12 Volt DC Power Point
WARNINGS
Do not plug optional electricalaccessories into the cigar lightersocket. Incorrect use of the cigarlighter can cause damage not covered bythe vehicle warranty, and can result in fireor serious injury.
Do not use a power point foroperating a cigar lighter. Incorrectuse of the power points can causedamage not covered by the vehiclewarranty, and can result in fire or seriousinjury.
Note:When you switch the ignition on, youcan use the socket to power 12 voltappliances with a maximum current ratingof 20 amps.
Note:Do not plug in any device thatsupplies power to the vehicle through thepower points, this may result in damage tovehicle systems.
Note:Do not hang any accessory from theaccessory plug.
Note:Do not use the power point over thevehicle capacity of 12 volt DC 240 watts ora fuse may blow.
Note:Always keep the power point capsclosed when not in use.
Do not insert objects other than anaccessory plug into the power point. Thiswill damage the power point and blow thefuse.
Run the vehicle for full capacity use of thepower point.
To prevent the battery from running out ofcharge:
•Do not use the power point longer thannecessary when the vehicle is notrunning.
•Do not leave devices plugged inovernight or when you park your vehiclefor extended periods.
Locations
Power points may be in the followinglocations:
•On the instrument panel.
•Inside the center console.
•On the rear of the center console.
•Inside the front under-seat storagecompartment.
Note:Timed power points remain on for 30minutes if the vehicle is in accessory mode.If you switch the vehicle off, the timedpower points remain on for 75 minutes.
110 Volt - 400 Watt Capacity ACPower Outlet
WARNING
Do not keep electrical devicesplugged in the power point wheneverthe device is not in use. Do not useany extension cord with the 110 volt ACpower point, since it will defeat the safetyprotection design. Doing so may cause thepower point to overload due to poweringmultiple devices that can reach beyondthe 400 watt load limit and could result infire or serious injury.

Auxiliary Power Points

When the indicator light on the power pointis:
•On: The power point is working, theignition is on and a device is pluggedin.
•Off: The power point is off, the ignitionis off or no device is plugged in.
•Flashing: The power point is in faultmode.
The power outlet temporarily turns offpower when in fault mode if the deviceexceeds the 400 watt limit. Unplug yourdevice and switch the ignition off. Switchthe ignition back on, but do not plug yourdevice back in. Let the system cool off andswitch the ignition off to reset the faultmode. Switch the ignition back on andmake sure the indicator light remains on.
You can use the 400 watt power outlet forthese types of electric devices:
•Electric hand drills.
•Rechargeable power tools.
•Video games.
•Laptops.
•Televisions.
Do not use the power point for certainelectric devices, including:
•Cathode-ray, tube-type televisions.
•Motor loads, such as vacuum cleaners,electric saws and other electric powertools or compressor-drivenrefrigerators.
•Measuring devices, which processprecise data, such as medicalequipment or measuring equipment.
•Other appliances requiring anextremely stable power supply such asmicrocomputer-controlled electricblankets or touch-sensor lamps.
Note:This feature works only when thevehicle is running.
Note:This feature has a maximum outputof 400 watts when the vehicle is in park (P).
Note:While in drive (D), the maximumoutlet output is 300 watts.
Note: When powering electric devices thatrequire more than 10 watts in vehiclesequipped with keyless start, the vehiclemust remain running. It does not allow youto switch the ignition off or switch theignition to accessory mode.

9. Start your vehicle.
Perform Steps 4 through 8 in reverse order,making sure to engage the hinge pivotsbetween the upper and lower halves of theshroud. Keep slight pressure in the forwarddirection as you rotate the halves together.
If Your Vehicle Gets Stuck In Mudor Snow
Note:Do not rock your vehicle if the engineis not at normal operating temperature ordamage to the transmission may occur.
Note:Do not rock your vehicle for morethan a minute or damage to thetransmission and tires may occur, or theengine may overheat.
If your vehicle is stuck in mud or snow, youmay rock it out by shifting between forwardand reverse gears, stopping between shiftsin a steady pattern. Press lightly on theaccelerator in each gear.
POWER TAKE-OFF
WARNING
Use of auxiliary equipment thatexceeds the maximum PowerTake-Off (PTO) load specified in theFord Truck Body Builders Layout Book canadversely affect the performance of thepowertrain system. Refer to the BodyBuilders Layout Book for instructions aboutthe appropriate installation of additionalequipment.
Auxiliary equipment called power take-off,or PTO, is often added to the engine ortransmission to operate utility equipment.Examples include a wheel-lift for towtrucks, cranes, tools for construction or tireservice, and pumping fluids. PTOapplications draw auxiliary horsepowerfrom the powertrain, often while thevehicle is stationary. In this condition, thereis limited cooling air flow through theradiator and around the vehicle thatnormally occurs when a vehicle is moving.The aftermarket PTO system installer,having the most knowledge of the finalapplication, is responsible for determiningwhether additional chassis heat protectionor powertrain cooling is required, andalerting the user to the safe and properoperation.

The following camera views can beaccessed in park (P), neutral (N) or drive(D) when you press the camera button:
•Front 360 + Normal: Contains thenormal front camera view next to a360 degree camera view.
•Front Normal View: Provides animage of what is directly in front of yourvehicle.
•Front Split View: Provides anextended view of what is in front ofyour vehicle by using the front and sidecameras.
The following camera views can beaccessed when you shift into reverse (R):
•Rear 360 + Normal: Contains thenormal rear camera view next to a 360degree camera view. Press the zoom(+) button to quickly access RearNormal View from this screen.
•Rear Normal View: Provides an imageof what is directly behind your vehicle.
•Rear Split View: Provides anextended view of what is behind yourvehicle by using the rear and sidecameras.
•Rear High View: Provides an imageof your truck bed and can be used toassist you when backing up to align andhitch a fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer.
•Auxiliary View: Provides a rear viewimage from the back of your trailerwhile reversing.
•Trailer Reverse Guidance View:Provides an image of the rear of yourvehicle using the side cameras, usefulwhen reversing with a trailer. Use thearrows at the bottom of the screen toadjust the side camera position.
Keep Out Zone
The Keep Out Zone is represented by theyellow dotted lines running parallel to yourvehicle. It is designed to give you theindication on the ground of the fullyextended outside mirror position.
Front Camera
WARNING
The front camera system stillrequires the driver to use it inconjunction with looking out of yourvehicle.

Auxiliary Camera (If Equipped)
Note:The auxiliary camera works withtrailers up to 50 ft (15 m) in length.
Access the auxiliary camera viewby pressing the button on thedisplay screen when in reverse(R).
The auxiliary camera system is a variantof the rear view camera, comprised of acamera with a built in amplifier. It isdesigned to display a rear view image fromthe back of a trailer while reversing. Theauxiliary camera is not meant as analternative to the rear view camera.
