CORROSION WARRANTY
For 3 years, regardless of distance driven,your Corrosion Warranty covers any body sheet metal
panel which develops a hole caused by corrosion.
In addition, outer body panels are covered against holes caused by corrosion up to5 years or 160,000
kilometres,whichever occurs first. An outer body panel is a sheet metal panel which can be seen
while walking around the vehicle, and which is painted body colour.
This warranty applies only to holes caused by corrosion. Cosmetic or surface corrosion (resulting
from stone chips or scratches in the paint, for example) will not be repaired under this warranty.
If corrosion damage is obviously neglected and allowed to worsen until a hole develops, this warranty
will not cover the repair.
EMISSION WARRANTIES
Chrysler Canada warrants that your new vehicle was designed, built and equipped to conform at the
time of sale with applicable federal and provincial emissions standards, and that the vehicle is, at the
time of sale, free from defects in material and workmanship which would cause it to fail to conform
to the applicable emission standards within the warranty periods specified. A covered defect is one
which causes your vehicle to fail to meet applicable emission control regulations.
To keep your vehicle operating properly and in conformance with emission regulations, see the
Scheduled Maintenanceinstructions in your Owner’s Manual and herein. Only Chrysler parts
should be used for maintenance and repair of your vehicle’s emission control systems.
You should keep any receipts for maintenance service and pass them on to the next owner of your
vehicle, in case questions arise concerning maintenance. Chrysler Canada has the right to deny
warranty coverage if your vehicle has not been properly maintained, or if repairs are needed because
parts other than Chrysler parts were used; however, denial will not be based on the lack of
maintenance records alone.
Warranty service must be performed by an authorized Chrysler or Dodge Retailer.
If emergency warranty service is required and an authorized retailer is not available, contact Chrysler
Canada Customer Assistance (page 9) and request emission warranty service help.
EMISSION DEFECT WARRANTY
The 3/60 Basic Warranty covers all emission control components for3 years or 60,000 kilometres,
whichever occurs first. The Emission Defect Warranty provides longer coverage for specified
components.
The Defect Warranty covers the following major emission control parts, if so equipped, for8 years
or 130,000-kilometres,whichever occurs first:
•catalytic converter
•powertrain control module
To receive this coverage the vehicles onboard diagnostic system must indicate a failed emission
component.

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Scheduled maintenance must be completed to provide the best vehicle performance and reliability.
The limited warranties in the warranty booklet DO NOT COVER repairs required due to improper
maintenance. We strongly suggest you keep track of scheduled maintenance and keep receipts or other
documents. Use only recommended Mopar® Lubricants and genuine Mopar® Parts. In the event that
a condition arises between maintenance intervals, please contact your retailer.AVOID PRO-
LONGED PERIODS OF IDLING.
NOTE: WHERE TIME AND METRAGE ARE INDICATED, FOLLOW THE INTERVAL
THAT OCCURS FIRST.
Your vehicle is equipped with an automatic oil change indicator system. The oil change indicator system
will remind you that it is time to take your vehicle in for scheduled maintenance. Based on engine
operation conditions, the oil change indicator message will illuminate. This means that service is
required for your vehicle. Operating conditions such as frequent short-trips, trailer tow, extremely hot
or cold ambient temperatures, and E85 fuel usage will influence when the “Change Oil” message is
displayed. Severe operating conditions can cause the change oil message to illuminate as early as 5,600
kilometres since last reset. Have your vehicle serviced as soon as possible, within the next 800
kilometres.
NOTE: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD OIL CHANGE INTERVALS EXCEED
16,000 KILOMETRES OR TWELVE MONTHS, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST.
SEVERE DUTY ALL MODELS:
CHANGE ENGINE OIL AT 6,500 KILOMETRES IF THE VEHICLE IS OPERATED IN A
DUSTY AND OFF ROAD ENVIRONMENT. THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE USE IS CONSID-
ERED SEVERE DUTY
ONCE A MONTH OR BEFORE A LONG TRIP:
•Check engine oil level.
•Check windshield washer fluid level.
•Check and clean wiper blades. Replace if required.
•Check the tire inflation pressures and look for unusual wear or damage.
•Check the fluid levels of the coolant reservoir, brake master cylinder and power steering. Fill as
needed.
•Check function of all interior and exterior lights.
REQUIRED MAINTENANCE
Refer to the Maintenance Schedules on the following pages for required maintenance.
AT EVERY OIL CHANGE INTERVAL AS INDICATED BY OIL CHANGE INDICATOR
SYSTEM:
•Change engine oil and filter. Oil changes prompted by the oil change indicator system can be
recorded in the oil change log section.
•Rotate the tires.Rotate at the first sign of irregular wear even if it occurs before the oil
indicator system turns on.
•Inspect battery and clean and tighten terminals as required.
•Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, hoses and park brake.
•Inspect engine cooling system protection and hoses.
•Inspect exhaust system.
•Inspect engine air filter if using in dusty or off-road conditions.
WARNING!
•The performance of all scheduled service work is required to maintain your vehicle in good
operating condition. Chrysler Canada Inc. reserves the right to deny warranty coverage if
the vehicle has not been properly maintained. While we do not insist that such work be
performed by factory authorized retailers, we strongly recommend that an authorized
Chrysler, Jeep® or Dodge Retailer perform this work.

Votre véhicule est équipé d’un système automatique de rappel de vidange d’huile. L’indicateur
automatique de changement d’huile vous rappelle qu’il est temps d’effectuer les services d’entretien
du programme d’entretien de votre véhicule. En fonction des conditions de fonctionnement du
moteur, le message de vidange d’huile s’allumera. Cela signifie qu’une intervention est nécessaire sur
votre véhicule. Les conditions de fonctionnement telles que des trajets courts fréquents, la traction
d’une remorque, des températures ambiantes extrêmement chaudes ou froides et l’utilisation de
carburant E85 vont avoir une influence lorsque le message «vidange d’huile» s’affichera. Des
conditions de fonctionnement intense peuvent entraîner l’affichage du message de vidange d’huile dès
que la limite de 5 600 kilomètres a été franchie depuis la dernière réinitialisation. Faites faire le
changement d’huile sans tarder, dans les prochains 800 kilomètres

UNE FOIS PAR MOIS OU AVANT UN LONG TRAJET :
•Vérifiez le niveau d’huile.
•Vérifiez le niveau de liquide lave-glace.
•Vérifiez et nettoyez les balais d’essuie-glace, et les remplacez s’il y a lieu.
•Vérifiez les pressions de gonflage des pneus et assurez-vous qu’il n’y a pas de signes d’usure ou
de dommages inhabituels.
•Vérifiez le niveau des réservoirs de liquide de refroidissement de maître-cylindre de frein et de
direction assistée. Ajoutez du liquide s’il y a lieu.
•Vérifiez le fonctionnement de l’éclairage intérieur et extérieur.
INTERVALLE D’ENTRETIEN REQUIS
Veuillez-vous reporter à la section Programmes d’entretien sur les pages suivantes pour connaître
l’intervalle d’entretien requis.
À CHAQUE PÉRIODICITÉ DE VIDANGE D’HUILE COMME INDIQUÉ PAR LE SYS-
TÈME DE RAPPEL DE VIDANGE D’HUILE :
•Vidangez l’huile moteur et remplacez le filtre. Les vidanges d’huile demandées par le système de
rappel de vidange d’huile peuvent être enregistrées dans la section de journal des vidanges d’huile.
•Permutez les pneus.Faites la permutation au premier signe d’usure irrégulière, même si cela
se produit avant la mise en fonction du système de rappel de vidange d’huile.
•Inspectez la batterie; nettoyez et resserrez-en les cosses si nécessaire.
•Inspectez les plaquettes de frein, les segments, les disques, les tambours, les flexibles et le frein de
stationnement.
•Inspectez la protection et les flexibles du circuit de refroidissement du moteur.
•Vérifiez le système d’échappement.
