You can change the buzzer sounds volu me and the screen operating conditions
when the power switch is in ON mode.
Press the “MENU” button on the Remote Touch, and then select on the
screen.
Select “Vehicle”, and then select “LEXUS Park Assist” on the screen.
Select the desired item.
The buzzer sounds volume can
be adjusted.

■The intuitive parking assist can be operated when
●Front corner sensors:
• The power switch is in ON mode.
• The shift lever is in other than P.

●Front center sensors:
• The power switch is in ON mode.
• The shift lever is in other than P or R.
• The vehicle speed is less than about 6 mph (10 km/h).
●Rear corner and rear center sensors:
• The power switch is in ON mode.
• The shift lever is in R.
■Intuitive parking assist display
●Vehicles with 8-inch display: When an ob stacle is detected while the Lexus parking
assist monitor or panoramic view monitor is in use, the warning indicator will appear in
the upper part of the screen even if the display setting has been set to off.
●Vehicles with 12.3-inch display: If the intu itive parking assist display is set to on,
detected objects will also be displayed on the panoramic view monitor. For details, refer
to “NAVIGATION SYSTEM OWNER’S MANUAL”.

Vehicles with Adaptive Variable Suspension System
Normal mode/Customized mode
Normal mode and customized mode ar e selected by pressing the driving
mode select switch. Each time the switch is pressed, the driving mode
changes between normal mode and customized mode. When customized
mode is selected, the “CUSTOMIZE” indicator will be illuminated.
When Eco drive mode or sport mode is se lected, pressing the switch changes the
driving mode to normal mode.
• Normal mode
Provides an optimal balance of fuel economy, quietness, and dynamic per-
formance. Suitable for city driving.
• Customized mode Allows you to drive with the following functions set to your preferred set-
tings.
Customized mode settings can only be changed on the drive mode cus-
tomization display of the audio system screen.

Eco drive mode
Helps the driver accelerate in an eco-friendly manner and improve fuel econ-
omy through moderate throttle charact eristics and by controlling the opera-
tion of the air conditioning system (heating/cooling).
When not in Eco drive mode, if the driving mode select switch is turned to the left, the
Eco drive mode indicator will come on.
Sport mode
•SPORT S mode
Controls the hybrid system to provide quick, powerful acceleration. This
mode is suitable for when agile drivin g response is desired, such as when
driving on roads with many curves.
When not in SPORT S mode, if the driving mode select switch is turned to the
right, the “SPORT S” indicator will come on.
•SPORT S+ mode
Helps to ensure steering performanc e and driving stability by simultane-
ously controlling the steering and suspension in addition to the hybrid sys-
tem. Suitable for sportier driving.
When in SPORT S mode, if the driving mode select switch is turned to the right,
the “SPORT S+” indicator will come on.

●Use fluids that are appropriate to the prevailing outside temperatures.
•Engine oil
• Engine/power cont rol unit coolant
• Washer fluid
●Have a service technician inspect the condition of the 12-volt battery.
●Have the vehicle fitted with four snow tires or purchase a set of tire chains for
the front tires.
Ensure that all tires are of the specified size and the same brand, and that chains
match the size of the tires.
Perform the following according to the driving conditions:
●Do not try to forcibly open a window or move a wiper that is frozen. Pour
warm water over the frozen area to me lt the ice. Wipe away the water imme-
diately to prevent it from freezing.
●To ensure proper operation of the c limate control system fan, remove any
snow that has accumulated on the air inlet vents in front of the windshield.
●Check for and remove any excess ice or snow that may have accumulated on
the exterior lights, vehicle’s roof, chassi s, around the tires or on the brakes.
●Remove any snow or mud from the bottom of your shoes before getting in the
vehicle.
Winter driving tips
Carry out the necessary preparations an d inspections before driving the vehi-
cle in winter. Always drive the vehicle in a manner appropriate to the prevail-
ing weather conditions.

Accelerate the vehicle slowly, keep a safe distance between you and the vehicle
ahead, and drive at a reduced spee d suitable to road conditions.
Park the vehicle and move the shift lever to P without setting the parking brake.
The parking brake may freeze up, preventing it from being released. If necessary,
block the wheels to prevent in advertent sliding or creeping.
When the parking brake is in automatic mo de, release the parking brake after shifting
the shift lever to P. ( P. 245)
Use the correct tire chain size when mounti ng the tire chains. Chain size is regu-
lated for each tire size.
Side chain:
0.12 in. (3 mm) in diameter
0.43 in. (10.8 mm) in width
0.98 in. (25 mm) in length
Cross chain: 0.15 in. (3.9 mm) in diameter
0.54 in. (13.8 mm) in width
1.00 in. (25.3 mm) in length
Regulations regarding the use of tire chains vary depending on location and type
of road. Always check local regu lations before installing chains.
