Under-inflation detection
This system automatically checks the pressures of
the tyres when driving and alerts you in the event of
under-inflation.
Exterior
Temporary puncture repair kit
This kit is a complete system consisting of a compressor and
a sealant cartridge, to allow the temporary repair of a tyre.
Rear parking sensors
This system provides a warning when manoeuvring
backwards by detecting obstacles located behind
the

vehicle.

Never select position N while the
vehicle is moving.
Never select positions P or R unless the
vehicle is completely stationary.
Automatic operation
Reverse
When selecting reverse R with the ignition on,
the rear parking sensors are activated.
For more information, refer to the "Rear parking
sensors" section.
Creep function (moving without
using the accelerator)
This function provides great flexibility in
manoeuvring the vehicle at low speed (when
parking, in traffic jams, …).
With the engine at idle, parking brake released
and position D, M or R selected, the vehicle
moves as soon as you take your foot off
the brake pedal (even without pressing the
accelerator).
F

Sel
ect position D for automatic
 changing
of the six gears.
The gearbox then operates in auto-adaptive
mode, without any intervention on the part
of the driver. It continuously selects the most
suitable gear according to the style of driving,
the profile of the road and the load in the
vehicle.
For maximum acceleration without touching
the selector, press the accelerator pedal down
fully (kick down). The gearbox changes down
automatically or maintains the gear selected
until the maximum engine speed is reached.
On braking, the gearbox changes down
automatically to provide efficient engine
braking.
As a safety measure, if you release the
accelerator sharply, the gearbox will not
change up. These two special programmes complete
the automatic operation, for use in particular
circumstances.
Sport and snow programmes
"S" sport programme
F Press the "
S" button, once the engine has
started.
The gearbox automatically allows a more
dynamic driving style.
T snow programme
F Press the " T" button, once the engine has
started.
The gearbox adapts itself to driving on slippery
roads.
This programme helps moving off and improves
traction when grip is poor.
At any time, press the button selected
again to leave the programme engaged
and return to auto-adaptative mode.S appears in the instrument panel.
T appears in the instrument panel.

This system indicates the proximity of an
obstacle (person, vehicle, tree, gate, etc.)
which comes within the field of detection of
sensors located in the bumper.
Certain types of obstacle (stake, roadworks
cone, etc.) detected initially will no longer be
detected at the end of the manoeuvre due to
the presence of blind spots.
Rear parking sensors
This function cannot, in any
circumstances, take the place of the need
for vigilance on the part of the driver. The system is switched on by engaging reverse
gear. This is accompanied by an audible signal.
The system is switched off when you come out
of reverse gear.
Audible assistance
The proximity information is given by an
intermittent audible signal, the frequency of
which increases as the vehicle approaches
the

obstacle.
The sound emitted by the speaker (right or left)
indicates the side on which the obstacle is located.
When the distance between the vehicle and
the obstacle becomes less than approximately
thirty centimetres, the audible signal becomes
continuous.
Visual assistance
This supplements the audible signal by
displaying bars in the screen which move
progressively nearer to the vehicle.
When the obstacle is very close, the "Danger"
symbol is displayed in the screen.

In bad weather or in winter, ensure
that the sensors are not covered with
mud, ice or snow. When reverse gear is
engaged, an audible signal (long beep)
indicates that the sensors may be dirty.
Certain sound sources (motorcycle,
lorry, pneumatic drill, etc.) may trigger
the audible signals of the parking
sensor system. In the event of a malfunction of
the system, when reverse gear
is engaged this warning lamp
is displayed in the instrument panel and/or a
message appears in the screen, accompanied
by an audible signal (short beep).
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Operating fault
The function will be deactivated
automatically if a trailer is being towed
or a bicycle carrier is fitted (vehicle
fitted with a towbar or bicycle carrier
recommended by PEUGEOT).
Deactivation / Activation of
the rear parking sensors
The function is deactivated or
activated via the vehicle configuration
menu.
The status of the function is stored
when the ignition is switched off.
For more information on access to the parking
sensors menu, refer to the "Personalisation
  -
Configuration" part of the "Instruments and
controls" section.

In good or rainy weather, both day
and night, the front foglamps and the
rear foglamp are prohibited. In these
situations, the power of their beams
may dazzle other drivers. They should
only be used in fog or snow.
In these weather conditions, it is your
responsibility to switch on the foglamps
and dipped beam headlamps manually
as the sunshine sensor may detect
sufficient light.
Do not forget to switch off the front
foglamps and the rear foglamp when
they are no longer necessary.Switching on the lamps
after the ignition is
switched off
To reactivate the lighting control, rotate
the ring to the "0" position - lamps off,
then to the desired position.
On opening the driver's door a
temporary audible signal warns the
driver that the lighting is on.
The lamps, with the exception of the
sidelamps, switch off automatically after
a maximum duration of thirty minutes to
prevent discharging of the battery.
Switching off the lamps
when the ignition is
switched off
On switching off the ignition, all of the
lamps turn off immediately, except for
dipped beam if guide-me-home lighting
is activated.

Under-inflation detection
The under-inflation detection system
does not replace the need for vigilance
on the part of the driver.
This system does not avoid the need to
check the tyre pressures (including the
spare wheel) every month as well as
before a long journey.
Driving with under-inflated tyres impairs
road holding, extends braking distances
and causes premature tyre wear,
particularly under arduous condition
(high loading, high speed, long journey). The inflation pressures defined for
your vehicle can be found on the tyre
pressure label.
For more information on the
identification markings, refer to the
corresponding section.
Tyre pressures should be checked
when the tyres are "cold" (vehicle
stopped for 1 hour or after a journey of
less than 6 miles (10 km) at moderate
speeds).
Other wise (when hot), add 0.3 bar to
the pressures shown on the label.
Driving with under-inflated tyres
increases fuel consumption.
System which automatically checks the pressures of the tyres while driving.
The system monitors the pressures in the four
tyres, once the vehicle is moving.
It compares the information given by the four
wheel speed sensors with reference values,
which must be reinitialised ever y time the
tyre pressures are adjusted or a wheel
changed
.
The system triggers an alert as soon as it
detects a drop in the inflation pressure of one
or more tyres.
