Power Liftgate Operation
If equipped, the switch is on the
driver door. The vehicle must be in
P (Park) to use the power feature.
The taillamps flash when the power
liftgate moves.
Choose a power liftgate mode and
press the center of the switch.
The three modes are:
MAX :The liftgate opens to the full
open height.
3/4 : The liftgate opens to a
reduced height that can be set from
3/4 to fully open. OFF :
The liftgate only operates
manually in this position.

Windows
Press or pull the switch, part of the
way, to open or close the window.
Press the window switch fully and
release to activate the
express-down feature. If equipped,
the express-up feature allows the
window to be raised without holding
the switch. Pull the window switch
up fully and release to activate. Press
Z
{to activate the window
lockout on the rear doors.

Remote Window Operation
If equipped, remote operating
windows will open all the windows
from outside the vehicle by pressing
and holding
Kon the Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter.

Seat Adjustment
To adjust the seat:

.Move the seat forward or
rearward by sliding the control
forward or rearward.
. Raise or lower the front part of
the seat cushion by moving the
front of the control up or down.
. Raise or lower the entire seat by
moving the rear of the control up
or down.

Reclining SeatbacksRaise or recline the seatback by
tilting the control forward or

Lumbar Adjustment
Increase or decrease the lumbar
support by pressing and holding the
front or rear of the control. See

Memory Features
If equipped, the 1, 2, and MEM
buttons on the outboard side of the
driver seat are used to manually
store and recall the positions of the
driver seat, outside mirrors, and
adjustable throttle and brake pedal
positions (if equipped).
Automatic Memory Recall and/or
Easy Exit Recall features may be
enabled in the vehicle
personalization menus.
When Auto Memory Recall is
enabled in the personalization
menu, positions previously stored to
memory buttons 1 and 2 are

recalled when the ignition is
changed from OFF to ON/RUN or
ACC/ACCESSORY.
When Easy Exit Options is enabled
in the personalization menu, the
seats will move rearward when the
ignition is changed to OFF and
driver door is opened within a
short time.

Heated and Ventilated Seat

If available, the buttons are near the
climate controls on the center stack.
To operate, the ignition must be in
ON/RUN/START.
Press
Jorzto heat the driver or
passenger seat. Press
Cor{, if available, to
ventilate the driver or passenger
seat. A ventilated seat has a fan
that pulls or pushes air through the
seat. The air is not cooled.
Press the button once for the
highest setting. With each press of
the button, the seat will change to
the next lower setting, and then to
the off setting. The indicator lights
next to the buttons indicate three for
the highest setting and one for the
lowest. If the front heated seats are
on high, the level may automatically
be lowered after approximately
30 minutes.

seats can also be programmed to
come on during a remote start. See

Head Restraint
Adjustment
Do not drive until the head restraints
for all occupants are installed and
adjusted properly.

To achieve a comfortable seating
position, change the seatback
recline angle as little as necessary
while keeping the seat and the head
restraint height in the proper
position.

Mirror Adjustment

Manual Folding Mirrors Shown,
Power Folding Similar
To adjust the mirror: 1. Move the selector switch to L (Left) or R (Right) to choose
the driver or passenger mirror. 2. Press the arrows on the control
pad to move each mirror to the
desired position.
3. Return the selector switch to the center position.

Automatic Dimming Mirror
If equipped, the driver outside mirror
and the inside rearview mirror
automatically adjust for the glare of
headlamps behind you. See

Some vehicles are equipped with a
feature that activates a vibration in
the driver seat to help the driver
avoid crashes. See Driver
Assistance Systems 0198.
Lumbar Adjustment
Power Lumbar
If available, press and hold the front
or rear of the control to increase or
decrease lumbar support. Release the control when the seatback
reaches the desired level of lumbar
support.
Thigh Support
Adjustment
If available, adjust the manual leg
extension by pulling up on the lever,
and then pulling or pushing on the
support to lengthen or shorten it.
Release the lever to lock it in place.
Reclining Seatbacks
{Warning
Sitting in a reclined position when
the vehicle is in motion can be
dangerous. Even when buckled
up, the safety belts cannot do
their job.
The shoulder belt will not be
against your body. Instead, it will
be in front of you. In a crash, you
could go into it, receiving neck or
other injuries.
The lap belt could go up over
your abdomen. The belt forces
would be there, not at your pelvic
bones. This could cause serious
internal injuries.
For proper protection when the
vehicle is in motion, have the
seatback upright. Then sit well
back in the seat and wear the
safety belt properly.

3. Push the latch plate into thebuckle until it clicks.
Pull up on the latch plate to
make sure it is secure.
Position the release button on
the buckle so that the safety
belt could be quickly unbuckled
if necessary.
4. If equipped with a shoulder belt height adjuster, move it to the
height that is right for you. See
“Shoulder Belt Height Adjuster”
later in this section for
instructions on use and
important safety information.5. To make the lap part tight, pullup on the shoulder belt.
To unlatch the belt, push the button
on the buckle. The belt should
return to its stowed position.
Always stow the safety belt slowly.
If the safety belt webbing returns
quickly to the stowed position, the
retractor may lock and cannot be
pulled out. If this happens, pull the
safety belt straight out firmly to
unlock the webbing, and then
release it. If the webbing is still
locked in the retractor, see your
dealer. Before a door is closed, be sure the
safety belt is out of the way. If a
door is slammed against a safety
belt, damage can occur to both the
safety belt and the vehicle.
Shoulder Belt Height Adjuster
The vehicle has a shoulder belt
height adjuster for the driver and
front outboard passenger seating
positions.
Adjust the height so that the
shoulder portion of the belt is on the
shoulder and not falling off of it. The
belt should be close to, but not
contacting, the neck. Improper
shoulder belt height adjustment
could reduce the effectiveness of
the safety belt in a crash. See
