Auto down window

Pressing the power window switch
momentarily to the second detent
position (6) completely lowers the
window even when the switch is
released. To stop the window at the
desired position while the window is
in operation, pull up the switch
momentarily to the opposite direction
of the window movement.
Auto up/down window (if equipped)
Pressing or pulling up the power win-
dow switch momentarily to the sec-ond detent position (6) completely
lowers or raises the window even
when the switch is released. To stop
the window at the desired position
while the window is in operation, pull
up or press down and release the
switch. If the power window does not operate
normally, the automatic power win-
dow system must be reset as follows:
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position.
2. Close the window and continue pulling up the power window
switch for at least 1 second after
the window is completely closed.

If your vehicle is equipped with a
sunroof, you can slide or tilt your
sunroof with the sunroof control lever
located on the overhead console. The sunroof can only be opened, closed, or tilted when the ignition
switch is in the ON position.
✽✽NOTICE
In cold and wet climates, the sun- roof may not work properly due to
freezing conditions.
After a vehicle is washed or in a rainstorm be sure to wipe off any
water that is on the sunroof before
operating it.

✽ NOTICE
The sunroof cannot slide when it is in the tilt position nor can it be tilt-
ed while in an open or slide posi-
tion.
While driving the vehicle, it is rec- ommended that you use the sun-
roof in the first detent position to
reduce possible wind noise.

Sunshade The sunshade will automatically open with the glass panel when the
glass panel is moved. Close it manu-
ally if you want it closed. Resetting the sunroof
Whenever the vehicle battery is dis-
connected or discharged, you must
reset your sunroof system as follows:
1.Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position.
2.According to the position of the sunroof, do the following.
1) In case the sunroof is closed completely or tilted:
Push the sunroof control lever
upward until the sunroof tilts
completely upward.
2) In case the sunroof is open: Push the sunroof control lever
forward until the sunroof closes
completely. Push the sunroof
control lever upward until the
sunroof tilts completely upward.
3.Release the sunroof control lever.
4.Push the sunroof control lever upward (about 10 seconds) until
the sunroof has returned to the
original tilt position after it is raised
a little higher than the maximum tilt
position. Then, release the lever. 5.Push the sunroof control lever
upward (about 6 seconds) until the
sunroof operates as follows;
TILT DOWN SLIDE OPEN
SLIDE CLOSE
Then, release the lever.
When this is complete, the sunroof system has been reset.

Manual type (if equipped)
To change the steering wheel angle,
adjust the steering wheel to thedesired angle (2) while pulling the
lock-release lever (1) and then
release the lock-release lever to lock
the steering wheel in place. Be sure
to adjust the steering wheel to the
desired position before driving.
Electric type (if equipped)
Adjust the steering wheel angle (2) and position (3) with the control
switch (1). Never adjust the position
of the steering wheel while driving. Heated steering wheel (if equipped)
With the ignition switch in the ON position, pressing the heated steer-
ing wheel button warms the steering
wheel. The indicator on the button
will illuminate.
To turn the heated steering wheel off,
press the button once again. The
indicator on the button will turn off.

NOTICE
The heated steering wheel will turn
off automatically approximately 30
minutes after the heated steering
wheel is turned on.

Whenever the shift lever is shifted
into reverse (R), the mirror will auto-
matically go to the brightest setting in
order to improve the drivers view
behind the vehicle.To operate the electric rearview mirror:
The mirror defaults to the ON posi-
tion whenever the ignition switch is
turned on.
Press the ON/OFF button (1) to turn the automatic dimming func-
tion off. The mirror indicator light
will turn off.
Press the ON/OFF button (1) to
turn the automatic dimming func-
tion on. The mirror indicator light
will illuminate. Outside rearview mirror Be sure to adjust the mirror angles
before driving.
Your vehicle is equipped with both
left-hand and right-hand outside
rearview mirrors. The mirrors can beadjusted remotely with the remote
switch. The mirror heads can be fold-
ed back to prevent damage during an
automatic car wash or when passing
through a narrow street.

The outside rearview mirror is convex. Objects seen in the
mirror are closer than they
appear.
Use your interior rearview mirror or direct observation todetermine the actual distance
of following vehicles when
changing lanes.
CAUTION
When cleaning the mirror, use a
paper towel or similar materialdampened with glass cleaner. Do not spray glass cleanerdirectly on the mirror. It maycause the liquid cleaner to enter the mirror housing.

Remote control
The electric remote control mirror
switch allows you to adjust the posi-
tion of the left and right outside
rearview mirrors. To adjust the posi-tion of either mirror the ignition
switch should be in the ACC position.
Push the switch (1) to R or L to select
the right side mirror or the left side
mirror, then press a correspondingpoint on the mirror adjustment con-
trol to position the selected mirror up,
down, left or right.
After the adjustment, put the switch
into the neutral (center) position to
prevent inadvertent adjustment.
CAUTION
Do not scrape ice off the mirror
face; this may damage the sur-face of the glass. If ice should restrict the movement of themirror, do not force the mirrorfor adjustment. To remove ice, use a deicer spray, or a spongeor soft cloth with warm water.
CAUTION
If the mirror is jammed with ice,do not adjust the mirror by force.Use an approved spray de-icer (not radiator antifreeze) torelease the frozen mechanism ormove the vehicle to a warm place and allow the ice to melt.
WARNING
Do not adjust or fold the outside
rearview mirrors while the vehi-
cle is moving. This could result in
loss of control, and an accident

Reverse parking aid function (if equipped)
While the vehicle is moving back-
ward, the outside rearview mirror(s)
will move downward to aid reverse
parking. According to the position of
the outside rearview mirror switch
(1), the outside rearview mirror(s) will
operate as follows: L/R : When the remote control out-
side rearview mirror switch is selected to the L (left) or R
(right) position, both outside
rearview mirrors will move
downward. Neutral
: When the remote control
out-side rearview mirror
switch is placed in the mid-dle position, the outside
rearview mirrors will not
operate while the vehicle is
moving backward.
✽✽ NOTICE
The outside rearview mirrors will
automatically revert to their original
positions under the following condi-
tions:
1. Ignition switch is in the LOCK position.
2. Shift lever is moved to any posi- tion except R.
3. Remote control outside rearview mirror switch is placed in the
middle position.
CAUTION
The mirrors stop moving when
they reach the maximumadjusting angles, but themotor continues to operatewhile the switch is pressed. Do not press the switch longerthan necessary, the motormay be damaged.
Do not attempt to adjust the outside rearview mirror byhand. Doing so may damagethe parts.

Folding the outside rearview mirror

To fold the outside rearview mirror,
grasp the housing of the mirror and
then fold it toward the rear of the
vehicle. Electric type
To fold the outside rearview mirror,
press the button.
To unfold it, press the button again.

The electric type outside
rearview mirror operates eventhough the ignition switch is in the LOCK position.However, to prevent unneces-sary battery discharge, do not adjust the mirrors longer thannecessary while the engine isnot running.
In case it is an electric type outside rearview mirror, don’tfold it by hand. It could causemotor failure.
