Inner panel fuse replacement
1. Turn the ignition switch and all otherswitches off.
2. Open the fuse panel cover. 3. Pull the suspected fuse straight out.
Use the removal tool provided in the
engine compartment fuse panel.
4. Check the removed fuse; replace it if it is blown.
5. Push in a new fuse of the same rating, and make sure it fits tightly in the clips.
If it fits loosely, we recommend that you
consult an authorized Kia dealer.
If you do not have a spare, use a fuse of the same rating from a circuit you may not need for operating the vehicle, suchas the cigar lighter fuse.
If the headlights, fog lights, turn signallights, position lights or interior lights do
not work and there is nothing wrong with the bulbs, we recommend that you con-sult with an authorized Kia dealer.

CAUTION
When replacing a blown fuse or
relay with a new one, make surethe new fuse or relay fits tightly into the clips. The incomplete fas-
tening fuse or relay may cause thevehicle wiring and electric sys-tems damage and a possible fire.
Do not remove fuses, relays and terminals fastened with bolts or
nuts. The fuses, relays and termi-nals may be fastened incomplete-ly, and it may cause a possible fire.If fuses, relays and terminals fas-
tened with bolts or nuts are blown, we recommend that you consultwith an authorized Kia dealer.
Do not input any other objects except fuses or relays into
fuse/relay terminals such as a driv-er or wiring. It may cause contactfailure and system malfunction.
Do not plug in screwdrivers or aftermarket wiring into the terminaloriginally designed for fuse and relays only. The electrical systemand wiring of the vehicle interior

LIGHT BULBS
Use only the bulbs of the specifiedwattage.
✽✽ NOTICE
After driving in heavy rain or washing
the vehicle, headlight and taillight lenses
could appear foggy. This condition is
caused by the temperature difference
between the lamp inside and outside.
This is similar to the condensation on
your windows inside your vehicle during
rain and does not indicate a problem
with your vehicle. If the water leaks into
the lamp bulb circuitry, we recommend
that the system be checked by an
authorized Kia dealer.WARNING - Working on
the lights
Prior to working on the light, firmly
apply the parking brake, ensure
that the ignition switch is turned to
the “LOCK” position (smart key:turn off the engine) and turn off the
lights to avoid sudden movement
of the vehicle and burning your fin-
gers or getting an electric shock.
CAUTION
Be sure to replace the burned-out bulb with one of the same wattagerating. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the fuse or electric
wiring system.
CAUTION
If you do not have necessary tools, the correct bulbs and theexpertise, we recommend thatyou consult an authorized Kia
dealer. In many cases, it is diffi-cult to replace vehicle light bulbsbecause other parts of the vehiclemust be removed before you can
get to the bulb. This is especially true if you have to remove theheadlight assembly to get to the bulb(s).
Removing/installing the headlightassembly can result in damage to the vehicle.
Do not install additional bulb or LED. If you install that, the lamp
may not be operated properly andfuse box or electric wiring systemmay have problem.
