This warning message illuminates,
when the Smart Key is not detected
while pressing the Engine Start/Stop
button.
Press start button again
This warning message illuminates,
when you cannot operate the Engine
Start/Stop button due to a malfunction
with the Engine Start/Stop button.
You can start the vehicle by repressing
the Engine Start/Stop button again.
When the warning message illumi-
nates each time you press the Engine
Start/Stop button, have your vehicle
inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI
dealer.

Press “START” button with key
This warning message illuminates,
when you press the Engine Start/Stop
button while the warning message,
“Key not detected,” is displayed.
At this time, the immobilizer indicator
light blinks.
Check "BRAKE SWITCH" fuse
This warning message illuminates if
the brake switch fuse is disconnected.
You need to replace the fuse with a
new one. If not possible, you can
start the engine by pressing the
Engine Start/Stop button for 10 sec-
onds in the ACC position.
Shift to "P" to start engine
This warning message illuminates,
when you try to start the vehicle with
the shift lever not in P (Park).

Door, Hood, Trunk Open
This warning illuminates, when any
door, hood, or trunk is open.
Sunroof Open (if equipped)
This warning illuminates, when the
sunroof is opened, after turning OFF
the vehicle.
Turn on "FUSE SWITCH"
This warning message illuminates if
the fuse switch in the instrument
panel fuse, under the steering wheel
is OFF.
You should turn ON the fuse switch.

Align steering wheel (if equipped)
This warning message illuminates,
when the steering wheel is turned by
90 degrees or wider, either to left or
to right, while running the engine.
You should align the steering wheel
and narrow the steering wheel angle
to be less than 30 degrees.
Steering wheel aligning is com-pleted (if equipped)
If the steering wheel aligning is com-
pleted after “Align steering wheel”
warning message is displayed, this
message is displayed for 2 seconds.
Low Washer Fluid
This warning message illuminates in
the service reminder mode, when
the washer fluid in the reservoir is
nearly empty.
You should refill the washer fluid.

Low Fuel
This warning message illuminates,
when the fuel tank is nearly empty.
You should refill the fuel tank.
Engine has overheated
This warning message illuminates
when the engine coolant tempera-
ture is above 120°C (248°F). This
means that the engine is overheated
and may be damaged.
If your vehicle is overheated, refer
to “Overheating” in chapter 6.
Check headlight (if equipped)
This warning message illuminates
when there is a malfunction (burned-
out bulb except LED lamp or circuit
malfunction) with the headlamp. In
this case, have your vehicle inspected
by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Information
Make sure to replace the burned out
bulb with a new one of the same
wattage rating.
If not, this warning message will not
be displayed.

Check Active Air Flap System
This warning message illuminates in
the following situations:
- There is a malfunction with theactuator flap
- There is a malfunction with the actuator air flap controller
- The air flap does not open
When all of the above conditions are
fixed, the warning will disappear.
Check Hybrid system
This warning message illuminates
when there is a problem with the
hybrid control system.
Refrain from driving when the warn-
ing message is displayed.
In this case, have your vehicle
inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI
dealer.
Check Hybrid system. Turn off engine.
This warning message illuminates
when there is a problem with the
hybrid system. The " " indicator
will blink and a warning chime will

(SOC) level is low.
