Outside temperature
Displays the outside temperature within the range of -40 F (-40 C) to 122 F
(50 C). Low outside temperature indicator comes on when the ambient temperature
is 37 F (3 C) or lower.
Clock
Time displayed is linked to the analog clock on the instrument panel. (P. 313)

Displays the vehicle speed
Fuel gauge
Displays the quantity of fuel remaining in the tank
Multi-information display
Presents the driver with a variety of driving-related data ( P. 9 3 )

Odometer and trip meter display
Odometer:
Displays the total distance the vehicle has been driven
Tr i p m e t e r :
Displays the distance the vehicle has been driven since the meter was last reset. Trip
meters “A” and “B” can be used to record and display different distances indepen-
dently.
Maintenance required information: • Displays the maintenance required inform ation when the power switch is in ON
mode.

Displays the selected shift position or selected shift range (P. 1 8 7 )

displays. When the trip meter is dis-
played, pressing and holding the button
will reset the trip meter.
The brightness of the instrument panel lights can be adjusted.

The power switch is in ON mode.
■Instrument panel brightness adjustment
The instrument panel brig htness levels when the tail ligh ts are on and off can be adjusted
individually. However, when the surroundings ar e bright (daytime, etc.), turning on the tail
lights will not change the instru ment panel brightness. At this time, any adjustments made
to the instrument panel bright ness levels will be applied to both settings at once.
■Limitation of brightness adjustment
The brightness of the instrume nt panel lights is automatically adjusted based on the light
sensor detecting how bright the surroundings are. However, if the instrument panel
brightness has been manually set to either th e brightest or darkest setting, the automatic
adjustment will not be performed.

■Resetting the message indicating maintenance is required (U.S.A. only)
After the required maintenance is performed according to the maintenance schedule,
please reset the message.
To reset the message, follow the procedure described below:Press or of the meter co ntrol switch and select .

■Allow inspection and repairs to be performed by a Lexus dealer

vehicle.
●Keep a copy of the repair order. It proves that the maintenance that has been per-
formed is under warranty coverage. If any problem should arise while your vehicle is
under warranty, your Lexus dealer will promptly take care of it.

birth defects or other reproductive harm. Avoid exposure and wash any affected area
immediately.
●12-volt battery posts, terminals and related accessories contain lead and lead com-
pounds which are known to cause brain damage. Wash your hands after handling.

■After changing the engine oil
The engine oil maintenance data should be reset. Perform the following procedures:

WA R N I N G
■Used engine oil
●Used engine oil contains potentially harm ful contaminants which may cause skin dis-
orders such as inflammation and skin canc er, so care should be taken to avoid pro-
longed and repeated contact. To remove used engine oil from your skin, wash
thoroughly with soap and water.
●Dispose of used oil and filters only in a sa fe and acceptable manner. Do not dispose of
used oil and filters in household tras h, in sewers or onto the ground.
Call your Lexus dealer, service station or auto parts store for information concerning
recycling or disposal.
●Do not leave used engine oil within the reach of children.
NOTICE
■To prevent serious engine damage
Check the oil level on a regular basis.
■When replacing the engine oil
●Be careful not to spill engine oil on the vehicle components.
●Avoid overfilling, or the engine could be damaged.
●Check the oil level on the dipstick every time you refill the vehicle.
●Be sure the engine oil filler cap is properly tightened.

Indicates that the tire position information cannot be rec-
ognized
Drive for a short while an d check if the display
updates.
If the radio wave conditions improve, the display
may return to normal. If th e tire pressure is still not
displayed after driving for several minutes, stop the
vehicle in a safe place, turn the power switch off
then on again, and start driving. If the tire pressure is
still not displayed even after repeating this process
several times, have the vehicle inspected at your
Lexus dealer.
Indicates that the wash er fluid level is low
 Add washer fluid.
Except F SPORT models: Indicates that remaining fuel is
approximately 2.6 gal. (10.0 L, 2.2 Imp.gal.) or less
F SPORT models: Indicates remaining fuel is approxi-
mately 2.6 gal. (9.9 L, 2.2 Imp.gal.) or less
Refuel the vehicle.
Indicates that the outside temperature is approximately
37F (3 C) or lower
A buzzer also sounds.
 Drive carefully, as the road may be icy.
Indicates that the power oil is scheduled to be changed
Check the engine oil and ch ange if necessary. After
changing the engine oil, the oil change system
should be reset. ( P. 3 5 1 )
(The indicator will not work properly unless the oil
maintenance data has been reset.)
