Adjusting the height up and down
To raise the headrest, pull it up to the
desired position (1). To lower the
headrest, push and hold the release
button (2) on the headrest support
and lower the headrest to the desired

NOTICE
If you recline the seatback towards
the front with the headrest and seat
cushion raised, the headrest may
come in contact with the sunvisor or
other parts of the vehicle.

Removal and reinstallation
To remove the headrest :
1. Recline the seatback (2) with the
recline lever or switch (1).
2. Raise headrest as far as it can go. 3. Press the headrest release button
(3) while pulling the headrest up (4).
To reinstall the headrest :
1. Put the headrest poles (2) into theholes while pressing the release
button (1).
2. Recline the seatback (4) with the recline lever or switch (3).
WARNING
NEVER allow anyone to ride in a
seat with the headrest removed.

Removing the tumble seat
(for 8 passenger vehicle)
1. Insert the seat belt in the belt assembly cover.
2. Insert the seat belt buckle in the seat cushion pocket. 3. Lower the headrest to the lowest
position.
4. Slide the seat to the farthest rear- ward.
5. Fold the seat back by pull up the recline strap. 6. Pull the removal strap and lift the
rear portion of the seat cushion.

Pull the removal strap and lift the
rear portion of the seat cushion.
Then the rear catches will be
released.
Remove the seat while lifting up the
rear portion of seat cushion and then
reinstalling the tumble seat.
Stowing the rear seat - 3rd row seat
The rear seat can be folded and
stowed in the luggage compartment
to provide additional cargo space. To stow the rear seat :
1. Lower the headrest to the lowest
position. To stow easily, adjust the
seatback to upright position.

The second row headrest is
equipped with auto-folding
function. The cable may become
dislocated or damaged when
the headrest is removed, and
may lead to auto-folding func-
tion failure.

If you do not have a spare, use a
fuse of the same rating from a circuityou may not need for operating thevehicle, such as the power outletfuse.
If the headlights or other electrical
components do not work and the
fuses are OK, check the fuse panel
in the engine compartment. If a fuse
is blown, it must be replaced.
Fuse switch
Always, put the fuse switch at the ON
position.
If you move the switch to the OFF
position, some items such as audio
and digital clock must be reset and
transmitter (or smart key) may not
work properly. When the switch is
Off, the caution will be displayed on
the instrument cluster.
Always place the fuse switch in the
ON position while driving the vehicle.
Engine compartment fuse
replacement
1. Turn the ignition switch and all other switches off.
2. Remove the fuse panel cover by pressing the tab and pulling the
cover up.
When the blade type fuse is dis- connected, remove it by using the
clip designed for changing fuses
located in the engine room fuse
box. Upon removal, securely
insert reserve fuse of equal quan-
tity.

Maintenance
High mounted stop lamp
replacement1. Open the tailgate.
2. Gently remove the center cover ofthe rear tailgate trim.
3. Disconnect the electrical connec- tor.
4. Loosen the retaining nuts and remove the spoiler.
5. Remove the high mounted stop light assembly after loosening the
screws.
6. Reinstall a new light assembly in the reverse order of removal.License plate light bulb
replacement
1. Loosen the lens retaining screwswith a phillips head screwdriver.
2. Remove the lens.
3. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out.
4. Install a new bulb.
5. Reinstall the lens securely with the lens retaining screws.
