Locking the vehicle
Normal locking
F With  the   electronic   key   on   your   person  a
nd   in   the   recognition   zone   A, press with a

at   the   markings).
Maintaining

witched   on.Locking the driver's door
F Insert   the   integral   key   in   the   door   lock,   then  t
urn   it   to   the   rear.
Unlocking the driver's door
F Insert  the   integral   key   in   the   door   lock,   then  t
urn   it   to   the   front.

Locking the passenger doors
F Open  the   doors.
F  O n   the   rear   doors,   check   that   the   child   lock

s   not   on.

emove   the   black   cap,   located   on   the   edge  
o

f   the   door,   using   the   integral   key.

nsert   the   integral   key   in   the   socket   without

orcing   it,   then   without   turning   it,   move   the  
l

atch sideways towards the inside of the
d o o r.

R
emove   the   integral   key   and   refit   the   cap.
F
 
C
lose   the   doors   and   check   that   the   vehicle  
h

as   locked   correctly   from   the   outside.
Unlocking the passenger doors
F Pull  the   interior   door   opening   control.
Changing the battery
Battery ref.: CR2032 / 3 volts.
B attery   replacement   is   signalled   by   the   display

f   a   message.

Following disconnection of the vehicle battery, replacement   of   the   remote   control   battery   or

n   the   event   of   a   remote   control   malfunction,

ou   can   no   longer   unlock,   lock   or   locate   your

ehicle.
Remember
  to   refit   the   mat   below   the   armrest  
a

fter   removing   the   reinitialised   electronic   key.

Alarm*
- exterior perimeter
The system checks for opening of the vehicle.
T he   alarm   is   triggered   if   anyone   tries   to   open   a

oor,   the   boot,   the   bonnet...
- interior volumetric
The system checks for any variation in the volume   in   the   passenger   compartment.
The
  alarm   is   triggered   if   anyone   breaks   a  
w

indow,   enters   the   passenger   compartment   or  
m

oves   inside   the   vehicle.
- tilt
The system checks for any change in the attitude   of   the   vehicle.
The
  alarm   is   triggered   if   the   vehicle   is   lifted,  
m

oved   or   knocked.
Self-protection function
The system checks for the putting out of service   of   its   components.
The
  alarm   is   triggered   if   the   battery,   the   central  
c

ontrol   or   the   siren   wiring   are   put   out   of   service  
o

r   damaged. For
  all   work   on   the   alarm   system,  c
ontact a CITROËN dealer or a
qualified w orkshop.

Reinitialisation
After reconnecting the battery or a fault, you must   be   reinitialise   the   operation   of   the   electric  
w

indows.   For   each   of   the   control   switches   on

he   driver's   side   control   panel:

elease   the   control   and   pull   it   again   until

he window closes fully,

ontinue to hold the control for

When the window rises and meets an obstacle, i t   stops   and   partially   lowers   again.
If
  the   window   cannot   be   closed   (for  
e

xample,   in   the   presence   of   ice),   once

he   window   has   lowered:

Tailgate release
Unlocking
F Fold  back   the   rear   seats   to   gain   access   to  t
he   lock   from   inside   the   boot.

ove   the   latch   to   the   left.
Locking after closing
If the fault persists after closing again, the boot will   remain   locked.

8. Air intake / Air recirculation

ompartment   to   be   isolated   from   exterior

  smoke.

to   permit   the   intake   of   outside   air   and

  the   formation   of   condensation.   The

ndicator   lamp   in   the   button   goes   off.
Avoid
  prolonged   operation   in   interior   air  
r

ecirculation   mode   (risk   of   misting   and  
d

eterioration   of   air   quality). For
  example,   while   you   are   away   from   the  
v

ehicle,   the   passengers   can   still   enjoy   some   air  
c

irculation   without   having   the   engine   running.
This
  function   is   available   after   switching   on   the  
i

gnition,   as   well   as   after   stopping   the   engine.
The period that the function is available
depends
  on   the   state   of   charge   of   the   battery.
You can activate the "REST" function while the
air
  conditioning   control   screens   are   on.On switching on the engine

ressing   the   REST button activates the
ventilation
  for   a   few   minutes.   Activation   of

he   function   is   confirmed   by   the   display   of
