HOW TO USE THE DISP BUTTON
Press the DISP button. This screen displays vari-
ous screen settings and functions that are avail-
able for your vehicle. Adjustments can be made
using the INFINITI controller or the touch-screen
display. When the amber indicator next to an item
is illuminated, the feature is enabled.
While the vehicle is in the (P) Park position, the
following settings may be changed:
MenuResult
Display Toggles the display screen on and off. The amber indicator is illuminated when the display is set to “On”. When the display is set to “Off” and a control
panel, audio or heater and air conditioner button is pressed, the display will resume until that operation is finished. To turn the display back on, press
and hold the
OFF button for approximately 2 seconds or return to the display setting screen and adjust the setting.
Brightness Adjusts the brightness of the screen background.
Contrast Adjusts the contrast of the screen background.
Background Color Toggles the display screen between day and night mode.
While the vehicle is in the (R) Reverse position, the following settings may be changed:

Tint Adjusts the tint of the rear view display.
Color Adjusts the color of the rear view display.
Contrast Adjusts the contrast of the rear view display.
Black Level Adjusts the black level of the rear view display.
NOTE:
Do not adjust any of the display settings while the vehicle is moving. Make sure the parking brake is firmly applied.

To adjust the Display ON/OFF, Brightness, Tint,
Color, Contrast and Black Level of the RearView
Monitor, press the SETTING button with the
RearView Monitor on and select the “Display”
key. Select one of the items and change the value
by touching the “+” or “-” key or by turning the
INFINITI controller.NOTE:
Do not adjust the Brightness, Tint, Color,
Contrast and Black Level of the RearView
Monitor while the vehicle is moving. Make
sure the parking brake is firmly applied.
HOW TO TURN ON AND OFF
PREDICTED COURSE LINES
To toggle ON and OFF the predicted course lines
while in the P (Park) position:
1. Press the SETTING button.
2. Select the Camera key.
3. Select the Predicted Course Lines key to
turn the feature ON or OFF.
To toggle ON and OFF the predicted course lines
while in the R (Reverse) position:
1. Press the SETTING button.
2. Select the Settings key.
3. Select the Predicted Course Lines key to
turn the feature ON or OFF.
REARVIEW MONITOR SYSTEM
LIMITATIONS
WARNING
Listed below are the system limitations for
RearView Monitor. Failure to operate the
vehicle in accordance with these system
limitations could result in serious injury or
death.
●The system cannot completely elimi-
nate blind spots and may not show ev-
ery object.
●Underneath the bumper and the corner
areas of the bumper cannot be viewed
on the RearView Monitor because of its
monitoring range limitation. The system
will not show small objects below the
bumper, and may not show objects
close to the bumper or on the ground.
●Objects viewed in the RearView Moni-
tor differ from actual distance because
a wide-angle lens is used.
●Objects in the RearView Monitor will
appear visually opposite compared to
when viewed in the rearview and out-
side mirrors.

HOW TO SWITCH THE DISPLAY
With the ignition switch in the ON position, press
the CAMERA button or move the shift lever to the
R (Reverse) position to operate the Around
View® Monitor.
The Around View® Monitor displays different
split screen views depending on the position of
the shift lever. Press the CAMERA button or
touch the Change view key on the touch-screen
to switch between the available views.
If the shift lever is in the R (Reverse) position, the
available views are:
●Rear view/bird’s-eye view split screen
●Rear view/front-side view split screen
●Rear-wide viewIf the shift lever is in the P (Park) position, the
available views are:
●Front view/bird’s-eye view split screen
●Front view/front-side view split screen
●Front-wide view
If the shift lever is in the D (Drive) position, the
only available view is front view/front-side view
split screen.
The display will switch from the Around View®
Monitor screen when:
●The shift lever is in the D (Drive) position and
the vehicle speed increases above approxi-
mately 10 km/h (6 mph) .
●A different screen is selected.

The Camera Aiding Sonar (parking sensor)
sounds a tone to inform the driver of obstacles
near the bumper.
The colors of the Camera Aiding Sonar (parking
sensor) indicators and the distance guide lines in
the rear view indicate different distances to the
object.
WARNING
●The Camera Aiding Sonar (parking sen-
sor) is a convenience feature. It is not a
substitute for proper parking.
●The driver is always responsible for
safety during parking and other
maneuvers.
●Always look around and check that it is
safe to move before parking.
●Read and understand the limitations of
the Camera Aiding Sonar (parking sen-
sor) as contained in this section.
●The colors of the sonar indicators and
the distance guide lines in the front,
front-wide, rear and rear-wide views in-
dicate different distances to the object.●Inclement weather or ultrasonic
sources such as an automatic car wash,
a truck’s compressed-air brakes or a
pneumatic drill may affect the function
of the system; this may include reduced
performance or a false activation.
●This function is designed as an aid to
the driver in detecting large stationary
objects to help avoid damaging the
vehicle.
●The system is not designed to prevent
contact with small or moving objects.
●The system will not detect small objects
below the bumper, and may not detect
objects close to the bumper or on the
ground.
●The system may not detect the follow-
ing objects:
– Fluffy objects such as snow, cloth,
cotton, glass or wool.
– Thin objects such as rope, wire or
chain.
– Wedge-shaped objects.

1 Track Repeat: the current track playing will be
repeated.
1 Disc Random: all tracks will be played ran-
domly.
1 Folder Repeat: the folder currently being ac-
cessed will be repeated.
1 Folder Random: the tracks in the current folder
being accessed will be played randomly.
CD EJECT button
When the
button is pressed with the com-
pact disc loaded, the compact disc will be
ejected.
When the
button is pressed while the
compact disc is being played, the compact disc
will eject and the system will turn off.Front AUX (auxiliary) input jacks (inside
center console)
The front auxiliary input jacks are located inside
the center console1. NTSC compatible de-
vices such as video games, camcorders and
portable video players can be connected to the
auxiliary input jacks. Audio devices, such as some
MP3 players, can also be connected to the sys-
tem through the auxiliary input jacks.The auxiliary input jacks are color coded for iden-
tification purposes:
●Red – right channel audio input
●White – left channel audio input
●Yellow – video input
Before connecting a device to the auxiliary input
jacks, turn off the power of the portable device.
With a compatible device connected to the aux-
iliary input jacks, press the DISC·AUX button
repeatedly until the AUX mode appears in the
display. The output from the device will be played
through the display (when the vehicle is in the (P)
Park position and the parking brake engaged)
and audio system.

AUX settings
Select the “Menu” key using the INFINITI control-
ler.
The display mode can be set to Normal, Wide or
Cinema. The volume setting can be set to Low,
Medium or High.

DIGITAL VERSATILE DISC (DVD)
PLAYER OPERATION (models with
Navigation System)
Precautions
Start the engine when using the DVD entertain-
ment system.
Movies will not be shown on the front display
while the vehicle is in any drive position to reduce
driver distraction. Audio is available when a movie
is played. To view movies on the front display,
stop the vehicle in a safe location, move the shift
lever to the P (Park) position and apply the park-
ing brake.
WARNING
●The driver must not attempt to operate
the DVD system or wear the head-
phones while the vehicle is in motion so
that full attention may be given to ve-
hicle operation.
●Do not attempt to modify the system to
display a movie on the front screen
while the vehicle is being driven. Doing
so may distract the driver and may
cause a collision and serious personal
injury or death.
CAUTION
●Only operate the DVD while the vehicle
engine is running. Operating the DVD
for extended periods of time with the
engine OFF can discharge the vehicle
battery.
●Do not allow the system to get wet.
Excessive moisture such as spilled liq-
uids may cause the system to
malfunction.
●While playing VIDEO-CD media, this
DVD player does not guarantee com-
plete functionality of all VIDEO-CD
formats.
