Ventilation
Air intake
The air circulating in the passenger compartment is filtered and originates either from the outside via t
he grille located at the base of the windscreen or
f
rom the inside in air recirculation mode.
Air treatment
The incoming air follows various routes depending on the controls selected by the
d
river:

assage through a heating circuit (heating),

assage through a cooling circuit (air

onditioning).
The
temperature control enables you to obtain

he level of comfort required by mixing the air of

he various circuits.

iffuse the air in the passenger compartment

ombining several air vents.
The air flow control enables you to increase or
reduce
the speed of the ventilation blower.

The controls of this system are grouped together on control panel A on the centre
console.

Rear screen demist - defrost
The control button is located on the heating or air conditioning system control panel.

The rear screen demisting/defrosting can only operate when the engine is running.

Switching off
The demisting/defrosting switches off automatically to prevent an excessive

Scented air

This diffuses a fragrance in the passenger c
ompartment, by means of the adjustment dial

nd the various fragrance cartridges available.
This
dial is located on the dashboard.
It
allows you to adjust the intensity of diffusion

f the fragrance.

This cartridge can be removed easily. The first time it is used, replace the plug with a real

artridge.
You
can change it at any time and store it in the

ealed case which keeps it closed once it has

ned.

can obtain different fragrance cartridges

rom a CITROËN dealer or a qualified

orkshop.
Fragrance cartridge
Do not discard the original cartridge as this serves as a plug when no
f
ragrance cartridge is in use.
In
order to preserve the service life

f the cartridge, turn the dial fully to
t
he left when you no longer wish to
d
iffuse the fragrance in the passenger
c
ompartment.
As
a safety precaution, do not carry
o
ut any action on the cartridge while
d
riving.
Do
not dismantle the cartridges.
Do
not attempt to refill the fragrance
d
iffuser or the cartridges.
Avoid
all contact with the skin and

es.
