Apple CarPlay
If you connect an Apple CarPlay-compatible iPhone to the system via the front USB,
you can use the audio/information screen, instead of the iPhone display, to make a
phone call, listen to musi c, view maps (navigation), and access messages.

Only iPhone 5 or newer versi ons with iOS 8.4 or later
are compatible with Apple CarPlay.
Park in a safe place before connecting your iPhone to
Apple CarPlay and when launching any compatible
apps.
To use Apple CarPlay, connect the USB cable to the
front USB port. The USB por t located in the center
console storage will not enable Apple CarPlay
operation.

To directly access the Appl e CarPlay phone function,
select Phone on the home screen. While connected
to Apple CarPlay, calls are only made through Apple
CarPlay. If you want to make a call with
HandsFreeLink, turn Apple CarPlay OFF or detach the

When your iPhone is connected to Apple CarPlay, it is
not possible to use the Bluetooth® Audio or
Bluetooth ® HandsFreeLink ®. However, other
previously paired phones can stream audio via

Display Apple Maps and use the navigation function just as you would on your
iPhone.
Only one navigation system (pre-installed navigation or Apple CarPlay) can give
directions at a time. When you are using one system, directions to any prior
destination set on the other system will be canceled, and the system you are
currently using will direct you to your destination.
After you have connected your iPhone to the system via the front USB, use the
following procedure to set up Apple CarPlay. Use of Apple CarPlay will result in the
transmission of certain user and vehicle information (such as vehicle location, speed,
and status) to your iPhone to enhance the Apple CarPlay experience. You will need
to consent to the sharing of this in formation on the audio/information screen.
■Enabling Apple CarPlay
Enable Once: Allows only once. (Prompt
shows again next time.)
Always Enable: Allows anytime. (Prompt
does not show again.)
Cancel : Does not allow this consent.
You may change the consent settings under

Android Auto
When you connect an Android phone to the audio system via the front USB,
Android Auto is automatically initiated. When connected via Android Auto, you can
use the audio/information screen to access the Phone, Google Maps (Navigation),
Google Play Music, and Google Now functions. When you first use Android Auto, a
tutorial will appear on the screen.
We recommend that you complete this tuto rial while safely parked before using
Android Auto.

Android Auto app from Google Play to your

Only Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later versions are
compatible with Android Auto.

L. Changes to the SOFTWARE or SERVICES. WE may change, modify, or update the SOFT WARE or SERVICES from time to time. Unless
explicitly stated otherwis e, any new features or services that augment or en hance the SOFTWARE or SERVICES in the future shall
respectively be considered part of the SOFT WARE or SERVICES and subject to this AGREEMENT. WE reserve the right at any time and from
time to time to interrupt, restrict, modi fy, suspend, discontinue, temporarily or pe rmanently, the SOFTWARE or SERVICES (or any portion
thereof), with or without notice to you, and you agree that HONDA shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modi fication,
suspension or discontinuance of the SOFTWARE or SERVICES.
M. ARBITRATION:
PLEASE READ THIS ARBITRATION PROVISION CAREFULLY TO UNDE RSTAND YOUR RIGHTS. YOU AGREE THAT ANY CLAIM THAT YOU
MAY HAVE IN THE FUTURE MUST BE RESOLVED THROUGH BINDING ARBITRATION. YOU WAIVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE YOUR DISPUTE
HEARD IN COURT AND WAIVE THE RIGHT TO BRING CLASS CLAIMS . YOU UNDERSTAND THAT DISCOVERY AND APPEAL RIGHTS ARE
MORE LIMITED IN ARBITRATION.
Arbitration is a method of resolving a claim, dispute or contro versy without filing a lawsuit. By agreeing to arbitrate, the right to go to
court is waived and instead clai ms, disputes or controversies are submitted to bi nding arbitration. This provision sets forth the terms and
conditions of our agreement. YOU and HONDA agree and acknowledg e that this Agreement affects interstate commerce and the
Federal Arbitration Act (“FAA”) applies. By us ing the Software, Vehicle, or Services, YOU elect to have disputes resolved by arbitration.
YOU, HONDA or any invo lved third party may pursue a Claim. “Claim” means any dispute between YOU, HONDA, or any involved third
party relating to your use of the Software , the Vehicle, or the Services, this Agreement, or our relationship, including any
representations, omissions or warranties. “Claim” does not include personal injury or wrongful death claims. YOU or HONDA may s eek
remedies in small claims court or provisional judicial remedi es without arbitrating. In addition, notwithstanding anything here in to the
contrary, YOU or HONDA may seek equitable relie f in a court of competent jurisdiction.
YOU or HONDA may select arbitration with American Arbitration Asso ciation, JAMS or National Arbitration and Mediation. Contact
these sponsors for their rules. The hearing will be in the federal district where YOU reside. If agreed, it may be by telephone or written
submissions. Filing and arbitrator fees to be paid per the sponsor rules. You may contact the sponsor for a fee waiver. If no f ee waivers,
HONDA will pay filing and arbitrator fees up to $5,000, unless la w requires more. Each party is responsible for other fees. Arbitrator
may award costs or fees to pr evailing party, if permitted by law. HONDA will not seek fees, unless the claims are frivolous.
