Right turn
Lane change to the right (move
the lever partway and release

The right hand signals will flash 3

Left turn
■Turn signals can be operated when
The power switch is in ON mode.
■ If the indicator flashes faster than usual
Check that a light bulb in the front or rear turn signal lights has not burned
out.
■ If the turn signals stop flashing before a lane change has been per-
formed
Operate the lever again.
■ To discontinue flashing of the turn signals during a lane change
Operate the lever in the opposite direction.
■ Customization
The setting of the turn signals flash during a lane change can be changed.

Maintenance and care
Light bulbs
Check the wattage of the light bulb to be replaced. (P. 602)

Front side marker light
Fog light
Headlight/daytime running lights (halogen headlights)
Front turn signal light/parking light (halogen headlights) or front turn
signal light (LED headlights)
You may replace the following bulbs by yourself. The difficulty
level of replacement varies de pending on the bulb. If necessary
bulb replacement seems difficul t to perform, contact your
Toyota dealer.
For more information about repl acing other light bulbs, contact
your Toyota dealer.

Remove the light bulb.
When installing, reverse the steps listed.

■Stop/tail lights, rear side marker lights (bulb type) and rear turn
signal lights
Open the back door and
remove the bolts, and
remove the lamp assembly
by pulling it directly backward
from the rear of the vehicle.
Turn the bulb base counterclockwise.
Remove the light bulb.
When installing, reverse the steps listed.

■Replacing the following bulbs
If any of the lights listed below has burnt out, have it replaced by
your Toyota dealer.
● Headlights (LED headlights)
● Parking lights/daytime running lights (LED headlights)
● Side turn signal lights
● Stop/tail lights (LED type)
● Tail lights (LED type)
● Rear side marker lights (LED type)
● High mounted stoplight
■LED Lights
The headlights (LED headlights), parking lights/daytime running lights (LED
headlights), side turn signal lights (if equipped), stop/tail lights (LED type), tail
lights (LED type), rear side marker lights (LED type) and high mounted stop-
light consist of a number of LEDs. If any of the LEDs burn out, take your vehi-
cle to your Toyota dealer to have the light replaced.
■ Condensation build-up on the inside of the lens
Temporary condensation build-up on the inside of the headlight lens does not
indicate a malfunction.
Contact your Toyota dealer for more information in the following situations:
●Large drops of water have built up on the inside of the lens.
● Water has built up inside the headlight.
