Personalization Menus
The following list of menu items may
be available:

Each menu is detailed in the
following information.
Time and Date
Manually set the time and date. See
Clock 096.
Driving Mode
Select and the following may
display:
.
Engine Sound Management
. Steering
Engine Sound Management
This allows the Engine Sound
Management feature to be set
independent of the driver mode
selector. See Track Events and
Competitive Driving 0164.
Select Auto (Mode Selector) or
Stealth, Tour, Sport, or Track.
Steering
This allows the Steering feature to
be turned on or off.
Select Auto (Mode Selector), Tour,
Sport, or Track.
Language (Language)
Select Language, then select from
the available language(s).
The selected language will display
on the system, and voice
recognition will reflect the selected
language.
Valet Mode (If Equipped)
This will lock the infotainment
system and steering wheel controls.
It may also limit access to vehicle
storage locations (if equipped).
To enable Valet Mode:
1. Enter a four-digit code on the keypad.
2. Select Enter to go to the confirmation screen.
3. Re-enter the four-digit code.
Press LOCK or UNLOCK to lock or
unlock the system. Press Back to go
back to the previous menu.
Radio
Press and the following may
display:
. Manage Favorites
. Number of Favorites Shown
. Audible Touch Feedback
. Bose Audio Pilot
. Maximum Start Up Volume

Device Management
Select to connect to a different
phone source, disconnect a phone,
or delete a phone.
Ringtones
Press to change the ring tone for
the specific phone. The phone does
not need to be connected to change
the ring.
Voice Mail Numbers
This feature displays the voice mail
number for all connected phones.
To change the voice mail number,
select EDIT or press the EDIT
button. Type a new number, then
select SAVE or press the SAVE
button.
Apple CarPlay™
Select and the following may
display:

. Manage Apple CarPlay Devices Apple CarPlay
This feature allows Apple devices to
be connected to the infotainment
system through a USB port. See
“Apple CarPlay and Android Auto”
under
“Phone” in the infotainment
manual.
Select Off or On.
Manage Apple CarPlay Devices
Select to manage Apple devices.
Apple CarPlay must be on for this
feature to be accessed. See “Apple
CarPlay and Android Auto” under
“Phone” in the infotainment manual.
Android Auto™
Select and the following may
display:

Android Auto
This feature allows Android devices
to be connected to the infotainment
system through a USB port. See
“Apple CarPlay and Android Auto”
under “Phone” in the infotainment
manual. Select Off or On.
Manage Android Auto Devices
Select to manage Android devices.
Android Auto must be on for this
feature to be accessed. See

Voice
Select and the following may

This feature allows the adjustment
of the sensitivity of the speech
recognition system.
Select Confirm More or
Confirm Less.
Prompt Length
This feature adjusts the voice
prompt length.

After initial set-up, your vehicles’ s
Wi-Fi hotspot will connect
automatically to your mobile
devices. Manage data usage by
turning Wi-Fi on or off on your
mobile device, using the
RemoteLink mobil app, or by
contacting an OnStar Advisor.
OnStar RemoteLink
®Mobile App
(If Equipped)
Download the OnStar RemoteLink
mobile app to select Apple
®iOS,
Android™, BlackBerry®,
or Windows®mobile devices.
OnStar Subscribers can access the
following services from a mobile
device:
. Remotely start/stop the vehicle,
if factory-equipped.
. Lock/unlock doors, if equipped
with automatic locks. .
Activate the horn and lamps
. Check the vehicles’s fuel level,
oil life, or tire pressure,
if factory-equipped with the Tire
Pressure Monitor System.
. Send directions to the vehicle.
. Locate the vehicle on a map
(U.S. market only).
. Turn the vehicle’ s Wi-Fi hotspot
on/off, manage settings, and
monitor data consumption,
if equipped.

Remote Services
Contact an OnStar Advisor to
unlock the doors or sound the horn
and flash the lamps.
OnStar AtYourService
OnStar Advisors can provide offers
from restaurants and retailers on
your route, help locate hotels,
or book a room. These services
vary by market.
OnStar Hands-Free Calling
Make and receive calls with the
built-in wireless calling service
which requires available minutes.
To Make a Call
1. Press
Q. System responds:
“OnStar ready.”
2. Say “Call.”System responds:
“Call. Please say the name or
number to call.”
3. Say the entire number without pausing, including a “1”and the
area code. System responds:
“OK, calling.”
Calling 911 Emergency
1. PressQ. System responds:
“OnStar ready.”
2. Say “Call.”System responds:
“Call. Please say the name or
number to call.”
3. Say “911”without pausing.
System responds: “911.”
4. Say “Call.”System responds:
“OK, dialing 911.”
