Press the appropriate HomeLink button. The HomeLink indicator light
should turn on.
The HomeLink compatible transceiver in your vehicle continues to send a
signal for up to 20 seconds as long as the button is pressed.
The individual HomeLink buttons cannot be erased but can be repro-
grammed. To reprogram, press and hold the desired HomeLink button.
After 20 seconds, the HomeLink indicator light will start flashing slowly.
Next, while still pressing and holding the HomeLink button, press and
hold the button on the transmitter until the HomeLink indicator light
changes from a slow to a rapid flash.
Press and hold the 2 outside buttons
for 10 seconds until the indicator
light flashes.
If you sell your vehicle, be sure to
erase the programs stored in the
HomeLink memory.

●Headlight high beams (vehicles without near-infrared ray transmit-
ters)
■Discharge headlights (if equipped)
If voltage to the discharge bulbs is insufficient, the bulbs may not come on, or may go
out temporarily. The discharge bulbs will come on when normal power is restored.

If the emergency flashers are used for a long time while the engine is not operating,
the battery may discharge.
Emergency flashers
The emergency flashers are used to warn other drivers when the vehi-
cle has to be stopped in the road due to a breakdown, etc.
