Your E-MEHARI is an electric vehicle
that uses direct current at high voltage.
Failing to observe the handling
instructions can cause serious or fatal
injuries.
Ensure that you read and follow the
charging procedures recommended by
CITROËN.

to E-MEHARI
It is recommended that the battery be charged
as often as possible.
With the charge indicator at 100%, if not
charged the LMP
® battery can discharge in
2 d
ays (without using the vehicle).
A hibernation mode is available to reduce
energy consumption from the battery to a
minimum.
In this way you can park your E-MEHARI,
not connected and with no consumption of
electrical energy, for several weeks or even
several months.

At a public or private
charging point
You can charge your E-MEHARI at a public or
private charging point, provided that you have a
suitable cable for the type of charging point.
At home
Using a 16A power point
If you have a 16A charging power point or have
had one installed by an electrician, you can use
it to charge your E-MEHARI.
Using an ordinary domestic
power point (230V/10 -16A)
Your E-MEHARI is supplied with a charging
cable that has CCID electronic protection,
allowing you to charge your E-MEHARI from
any 230V/16A domestic power point that can
support a continuous current of 10A.
Using this solution the charging time is longer
than if charged from a 16A power point.

When charging the vehicle, particularly
at the roadside, be especially careful of
children when handling the cable and
the charging point.
The cable reel can operate sharply and
cause injury.
Children could trap their fingers in the

the LEDs come on for ½ second to verify that
they are working, it is possible that the charging
cable is damaged. Stop using it immediately and
contact CITRÖEN ASSISTANCE.

Coming out of hibernation mode
Do not connect the vehicle before step
5 and carry out each step in order.
1.
Po
sition the hibernation key in the switch.
Turn it to the left. 2. Ch

asks you to turn the key.
3.
Tu

vehicle wakes up.
4.
Sw

Check for the rapid flashing of the green LED,
confirming that the battery is charging.
Leave your vehicle on charge for the period
displayed so that it is 100% operational. Never disconnect the charging cable
while the green LED is flashing rapidly
(a minimum of 4
h
ours).
You have to be in possession of the
charging cable and be able to connect
your vehicle to a power supply to
be able to wake the vehicle from
hibernation.
Wait a few seconds. The hazard warning lamps
flash several times and the boot locks and
unlocks.
