Engine coolant temperature gauge
Displays the engine coolant temperature
Ta c h o m e t e r
Displays the engine speed in revolutions per minute
Outside temperature
Displays the outside temperature within the range of -40°F (-40 °C) to 122 °F
(50 °C). Low outside temperature indicator comes on when the ambient temperature
is 37 °F (3 °C) or lower.
Clock
Time displayed is linked to the analog clock on the instrument panel. ( →P. 3 5 9 )
Speedometer
Displays the vehicle speed
Fuel gauge
Displays the quantity of fuel remaining in the tank
Multi-information display
Presents the driver with a variety of driving-related data ( →P. 1 0 0 )
Displays warning messages in case of a malfunction ( →P. 4 5 9 )
Odometer and trip meter display
Odometer:
Displays the total distance the vehicle has been driven
Tr i p m e t e r :
Displays the distance the vehicle has been driven since the meter was last reset. Trip
meters “A” and “B” can be used to record and display different distances indepen-
dently.
Maintenance required information:
• Displays the maintenance required informat ion when the engine switch is in IGNI-
TION ON mode.
• It can be reset from of the multi-information display. ( →P. 1 0 0 )
Shift position and shift range
Displays the selected shift position or selected shift range ( →P. 202)

■Outside temperature display
●In the following situations, the correct outside temperature may not be displayed, or the
display may take longer than normal to change.
• When stopped, or driving at low speeds (less than 12 mph [20 km/h])
• When the outside temperature has changed suddenly (at the entrance/exit of a
garage, tunnel, etc.)
●When “--” or “E” is displayed, the system may be malfunctioning.
Take your vehicle to your Lexus dealer.
■Pop-up display
●In some situations, a pop-up display will be temporarily displayed on the multi-informa-
tion display or the odometer/trip meter/ maintenance required information screen.
●Some pop-up displays can be set on/off. ( →P. 5 7 1 )
■Liquid crystal display
Small spots or light spots may appear on the display. This phenomenon is characteristic
of liquid crystal displays, and there is no problem continuing to use the display.

The meter display can be customized on the multi-information display.

If the screen shown to the right is displayed
when trying to change the time display method
through (→P. 100) on the multi-infor-
mation display, the system may be malfunction-
ing.

dealer.
WA R N I N G
■The information display at low temperatures
Allow the interior of the vehicle to warm up before using the liquid crystal information
display. At extremely low temperatures, the information display monitor may respond
slowly, and display changes may be delayed.
For example, there is a lag between the driver’s shifting and the new gear number
appearing on the display. This lag could cause the driver to downshift again, causing
rapid and excessive engine braking and possibly an accident resulting in death or
injury.

The inflation pressure of the compact spare tire will not be displayed.

Interior features
The GPS clock’s time is automatically
adjusted by utilizing GPS time informa-
tion.
For details, refer to “NAVIGATION
SYSTEM OWNER’S MANUAL”.
Open the ashtray lid.
To remove the ashtray, pull the ashtray
lid upwards.

WA R N I N G
●Keep the ashtray closed when not in use. In the event of sudden braking or sudden
swerving, an accident may occur due to an occupant being struck by the open ash-
tray or ash flying out.
●To p r e v e n t f i r e
• Fully extinguish matches and cigarettes before putting them in the ashtray, thenmake sure the ashtray is fully closed.
• Do not place paper or any other type of flammable object in the ashtray.

Maintenance and care
■Adding engine oil
If the oil level is below or near the low level mark, add engine oil of the same
type as that already in the engine.
Make sure to check the oil type and prepare the items needed before adding
oil.Remove the oil filler cap by turning it counterclockwise.
Add engine oil slowly, checking the dipstick.
Install the oil filler cap by turning it clockwise.

For the left side only: Remove the
bolt and move the washer fluid
filler opening.
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.
