This mode informs of service interval (mileage or days) and pressure status of each tire.
This mode informs of warning messages related to washer fluid or malfunction of Blind Spot Detection system (BSD) and so on.
When the any door is not closed securely, this symbol illuminated.
User SettingsOn this mode, you can change settings of the doors, lamps and so on.

These compartments can be used to
store small items. Center console storage
To open the center console storage,
push the button (1) or pull up the
lever (2).Cool box (if equipped)
You can keep beverage cans or other
items warm or cool using the
open/close lever of the vent installed
in the center console box.
1. Turn on the fan and set the temper-
ature control to the desired position.
2. Set the mode control to the face ( ) or bi-level ( ) position.
3. Turn the open/close lever of the vent installed in the center console
box to the open position (2).
4. When the cool box is not used, turn the lever to its closed position (1).
STORAGE COMPARTMENT
WARNING - Flammable materials
Do not store cigarette lighters,
propane cylinders, or other
flammable/explosive materials
in the vehicle. These items may
catch fire and/or explode if the
vehicle is exposed to hot tem-
peratures for extended periods.
CAUTION
To avoid possible theft, do not leave valuables in the storagecompartment.
Always keep the storage com- partment covers closed whiledriving. Do not attempt toplace so many items in the storage compartment that thestorage compartment covercannot close securely.

Always make sure that electric add-ons are fully plugged intothe multipurpose sockets. Insecure contacts may lead toelectrical malfunctions.

Floor mat anchor(s) (if equipped) When using a floor mat on the front
floor carpet, make sure it attaches to
the floor mat anchor(s) in your vehi-
cle. This keeps the floor mat from
sliding forward.Luggage net holder (if equipped)
To keep items from shifting in the
cargo area, you can use the holderslocated in the cargo area to attachthe luggage net.
If necessary, we recommend that
you contact an authorized Kia dealer.WARNING
The following must be observed when installing ANY floor mat
to the vehicle.
Ensure that the floor mats are securely attached to the vehi-
cle's floor mat anchor(s)
before driving the vehicle.
Do not use ANY floor mat that cannot be firmly attached to the
vehicle's floor mat anchors.
Do not stack floor mats on top of one another (e.g. all-weatherrubber mat on top of a carpeted
floor mat). Only a single floor
mat should be installed in eachposition.
IMPORTANT - Your vehicle was
manufactured with driver's side
floor mat anchors that are
designed to securely hold the
floor mat in place. To avoid any
interference with pedal opera-
tion, Kia recommends that the
Kia floor mat designed for use
in your vehicle be installed.

Cargo security screen (if equipped)
Use the cargo security screen to hide items stored in the cargo area. 1.To use the rear shade of the cargo
security screen, pull the handle
backward and insert the cargo
security screen bar into the hole
both side of the vehicle.
2.Pull the hook forward and hang the hook on the headrest pole.
3.Pull out the screen and insert the edges into the slots.

or the vehicle, care should betaken when carrying fragile or bulky objects in the luggagecompartment.
WARNING
To avoid eye injury, DO NOT
overstretch the luggage net.
ALWAYS keep your face and
body out of the luggage net’s
recoil path. DO NOT use the lug-
gage net when the strap has vis-
ible signs of wear or damage.

When not in use, place the cargo
security screen on the lower portionof the cargo area.
WARNING
Do not place objects on the cargo security screen. Such
objects may be thrown about
inside the vehicle and possi-
bly injure vehicle occupantsduring an accident or whenbraking.
Never allow anyone to ride in the luggage compartment. It
is designed for luggage only.
Maintain the balance of the vehicle and locate the weight
as far forward as possible.
CAUTION
Since the cargo security screen
may be damaged or malformed,do not put the luggage on itwhen it is used.
CAUTION
When folding the rear seatbackforward, remove the hook fromthe headrest pole. Otherwise, the front shade of the cargosecurity screen may be dam-aged or malformed.

Roof rack (if equipped)
If the vehicle has a roof rack, you can
load cargo on top of your vehicle. Crossbars and fixing components
needed to install the roof rack on
your vehicle may be obtained from
an authorized Kia dealer or other
qualified shop.✽✽
NOTICE
 The crossbars (if equipped) should be placed in the proper load carry-
ing positions prior to placing items
onto the roof rack.
 If the vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, be sure not to position
cargo onto the roof rack in such a
way that it could interfere with
sunroof operation.
 When the roof rack is not being used to carry cargo, the crossbars
may need to be repositioned if
wind noise is detected.
EXTERIOR FEATURES
CAUTION
When carrying cargo on the
roof rack, take the necessaryprecautions to make sure thecargo does not damage theroof of the vehicle.
When carrying large objects on the roof rack, make surethey do not exceed the overallroof length or width.
When you are carrying cargo on the roof rack, do not operatethe sunroof (if equipped).

The following specification is the maximum weight that can
be loaded onto the roof rack.
Distribute the load as evenly as
possible across the crossbars
(if equipped) and roof rack and
secure the load firmly.
Loading cargo or luggage in
excess of the specified weight
limit on the roof rack may
damage your vehicle.
The vehicle center of gravity will be higher when items are
loaded onto the roof rack.
Avoid sudden starts, braking,
sharp turns, abrupt maneu-
vers or high speeds that may
result in loss of vehicle con-
trol or rollover resulting in anaccident.

Side step (if equipped)
When entering or exiting the vehicle,
use the side step for your conven-
ience.(Continued)
Always drive slowly and turncorners carefully when carry-
ing items on the roof rack.
Severe wind updrafts, caused
by passing vehicles or natural
causes, can cause sudden
upward pressure on items
loaded on the roof rack. This
is especially true when carry-
ing large, flat items such as
wood panels or mattresses.This could cause the items to
fall off the roof rack and cause
damage to your vehicle or
others around you.
To prevent damage or loss of cargo while driving, check fre-
quently before or while driv-ing to make sure the items on
the roof rack are securely fas-tened.

Watch your steps so as not to slip on a slippery side step
when it is rainy or snowy.
If you try to open the door when the temperature is
below freezing or when the
side step is covered with
snow or ice, the door could be
damaged. Remove any snow
that may accumulate on theside steps.
