It may be best to deactivate ESP®in the fol-
lowing situations:
Rwhen using snow chains
Rin deep snow
Ron sand or gravel
Deactivating/activating ESP
®in Mercedes-
AMG vehicles (

ing wheel to select the DriveAssist
menu.
XPress9or: to select ESP.
XPressato confirm.
The current selection appears.
XTo activate/deactivate: press thea

®is deactivated if the åwarning
lamp in the instrument cluster lights up
continuously when the engine is running.
If the ÷ andå warning lamps light up
continuously, ESP
®is not available due to a
malfunction.
