flashes red in the tachometer.k for front passenger seat illuminates

After the ignition has been switched on, until the seat belt has been
fastened.

After having started the engine for a
maximum of 100 seconds, until the
seat belt has been fastened.

flashes or illuminates.

After having started the engine for a
minimum of 35 seconds, until the seat
belt has been fastened.
Also illuminates if an unfastened seat belt is fastened whilst driving.

unfastened.

Airbag and belt tensioners v illuminates red.
When the ignition is switched on, the control indicator illuminates for
approx. four seconds. If it does not
illuminate, does not go out after
four seconds or illuminates whilst driving, there is a fault in the airbag
system. Seek the assistance of a
workshop. The airbags and belt
pretensioners may fail to trigger in the event of an accident.

located in the instrument cluster.
Depending on the version and
equipment, the Driver Information
Centre is available as Baselevel
display, Midlevel display or Uplevel
display.
Following menus are selectable in the
Driver Information Centre using the
buttons on the turn signal lever:

Baselevel-Display
Select submenus by turning the
adjuster wheel on turn signal lever. Selectable submenus are:
● engine oil life indication
● tyre pressure indication
● tyre loading
● unit setting
● language setting, if no Infotainment system is available
●clock, if no Infotainment system is
available
● outside temperature, if no Infotainment system is available

Midlevel display
The menu pages of the Midlevel
display are selected by pressing
MENU on the turn signal lever.

Selecting menus and functions The menus and functions can be
selected via the buttons on the turn
signal lever.
Press MENU to switch between the
main menus or to return from a
submenu to the next higher menu
level.
Turn the adjuster wheel to select a
submenu of the main menu or to set
a numeric value.
Press SET/CLR to select and confirm
a function.
Vehicle and service messages are
popped-up in the Driver Information
Centre if required. Confirm messages by pressing SET/CLR. Vehicle

Press CONFIG : Menu page Settings
is displayed.
Turn knob MENU-TUNE to select a
setting or value.
Press knob MENU-TUNE to confirm
a setting or value.
Press BACK to exit a menu or setting
without changing or delete the last
character in a character sequence.
Press the button for a few seconds to
delete the entire entry.
To exit the Settings menu, press
BACK in steps or press CONFIG after
confirming the changes.

● Check fuel level, engine oil life and tyre pressure (only with tyre
pressure monitoring system).
● Send navigation destination to the vehicle, if equipped with a
built-in navigation system.
● Locate vehicle on a map.
● Manage Wi-Fi settings.
To operate these functions, download the app from the respective app store.
Remote service
If desired, use any phone to call an
OnStar advisor, who can remotely
operate specific vehicle functions.

The following functions are available: ● Lock or unlock doors.
● Provide information on the vehicle location.
● Honk horn or flash lights.Stolen vehicle assistance
If a vehicle is stolen, the OnStar
stolen vehicle assistance service can
provide support in locating and
recovering the vehicle.Theft alert
When the anti-theft alarm system is
triggered, a notification is sent to
OnStar. You are then informed about
this event by text message or email.
If required, report the theft to the
authorities and request OnStar stolen
vehicle assistance. Use any phone to call an OnStar advisor. Find the
respective OnStar phone number on
our country-specific website.Remote ignition block
By sending remote signals, OnStar
can block the ignition cycle
preventing the vehicle from restarting once it has been turned off.
On-demand diagnostics
At any time e.g. if the vehicle displays a service message, press Z to
contact an OnStar advisor and ask to
complete a real-time diagnostic check
to directly determine the issue.
Depending on the results, the advisor
will provide further support.
Monthly vehicle diagnostics
The vehicle automatically transmits
diagnostic data to OnStar which
sends a monthly email report to you
and your preferred workshop.
Notice
The workshop notification function
can be disabled in your account.
The report contains the status of key
operating systems of the vehicle like
engine, transmission, airbags,
antilock brakes, and other major
systems. It also provides information
on possible maintenance items and
tyre pressure (only with tyre pressure monitoring system).
To look at the information in greater
detail, select the link within the email and log into your account.

A desired destination can be directly
downloaded to the navigation system.

118LightingThe high beam assist is activated by
pushing the indicator lever twice at a
speed above 25 mph.
The green control indicator l
illuminates continuously when the
assist is activated, the blue one 7
illuminates when high beam is on.

Deactivation
Push indicator lever once. It is also
deactivated when front fog lights are
switched on.
If a headlight flash is activated when
the high beam is on, the high beam
assist will be deactivated.
If a headlight flash is activated when
the high beam is off, the high beam
assist will remain activated.
The latest setting of the high beam
assist will remain after the ignition is
switched on again.Corner lighting
On tight bends or when turning off,
depending on the steering angle or
the indicator light signal, an additional left or right reflector is switched on
which illuminates the road in the
direction of travel. It is activated up to
a speed of 25 mph.
Reversing function If the low beam is on and reverse gear is engaged, both corner lights are
switched on. They remain illuminated
for 20 seconds after disengaging reverse gear.
Hazard warning flashers
Operated by pressing ¨.
In the event of an accident with airbag
deployment, the hazard warning
flashers are activated automatically.
