Instrument Cluster Control
Adjusting instrument clusterillumination
When the vehicle’s parking lights or headlights are on, press the illumina-
tion control button to adjust the
brightness of the instrument panelillumination. When pressing the illumination con-
trol button, the interior switch illumi-nation intensity is also adjusted. The brightness of the instrument
panel illumination is displayed.
If the brightness reaches the maxi- mum or minimum level, a chimewill sound.
LCD Display Control
The LCD display modes can be
changed by using the control buttons
on the steering wheel.
(1) : MODE button for changing modes
(2) ▲, ▼ : MOVE switch for chang-
ing items
(3) OK : SELECT/RESET button for setting or resetting the selected item

The average fuel economy will not reset automatically whenever refueling.

Auto Rear Wiper
The Auto Rear Wiper function will be deactivated.
ON : If you move the shift lever from D to R when the front wiper operates, the rear wiper will oper-ate automatically. Then, if you move the shift lever from R to D, the rear wiper will stop.
Fuel Economy UnitChoose the fuel economy unit. (US gallon, UK gallon)
Temperature UnitChoose the temperature unit. (°C,°F)
Tire Pressure UnitChoose the tire pressure unit. (psi, kPa, Bar)

This warning message is displayed if
the smart key is not detected when
you press the Engine Start/Stop but-ton.

This warning message is displayedif the smart key is not in the vehicle

When attempting to start the vehi- cle, always have the smart key with
you.
Align steering wheel
This warning message is displayedif you start the engine when the
steering wheel is turned to more
than 90 degrees to the left or right.
In order to align the steering wheel, turn the wheel in the direction
shown while the engine is running
to straighten the steering wheel.

the trip computer (for example

battery is disconnected.

Information
If you press and hold the OK button
when viewing the tripmeter, the
mileage, the average vehicle speed,
and the timer will be reset simultane-
ously.
Tripmeter (1)
The tripmeter is the total drivingdistance since the last tripmeterreset.
- Distance range:0.0 ~ 9999.9 mi. or km
To reset the tripmeter, press the OK button on the steering wheel
for more than 1 second when the
tripmeter is displayed.
Average Vehicle Speed (2)
The average vehicle speed is cal-culated by the total driving dis-
tance and driving time since the
last average vehicle speed reset.
- Speed range: 0~160 MPH or 0~240 km/h
To reset the average vehicle speed, press the OK button on the
steering wheel for more than 1
second when the average vehicle
speed is displayed.
Information
The average vehicle speed is not dis-played if the driving distance has
been less than 0.19 miles (300
meters) since the ignition switch or
the Engine Start/Stop button was
turned to ON.
The average vehicle speed will con- tinue to be calculated and will start
to decrease if the vehicle is stopped
while the engine is still running (for
example, when the vehicle is in traf-
fic or stopped at a stop light.)

Elapsed Time (3)
The elapsed time is the total driv-ing time since the last elapsed time reset.
- Time range (hh:mm): 00:00 ~ 99:59
To reset the elapsed time, press the OK button on the steering wheel for more than 1 second when the
elapsed time is displayed.
Information
The elapsed time will continue to be
counted while the engine is still run-
ning (for example, when the vehicle is
in traffic or stopped at a stop light.)
RangeRange (1)
The range is the estimated dis-tance the vehicle can be driven with the remaining fuel in the fueltank.
- Distance range: 1 ~ 9999 mi. or 1 ~ 9999 km
If the estimated distance is below 1 mi. (1 km), the trip computer will
display “---” as the range.
Information
If the vehicle is not on level groundor the battery power has been inter-
rupted, the range function may not
operate correctly.
The range may differ from the actu- al driving distance as it is an esti-
mate of the available driving dis-
tance.
The trip computer may not register additional fuel if less than 1.6 gal-
lons (6 liters) of fuel are added to the
vehicle.
The fuel economy and range may vary significantly based on driving
conditions, driving habits, and con-
dition of the vehicle.
