Steering Wheel Controls
The infotainment system can be
operated by using the steering
wheel controls. See "Steering
Wheel Controls" in the infotainment
manual.
Cruise Control
J:Press to turn the system on
and off. A white cruise control
indicator appears in the instrument
cluster when cruise is turned on.
+RES : If there is a set speed in
memory, press the control up briefly
to resume to that speed or hold to
accelerate. If cruise control is
already active, use to increase
vehicle speed. To increase speed by
1 km/h or 1 mph, press +RES up to

vehicle. This can help avoid or
lessen the severity of crashes when
driving in a forward gear.

Lane Departure
Warning (LDW)
LDW may help avoid unintentional
lane departures at speeds of
56 km/h (35 mph) or greater. LDW
uses a camera sensor to detect the
lane markings. The LDW light,
@, is
green if a lane marking is detected.
If the vehicle departs the lane, the
light will change to amber and flash.
In addition, the driver seat will pulse
or beeps will sound.

Lane Change Alert (LCA)
If equipped, the LCA system is a
lane-changing aid that assists
drivers with avoiding lane change
crashes that occur with moving
vehicles in the side blind zone (or
spot) areas or with vehicles rapidly approaching these areas from
behind. The LCA warning display
will light up in the corresponding
outside side mirror and will flash if
the turn signal is on. The Side Blind
Zone Alert (SBZA) system is
included as part of the LCA system.

Rear Vision
Camera (RVC)
RVC displays a view of the area
behind the vehicle on the center
stack display when the vehicle is
shifted into R (Reverse).

Rear Cross Traffic Alert
(RCTA) System
If equipped, the RCTA system uses
a triangle with an arrow displayed
on the RVC screen to warn of traffic
behind your vehicle that may cross your vehicle's path while in
R (Reverse). In addition, beeps will
sound, or the driver seat will pulse.

Parking Assist
Front and Rear Parking Assist
(FRPA) uses sensors on the front
and rear bumper to assist with
parking and avoiding objects.
It operates at speeds less than
8 km/h (5 mph). FRPA may display a
warning triangle on the Rear Vision
Camera screen and a graphic on
the instrument cluster to provide the
distance to an object behind the
vehicle. In addition, multiple beeps
or seat pulses may occur if very
close to an object.

Power Outlets
The accessory power outlets can be
used to plug in electrical equipment,
such as a cell phone or MP3 player.

Date
To set the date:1. Touch the SETTINGS screen button, then touch Time
and Date.
2. Touch Set Date, then touch + or−to increase or decrease
month, day, or year.
3. Touch

previous menu.
Auto Set
When on, the time and date will
automatically update.
To set auto set: 1. Touch the SETTINGS screen button, then touch Time
and Date.
2. Touch Set Time or Set Date.
3. Touch Auto Set, then select On-Cell Network or Off-Manual
to manually set the time
and date.
4. Touch
[Back to go back to the
previous menu. If auto set is on, the time displayed
on the clock may not update
immediately when driving into a new
time zone.
Clock Display
When on, the digital clock will
display on the infotainment screen.
To set the clock display:
1. Touch the SETTINGS screen button, then touch Time
and Date.
2. Touch Clock Display, then select Off or On.
3. Touch

Power Outlets
The accessory power outlets can be
used to plug in electrical equipment,
such as a cell phone or MP3 player.
The vehicle has two accessory
power outlets:
. Inside the front center console.
. Inside the center console bin
behind the shift lever. Lift the cover to access the
accessory power outlet.
Certain accessory power plugs may
not be compatible with the
accessory power outlet and could
overload vehicle or adapter fuses.
If a problem is experienced, see
your dealer.
When adding electrical equipment,
be sure to follow the proper
installation instructions included with
the equipment. See
Add-On
Electrical Equipment 0234.
Caution
Hanging heavy equipment from
the power outlet can cause
damage not covered by the
vehicle warranty. The power
outlets are designed for
accessory power plugs only, such
as cell phone charge cords.
Always unplug electrical equipment
when not in use and do not plug in
equipment that exceeds the
maximum 15 amps.
