The
vehicle's electric system allows the

onnection of a compressor for long

nough to inflate a tyre after a puncture

epair or for inflating a small inflatable

ccessory. Do
not exceed a speed of 50 mph
(
80 km/h) when driving with a tyre
r
epaired using this type of kit.

Avoid removing any foreign bodies which have penetrated into the tyre.F

ncoil the pipe stowed under the
compressor.

onnect the pipe from the compressor to

he sealant cartridge.

urn the the sealant cartridge and secure it

n the cut-out provided on the compressor.F

emove the valve cap from the tyre to be

epaired, and place it in a clean area.

onnect the hose from the sealant

artridge to the valve of the tyre to be
r
epaired and tighten firmly.

Changing a wheelProcedure for changing a faulty wheel for the spare wheel using the tools provided with the vehicle.
T he tools are installed in the boot under the

The spare wheel is installed in the boot under
the floor.
According
to country, you will have either a
"
space saver" spare wheel or a temporary
p
uncture repair kit.
For access to it, refer to the "Access to the
tools"

type spare wheel
If your vehicle is fitted with alloy
wheels, it is normal to notice, when
t
ightening the bolts on fitting, that the
w
ashers do not come into contact with
t
he "space-saver" type spare wheel.
T
he wheel is secured by the conical
contact
sur face of each bolt.
Taking out the wheel
F Unscrew the yellow central bolt.
F R aise the spare wheel towards you from
t
he rear.
F
T
ake the wheel out of the boot.

Removing a wheel
Parking the vehicle
Immobilise the vehicle where it does not block traffic: the ground must be
l
evel, stable and not slippery.
Apply
the parking brake, switch off the
i
gnition and engage first gear* to lock
t
he wheels.
If
necessary, place a chock under the
w
heel diagonally opposite the wheel to
be c
hanged.
It
is imperative that you ensure that the
o
ccupants get out of the vehicle and
w
ait where they are safe.
Never
go underneath a vehicle raised
u
sing a jack; use an axle stand.

Fitting a wheel
After changing a wheel
To store the punctured wheel in the
boot correctly, first remove the central

ove r.
When
using the "space-saver" type

emporary-use spare wheel, do not

xceed 50 mph (80 km/h).
Have
the tightening of the bolts and the
p
ressure of the spare wheel checked
b
y a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
w
orkshop without delay.
Have the punctured wheel repaired and
replace it on the vehicle as soon as
possible.
Do
not drive with more than one
t
emporary-use spare wheel fitted to the
v
ehicle at one time.

RACING tyres
driving in winter conditions
The 215/40 R18 89W tyres fitted as standard are not suitable for severe winter conditions.
W
e recommend that you use suitable winter

yres during periods of very cold weather.
If you want to fit snow chains or
snow
socks to your vehicle, contact

ITROËN dealer for advice on the
tyres
recommended for your vehicle.

Amber or red bulbs, such as those for the direction indicators and rear

must be replaced by bulbs of

Changing bulbs

nscrew the butter fly nut securing the
lam

u
nit.

nclip the lamp unit connector.

xtract the lamp unit carefully pulling in its
m
iddle towards the outside. F
S pread the four tabs and remove the bulb h
o l d e r.

T
urn the bulb a quarter of a turn and
c
hange
it
.
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse
o r d e r.
Take
care to engage the lamp unit in its guides,
w
hile keeping it in line with the vehicle.
