly
decreases, we recommend that the
system be checked by an authorized
Kia dealer.Checking the amount of air con-
ditioner refrigerant and compres-sor lubricant
When the amount of refrigerant is low,
the performance of the air conditioning is
reduced. Overfilling also has a negativeimpact on the air conditioning system.
Therefore, if abnormal operation is
found, we recommend that the system be
inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
✽✽ NOTICE
It is important that the correct type and
amount of oil and refrigerant is used.
Otherwise, damage to the compressor
and abnormal system operation may
occur.
WARNING
We recommend that the system be
serviced by an authorized Kia deal-
er. Improper service may cause
serious injury to the person per-
forming the service.

vehicle emission services to protect your warranty. Where both mileage and time are shown, the frequency of service is deter-
mined by whichever occurs first. * 1
: Adjust alternator, water pump and air conditioner (if equipped)
drive belt. Inspect and if necessary repair or replace.
If drive belt noise occurred, readjust drive belt tension before
replace.
* 2

miles) or before starting a long trip.

when you do maintenance of other items.
* 4
: Inspect for excessive valve noise and/or engine vibration
and adjust if necessary. We recommend that the system be
serviced by an authorized Kia dealer.
* 5
: The fuel filter is considered to be maintenance free but peri-

that you consult an authorized Kia dealer for details. *

Europe Fuel standards (EN228) or equivalents.
For customers who do not use good quality gasolines
