related to the LKAS. The LKAS cancels automatically. 
The beeper sounds simultaneously if selected by

VSA ®, ABS and brake system, take appropriate action.

●Appears when the LKAS is  in operation, or the LKAS 
button is pressed, but there the temperature inside the 
LKAS camera is too high. The LKAS cancels 
automatically. The beeper  sounds simultaneously if 
selected by customization.●Use the climate control system*/heating and cooling 
system* to cool down the camera.●Goes off  - The camera has been cooled down. Pressing 
the LKAS button can resume the system.

●Appears when the area arou nd the camera is blocked 
by dirt, mud, etc. Stop your vehicle in a safe place, and 
clean the camera area of  the windshield with a soft 
cloth.
●May appear when driving in bad weather (rain, snow, 
fog, etc.)
●Have your vehicle checked by  a dealer if the indicator 
and message come back on after you cleaned the area 
around the camera.

Gauges and Multi-Information Display
Gauges
Gauges include the speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, and related indicators. 
They are displayed when the power mode is in ON.
Displays your driving speed in mph (U.S.) or km/h (Canada).
Shows the number of engine revolutions per minute.
Displays the amount of fuel left in the fuel tank.
Displays the temperature of the engine coolant.

1Speedometer
Press and hold the  RESET button until you hear a 
beep when the blank appears on the multi-
information display.
The speedometer reading as well as the displayed 
measurements will switch between mph and km/h.
The display change message will switch for a few 
seconds.
1 Fuel Gauge
NOTICE
You should refuel when the reading approaches  .
Running out of fuel can cause  the engine to misfire, 
damaging the cata lytic converter.
The actual amount of remain ing fuel may differ from 
the fuel gauge reading.E
1 Temperature Gauge
NOTICE
Driving with the temperat ure gauge pointer in the 
upper zone can cause serious  engine damage. Pull 
safely to the side of th e road and allow engine

The multi-information display shows the od ometer, trip meter, outside temperature 
indicator*, and other gauges. It also displays important messages such as warnings 
and other helpful information.

Shows the outside temperature in Fahr enheit (U.S.) or Celsius (Canada).
■Adjusting the outside temperature display
Adjust the temperature reading up to ±5°F  or ±3°C if the temperature reading 
seems incorrect.
Shows the total number of miles (U.S.) or kilometers (Canada) driven since the last 
reset. Meters A and B can be used to measure two separate trips.
■Resetting a trip meter
To reset a trip meter, displa y it, then press and hold the  RESET button until the trip 
meter is reset to  0.0.
Shows the estimated average fuel economy  of each trip meter in mpg (U.S.) or l/100 
km (Canada). The display is updated at set intervals. When a trip meter is reset, the 
average fuel economy is also reset.

1 Outside Temperature*
The temperature sensor is located in the front 
bumper.
Road heat and exhaust fr om another vehicle can 
affect the temperature reading when your vehicle 
speed is less than 19 mph (30 km/h).
It may take several minutes for the display to be 
updated after the temperature reading has stabilized.
Use the audio/information screen’s customized 
features to correct the temperature.

Controls
■To deactivate the security system alarm
Unlock the vehicle using the key, remote  transmitter, or smart entry with push 
button start system. The system, along with the horn and fl ashing lights, is 
deactivated.
■Setting the security system alarm
The security system alarm  automatically sets when the following conditions have 
been met:
• The power mode is set to VEHICLE OFF (LOCK).
• The hood and trunk are closed.
• All doors are locked from outside with the  key, remote transmitter, or smart entry 
system.
■When the security system alarm sets
The security system alarm indicator in  the instrument panel blinks. When the 
blinking interval changes after about 15 se conds, the security system alarm is set.
■To cancel the security system alarm
The security system alarm is canceled when the vehicle is unlocked using the key, 
remote transmitter, smart entry system, or th e power mode is set to ON. The security 
system alarm indicator goe s off at the same time.
1Security System Alarm
Do not set the security system alarm when someone 
is in the vehicle or a window  is open. The system can 
accidentally activate when:
•Unlocking the door with the lock tab.•Opening the trunk with the trunk release or the 
emergency trunk opener. 
•Opening the hood with the hood release.•Moving the shift lever out of ( P.
If the battery goes dead after you have set the 
security system alarm, the security alarm may go off 
once the battery is re charged or replaced.
If this occurs, deactivate the security system alarm by 
unlocking a door using the ke y, remote transmitter, 
or smart entry system.
