Lane Departure
Warning (LDW)
If equipped, LDW may help avoidunintentional lane departures atspeeds of 56 km/h (35 mph) orgreater. LDW uses a camera sensorto detect the lane markings. The

marking is detected. If the vehicledeparts the lane without using a turnsignal in that direction, the light willchange to amber and flash. Inaddition, beeps will sound.

Alert (SBZA)

Camera (RVC)

Parking Assist

The vehicle may also be equippedwith Front Parking Assist.

Parking Assist
With Rear Parking Assist, and ifequipped with Front Parking Assist,as the vehicle moves at speeds ofless than 8 km/h (5 mph) thesensors on the bumpers may detectobjects up to 2.5 m (8 ft) behind and1.2 m (4 ft) in front of the vehiclewithin a zone 25 cm (10 in) high offthe ground and below bumper level.After exceeding 8 km/h (5 mph),Front Parking Assist may beautomatically turned off. When thisoccurs, press the PA button to turnthe system back on.
Detection distances may be shorterduring warmer or humid weather.Blocked sensors will not detectobjects and can also cause falsedetections. Keep the sensors clean

not detect children, pedestrians,
bicyclists, animals, or objects
located below the bumper or that
are too close or too far from the
vehicle. It is not available at

(5 mph). To prevent injury, death,
or vehicle damage, even with
Parking Assist, always check the
area around the vehicle and
check all mirrors before moving
forward or backing.
An obstacle is indicated by audiblebeeps. The interval between thebeeps becomes shorter as thevehicle gets closer to the obstacle.When the distance is less than 30cm (12 in) the beeping is acontinuous tone for three seconds.
Beeps for Front Parking Assist arehigher pitched than for Rear ParkingAssist.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
If equipped, RCTA shows a redwarning triangle with a left or rightpointing arrow on the infotainmentdisplay to warn of traffic comingfrom the left or right. This systemdetects objects coming from up to20 m (65 ft) from the left or right sidebehind the vehicle. When an objectis detected beeps sound from theleft or right side, depending on thedirection of the detected vehicle.
Turning the Features On or Off
PressXon the center console to
turn on or off the Front and RearParking Assist. The indicator lightnext to the button comes on whenthe features are on and turns offwhen the features have beendisabled. The system is on eachtime the vehicle is started.
The Rear Vision Camera (RVC),parking assist symbols, guidancelines, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert(RCTA) (if equipped) can be turnedon or off through vehiclepersonalization. SeeVehiclePersonalization0120.

TPMS Sensor Matching
Process
Each TPMS sensor has a uniqueidentification code. The identificationcode needs to be matched to a newtire/wheel position after rotating thevehicle’stiresorreplacingoneormore of the TPMS sensors. Also,the TPMS sensor matching processshould be performed after replacingasparetirewitharoadtirecontaining the TPMS sensor. Themalfunction light and the DICmessage, if equipped, should go offat the next ignition cycle. Thesensors are matched to the tire/wheel positions, using a TPMSrelearn tool, in the following order:left front tire, right front tire, rightrear tire, and left rear tire. There are two minutes to match thefirst tire/wheel position, andfive minutes overall to match all fourtire/wheel positions. If it takeslonger, the matching process stopsand must be restarted.
The TPMS sensor matchingprocess is:
1. Set the parking brake.
2. Place the vehicle power modein ON/RUN/START. SeeIgnition Positions0229.
3. Press MENU to select theVehicle Information Menu inthe Driver InformationCenter (DIC).
4. Use the thumbwheel to scroll tothe Tire Pressure Menu Itemscreen.
5. Press and hold SET/CLR tobegin the sensor matchingprocess.
Amessagerequestingacceptance of the process maydisplay.
6. If requested, press SET/CLRagain to confirm the selection.
The horn sounds twice tosignal the receiver is in relearnmode and the TIRE LEARN orTIRE LEARNING ACTIVEmessage displays on the DICscreen.
7. Start with the left front tire.
8. Place the relearn tool againstthe tire sidewall, near the valvestem. Then press the button toactivate the TPMS sensor.Ahornchirpconfirmsthatthesensor identification code hasbeen matched to this tire andwheel position.
9. Proceed to the right front tire,and repeat the procedure inStep 8.
10. Proceed to the right rear tire,and repeat the procedure inStep 8.
