TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (1/3)
If the vehicle is equipped with the func-
tion, this system monitors the tyre pres-
sure.
Operating principle
Each wheel (except for the emergency
spare wheel) has a sensor in the infla-
tion valve which periodically measures
the tyre pressure.
The system displays the current pres-
sures on the instrument panel 1 and
alerts the driver in the event of insuffi-
cient pressure.
Resetting the standard level
for the tyre pressures
This should be done:
– when the standard tyre pressure needs to be changed to adapt to
usage conditions (empty, carrying a
load, motorway driving, etc.);
– after swapping a wheel (however this practice is not recommended);
– after changing a wheel.
It should always be done after checking
the tyre pressure of all four tyres when
cold.
Tyre pressures must correspond to the
current usage of the vehicle (empty,
carrying a load, motorway driving, etc.).

Resetting procedure
With the ignition on:
– repeatedly and briefly press con- trol 2 to select the tyre pressure dis-
play and the “Tyre pressure” func-
tion;
– press and hold (around 3 seconds) the button 2 to launch the reset. The
flashing tyres followed by the mes-
sages “Learning TP initiated” and
then “Tyres location in progress” in-
dicates that the reset request for the
tyre pressure reference value has
been acknowledged.
Reset can take several minutes of driv-
ing.
If the resetting is followed by short
trips, the message “Tyres location in
progress” can remain displayed after
successive restarts.
Note
The standard tyre pressure cannot be
less than that recommended and indi-
cated on the door frame.

Resetting can also be done from the
multifunction screen 3. Select the
menu “Vehicle”, “Tyre pressure”.

Conditions for non-activation of the
system
The system cannot be activated:
– when the gear lever is in neutral;
– when the parking brake is activated;
– while cornering.
Activating or deactivating the
system
From the multifunction screen 3, select
menu “Vehicle”, “Driving assistance”,
“Active braking” then choose “ON” or
“OFF”.
Warning light
 is displayed on the
instrument panel when the system is
deactivated.
This system is reactivated each time
the ignition is switched on.

You can access the “Driving as-
sistance” menu directly from the
button 4

Operating faults
When the system detects an operating
fault, the
 warning light lights up
on the instrument panel, with the mes-
sage “Active braking disconnected”.
There are two possibilities:
– The system is temporarily experien- cing difficulties (for example: sensor
obscured by dirt, mud, snow, etc.)
in this case, park the vehicle and
switch off the engine. Clean the de-
tection zone of the radar. When you
next start the engine, the warning
light and the message go out;
– If this is not the case, this may arise from another cause; contact an
Approved Dealer.3

To engage neutral
With the vehicle at a standstill, engine
running, depress the brake pedal and
move the selector 3 to the left:
– hold in place for about a second until a white N is displayed on the instru-
ment panel, then release;
or
– release immediately.
Note: If the current gear is R or D, it
is not necessary to depress the brake
pedal to engage position N.
AUTOMATIC GEARBOX (2/6)
To engage position P
(button 2)
With the vehicle at a standstill, engine
running or ignition on, press button 2 to
engage position P. The warning light for
button 2 lights up orange once the Park
position on the gearbox is engaged.

Check that warning light P
on the instrument panel and
the warning light integrated
on the button 2 are acti-
vated before leaving the vehicle.
Risk of loss of immobilisation of the
vehicle
To disengage position P
(button 2)
With the vehicle at a standstill, engine
running, depress the brake pedal and
move the selector to the desired posi-
tion R, N or D.
If the brake pedal is not fully depressed,
the message “Push brake pedal” the
warning light
 are displayed on the
instrument panel.
When position R or D is disengaged,
N is displayed on the instrument panel
and the warning light on button 2 goes
out.
Note:
– If the driver opens their door to leave the vehicle while position P has not
been engaged, a beep sounds and
the message “P not engaged” is dis-
played on the instrument panel.
– Warning light
 comes on each
time it is necessary to depress the
brake pedal to change the position
of the automatic gearbox.
In the event of the mes-
sage “Check auto gearbox”,
“Automatic gearbox posi-
tion P defective” or “Electric
failure DANGER”, or in the event of
a battery fault, immobilise the ve-
hicle using the electronic parking
brake.

Special cases
As position P is automatically en-
gaged when the engine is stopped, it is
sometimes necessary to place the vehi-
cle in position N for some car washes,
for example.
Position N can be engaged before
opening the driver’s door, and a maxi-
mum of around 25 seconds after the
engine is stopped.
After this time or after opening the
driver’s door, it will be necessary to turn
on the ignition again to disengage posi-
tion P.
In the event of a loss of in-
formation on the instrument
panel, stop and immobilise
the vehicle using the elec-
tronic parking brake or button P.
Special cases
In certain driving cases (eg: protect-
ing the engine), a gear change can be
performed automatically in the event of
over-revving or approaching under-rev-
ving. Permanent manual mode remains
activated. Similarly, to avoid making the
"wrong move", a gear change may be
refused by the gearbox. In this case,
the display for the requested gear + or –
flashes for a few seconds to warn you.
Parking the vehicleUpon stopping the engine by press-
ing the engine stop button, position P
is automatically engaged, along with
the electronic parking brake for vehi-
cles equipped with this device. P is dis-
played on the instrument panel and the
warning light on button P comes on.
Never leave the vehicle with
the engine running without
previously engaging the
Park position P.
With the engine running, the automatic
gearbox in D or R or N or M and with-
out your foot on the brake, messages
“P not engaged” and “Select P” are dis-
played on the instrument panel as soon
as the driver’s door is open.
With the engine stopped, the automatic
gearbox in N (neutral), the message “P
not engaged” is displayed on the instru-
ment panel.
Special feature related to the Stop and Start function: if you are going\
to unfasten the driver's seat belt before the
engine goes into standby due to the Stop and Start function, make sure t\
he gearbox is in position P. The P warning
light will light up on the instrument panel to confirm this. Risk of loss of immobilisation.

These systems operate:
– with the engine running;
– with the ignition off until one of the front doors is opened (limited to ap-
proximately 12 minutes).
– with the engine off, front doors closed, after pressing the start
button.
Press the window switch down or pull it
up to lower or raise the window to the
desired height: the rear windows do not
open fully.
Safety of rear occupants
The driver can disable operation of the rear electric windows and doors \
by pressing switch 4. A confirmation message is displayed on the instru-
ment panel.
Driver’s responsibility
Never leave your vehicle with the RENAULT card or key inside, and never leave
a child, adult who is not self-sufficient or a pet, even for a short while. They may
pose a risk to themselves or to others by starting the engine or activat\
ing equip-
ment (such as the gear lever or electric windows). If any part of the \
body becomes
trapped, reverse the direction of the window immediately by pressing the\
relevant
switch.
Risk of serious injury.
Avoid resting any objects against
a half-open window: there is a risk
that the electric window could be
damaged.
From the driver’s seat, use switch:
1 for the driver’s side;
2 for the front passenger side;
3 and 5 for the rear passenger win-
dows.
From the passenger seats, use
switch 6.

ELECTRIC SUNROOF (1/3)
To slide the curtain 1
With the ignition on:
– Full opening: move marker 3 on
button 2 to position A. The points in
between correspond to the progres-
sive opening positions of the curtain;
– to close: move mark 3 on button 2
to position 0.
To slide the sunroof
With the ignition on:
– to open: move mark 3 on button 2
to position B, depending how far
you wish it to open. The points in
between correspond to the progres-
sive opening positions;
– To close: move the marker 3 on
button 2 to position A.

Moving the position 0 directly to po-
sition B causes the simultaneous
opening of the curtain and the roof.
Driver’s responsibility
Never leave your vehicle
with the RENAULT card or
key inside, and never leave
a child, adult who is not self-suffi-
cient or a pet, even for a short while.
The reason for this is that the child
may endanger itself or others by
starting the engine, activating
equipment such as the sunroof for
example, or locking the doors.
If something gets trapped, reverse
the direction of travel as soon as
possible by turning button 2 fully to
the right (position B).
Risk of serious injury.
Special features
Pressing button 2 allows the curtain to
be automatically positioned depending
on the position of the sunroof.
Pressing button 2 when the roof and
the curtain are in the same opening po-
sition enables the curtain to be opened
fully.

Cigarette lighter 2
With the ignition on, push in the ciga-
rette lighter 2 - it will spring back with a
click when it is ready. Pull it out to use.
After use, replace it without pushing it
all the way in.

Accessories sockets
You can use the one of sockets 2.
They are provided for connecting ac-
cessories approved by our Technical
Department.

If your vehicle is not fitted with a
cigar lighter and an ashtray, these
can be obtained from an authorised
dealer.
Connect accessories with
a maximum power of
120 watts (12 V) only.
When several accessory
sockets are used at the same time,
the total power of the connected
accessories must not exceed
180 watts.
Fire hazard.

Heated seats
(depending on vehicle)
Side seats only
With the ignition on:
– Pressing the switch 3 on the requi-
red seat for the first time activates
the heating system on high. Both in-
tegrated switch warning lights come
on;
– pressing the switch for the second time changes the heating to low. One
integrated warning light comes on;
– pressing for the third time turns the heating off.
Operating faults
When an operating fault is detected,
the integrated warning lights on the
switch 3 for the seat concerned flash.
Consult an approved dealer.
For safety reasons, carry
out any adjustments when
the vehicle is stationary.
The rear seats are separate seats.
To move the seats forwards or
backwards
Lift lever 1 to unlock the seat. Once in
the desired position, release the lever
and check that the seat is correctly
locked.
To tilt the seatback
Lift handle 2 and tilt the seatback to the
desired position.
Release the handle 2 and ensure that
the seatback is fully locked into posi-
tion.
REAR SEATS (1/5)

To fold down the seats (flat-floor
position)
Lower the headrest 4 and lift the
handle 2 to fold down the seat. Make
sure the seat is correctly locked in po-
sition.
To raise the seat
Hold the seatback, lift it up and ensure
it is correctly locked in place.
