matched to the tire/wheel positions,
using a TPMS relearn tool, in the
following order: driver side front tire,
passenger side front tire, passenger
side rear tire, and driver side rear.
See your dealer for service or to
purchase a relearn tool.
There are two minutes to match the
first tire/wheel position, and
five minutes overall to match all four
tire/wheel positions. If it takes
longer, the matching process stops
and must be restarted.
The TPMS sensor matching
process is:1. Set the parking brake.
2. Place the vehicle power mode in ON/RUN/START. See
Ignition Positions 0173.
3. Make sure the Tire Pressure info display option is turned on.
The info displays on the DIC
can be turned on and off
through the Settings menu.

(DIC) 0123. 4. Use the five-way DIC control
on the right side of the steering
wheel to scroll to the Tire
Pressure screen under the DIC
info page. See Driver
Information Center (DIC) 0123.
5. Press and hold the SEL button located in the center of the
five-way DIC control.
The horn sounds twice to
signal the receiver is in relearn
mode and the TIRE
LEARNING ACTIVE message
displays on the DIC screen.
6. Start with the driver side front tire.
7. Place the relearn tool against the tire sidewall, near the valve
stem. Then press the button to
activate the TPMS sensor.
A horn chirp confirms that the
sensor identification code has
been matched to this tire and
wheel position.
8. Proceed to the passenger side front tire, and repeat the
procedure in Step 7. 9. Proceed to the passenger side
rear tire, and repeat the
procedure in Step 7.
10. Proceed to the driver side rear tire, and repeat the procedure
in Step 7. The horn sounds two
times to indicate the sensor
identification code has been
matched to the driver side rear
tire, and the TPMS sensor
matching process is no longer
active. The TIRE LEARNING
ACTIVE message on the DIC
display screen goes off.
11. Press STOP to turn the ignition off.
12. Set all four tires to the recommended air pressure
level as indicated on the Tire
and Loading Information label.
Tire Inspection
We recommend that the tires,
including the spare tire, if the
vehicle has one, be inspected
for signs of wear or damage at
least once a month.

going to be used? See your

equipment recommendations.
. Is the vehicle ready to be
towed? Just as preparing the
vehicle for a long trip, make sure
the vehicle is prepared to be
towed.
Dinghy Towing
The vehicle may be dinghy towed
from the front. The vehicle can also
be towed on a platform trailer with
all four wheels off of the ground.
For vehicles being dinghy towed,
the vehicle should be run at the
beginning of each day and at each
RV fuel stop for about five minutes.
This will ensure proper lubrication of
transmission components.To tow the vehicle from the front
with all four wheels on the ground:
1. Position the vehicle that will be towed and secure it to the
towing vehicle.
2. Open the driver door.
3. With the vehicle off, press the brake pedal and press the
START/STOP button to start
the engine (the green indicator
light on the button will
illuminate).
4. Put the vehicle in N (Neutral).
5. Press the ENGINE START/ STOP button again. The
engine will stop, the DIC will display SHIFT TO PARK, and
the amber indicator light on the
switch illuminates. See

6. Remove the following fuses: ESCL, BCM 1, BCM 2 and
BCM 3. The START/STOP
button indicator lights will be
off. See Instrument Panel Fuse
Block 0253.
7. Close the driver door.Caution
If the vehicle is towed without
performing each of the steps
listed under “Dinghy Towing,” the
automatic transmission could be
damaged. Be sure to follow all
steps of the dinghy towing
procedure prior to and after
towing the vehicle.

lubrication may be required
when the vehicle is exposed to a corrosive environment. Applying
silicone grease on weatherstrips
with a clean cloth makes them
last longer, seal better, and not
stick or squeak.
