Driver Shift Control (DSC) or Tap
Shift
Vehicles equipped with DSC allow
shifting an automatic transmission
similar to a manual transmission.
DSC can be enabled through the
shift lever, or the tap shift controls
on the back of the steering wheel (if
equipped). See Manual Mode0200.

{Warning
Do not store heavy or sharp
objects in storage compartments.
In a crash, these objects may
cause the cover to open and
could result in injury.
Instrument Panel Storage
To access, press on the cover and
release. There is an accessory
power outlet inside. SeePower
Outlets 0107.
If equipped, there may be storage
behind the climate control system.
Touch the bottom of the climate
control system panel until the door
automatically starts to open. There
is a USB port inside. See the
infotainment manual.
Keep the storage bin closed while
driving.
Touch the bottom of the climate
control system panel again until the
door automatically starts to close.

Storage 101
Glove Box
To open the glove box, lift up on the
lever. Use the key to lock and
unlock it. The glove box may have a
compact disc player inside.
Cupholders
There are two cupholders in the
front center console.
Rear Cupholders
Pull the armrest down to access the
rear cupholders.
Armrest Storage
Front Armrest
Press the button and lift to access
the storage area. There is a USB
port(s), SD card reader (if
equipped), and an auxiliary jack
inside. See the infotainment manual.
Rear Armrest
Pull the armrest down and lift the
cover to access the storage area.

Steering Wheel Controls
The infotainment system can be
operated by using the steering
wheel controls. See "Steering
Wheel Controls" in the infotainment
manual.
Heated Steering Wheel
((Heated Steering Wheel) :
If equipped, press to turn the heated
steering wheel on or off. A light next
to the button displays when the
feature is turned on.
The steering wheel takes about
three minutes to be fully heated.
Horn
Pressaon the steering wheel pad
to sound the horn.
Windshield Wiper/Washer
With the ignition in ACC/
ACCESSORY or ON/RUN/START,
move the windshield wiper lever to
select the wiper speed.
HI : Use for fast wipes.
LO : Use for slow wipes.
INT (Intermittent Wipes/
Rainsense™ Wipes) :Use this
setting for intermittent wipes or
Rainsense, when enabled. For
intermittent wipes, move the lever
up to INT, then turn the
xINT
band up for more frequent wipes or
down for less frequent wipes.
If Rainsense is enabled, see
“Rainsense” later in this section.
If the windshield wipers are in use
while driving, the exterior lamps
come on automatically if the exterior
lamp control is in AUTO. The
transition time for the lamps coming
on varies based on wiper speed.
See “Lights On with Wipers” under
Automatic Headlamp System 0153.
OFF : Use to turn the wipers off.
1X (Mist) : For a single wipe, briefly
move the wiper lever down. For
several wipes, hold the wiper
lever down.
Clear snow and ice from the wiper
blades and windshield before using
them. If frozen to the windshield,
carefully loosen or thaw them.

{Warning
In freezing weather, do not use
the washer until the windshield is
warmed. Otherwise the washer
fluid can form ice on the
windshield, blocking your vision.
Clock
The infotainment system controls
are used to access the time and
date settings through the menu
system. See“Overview”in the
infotainment manual for information
about how to use the menu system.
Setting the Time
To set the time:
1. Press the SETTINGS screen button and press Time
and Date.
2. Press Set Time and press + or −to increase or decrease
hours, minutes, and AM or PM.
Press 12Hr or 24Hr for 12 or
24 hour clock. 3. Press
}to go back to the
previous menu.
If auto timing is set, the time
displayed on the clock may not
update immediately when driving
into a new time zone.
To set the date: 1. Press the SETTINGS screen button and press Time
and Date.
2. Press Set Date and press + or −to increase or decrease
month, day, or year.
3. Press
}to go back to the
previous menu.
To set the clock display: 1. Press the SETTINGS screen button and press Time
and Date.
2. Press Clock Display and press OFF or ON to turn the clock
display off or on.

previous menu.
Power Outlets
Power Outlet 12 Volt Direct
Current
The accessory power outlets can be
used to plug in electrical equipment,
such as a cell phone or MP3 player.
The vehicle has two accessory
power outlets:
. Inside the front storage bin
below the climate control
system.
. On the rear of the center floor
console.
Lift the cover to access the
accessory power outlet.
Certain electrical accessories may
not be compatible with the
accessory power outlet and could
overload a vehicle circuit breaker or
adapter fuse. If overloaded, the
circuit breaker will reset after all
devices are disconnected or if
Retained Accessory Power (RAP) is
turned off and then back on. See
