To adjust back bolster support,
if equipped:

Feature Select (1) to scroll to
back bolster support on the

Memory Features
The 1, 2, SET, andB(Exit) buttons
on the driver door are used to
manually save and recall memory
settings for the driver seat and
outside mirrors.

personalization menus to
automatically recall positions stored

Transmission
Driver Shift Control (DSC) or Tap
Shift
Vehicles equipped with DSC allow
shifting an automatic transmission
similar to a manual transmission.
DSC can be enabled through the
shift lever, or the tap shift controls
on the back of the steering wheel (if
equipped). See Manual Mode0200.
Vehicle Features
Infotainment System
See the infotainment manual for
information on the radio, audio
players, phone, navigation system,
and voice or speech recognition.
It also includes information on
settings.
Steering Wheel Controls
The infotainment system can be
operated by using the steering
wheel controls. See "Steering
Wheel Controls" in the infotainment
manual.

Remote Vehicle Start
This feature allows the engine to be
started from outside the vehicle.
/(Remote Vehicle Start) :This
button will be on the RKE
transmitter if the vehicle has remote
start.
The climate control system will use
the previous settings during a
remote start. The rear window
defogger may come on during
remote start based on cold ambient
conditions. The rear defog indicator
light does not come on during
remote start.
Heated seats may come on during a
remote start. See Heated Front
Seats 059.
Laws in some local communities
may restrict the use of remote
starters. For example, some laws
may require a person using remote
start to have the vehicle in view.
Check local regulations for any
requirements.
If your vehicle is low on fuel, do not
use the remote start feature. The
vehicle may run out of fuel. The RKE transmitter range may be
less while the vehicle is running.
Other conditions can affect the
performance of the transmitter. See
Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
System

Starting the Engine Using Remote
Start
1. Press and release
Qon the
RKE transmitter.
2. Immediately press and hold
/
for at least four seconds or until
the turn signal lamps flash.
This confirms the request to
remote start the vehicle has
been received. If the vehicle's
lamps are not visible, press
and hold
/for at least
four seconds.
During the remote start, the
doors will be locked and the
parking lamps will remain on as
long as the engine is running. The engine will shut off after
10 minutes unless a time
extension is done or the
ignition is put in ON/RUN/
START.
3. Press the brake pedal and select the ON/RUN/START
ignition mode to drive the
vehicle.
Extending Engine Run Time
The engine run time can also be
extended by another 10 minutes,
if during the first 10 minutes
Steps 1 and 2 are repeated while
the engine is still running. An
extension can be requested,
30 seconds after starting. This
provides a total of 20 minutes.
The remote start can only be
extended once.
A maximum of two remote starts,
or a remote start with an extension,
are allowed between ignition cycles.
The vehicle's ignition must be
changed to ON/RUN/START and
then back to OFF before the remote
start procedure can be used again.

{Warning
In freezing weather, do not use
the washer until the windshield is
warmed. Otherwise the washer
fluid can form ice on the
windshield, blocking your vision.
Clock
The infotainment system controls
are used to access the time and
date settings through the menu
system. See“Overview”in the
infotainment manual for information
about how to use the menu system.
Setting the Time
To set the time:
1. Press the SETTINGS screen button and press Time
and Date.
2. Press Set Time and press + or −to increase or decrease
hours, minutes, and AM or PM.
Press 12Hr or 24Hr for 12 or
24 hour clock. 3. Press
}to go back to the
previous menu.
If auto timing is set, the time
displayed on the clock may not
update immediately when driving
into a new time zone.
To set the date: 1. Press the SETTINGS screen button and press Time
and Date.
2. Press Set Date and press + or −to increase or decrease
month, day, or year.
3. Press
}to go back to the
previous menu.
To set the clock display: 1. Press the SETTINGS screen button and press Time
and Date.
2. Press Clock Display and press OFF or ON to turn the clock
display off or on.
3. Press
}to go back to the
previous menu.
Power Outlets
Power Outlet 12 Volt Direct
Current
The accessory power outlets can be
used to plug in electrical equipment,
such as a cell phone or MP3 player.
The vehicle has two accessory
power outlets:
. Inside the front storage bin
below the climate control
system.
. On the rear of the center floor
console.
Lift the cover to access the
accessory power outlet.
Certain electrical accessories may
not be compatible with the
accessory power outlet and could
overload a vehicle circuit breaker or
adapter fuse. If overloaded, the
circuit breaker will reset after all
devices are disconnected or if
Retained Accessory Power (RAP) is
turned off and then back on. See
Retained Accessory Power (RAP)
0 195. Wait one minute to allow the
circuit breaker to reset before

Manage Favorites
This allows favorites to be edited.
Select a displayed Favorite to select
that favorite to edit. Select Rename
to rename the favorite or Delete to
delete it. Number of Favorites Pages
Select to set the number of favorites
to display.
Select the desired number or select
Auto and the infotainment system
will automatically adjust the number
of favorites shown.
Audible Touch Feedback
This allows Audible Touch
Feedback to be turned on or off.
Select Off or On.
Auto Volume
If equipped, this feature adjusts the
volume based on the vehicle speed.
Bose
®AudioPilot®
This feature adjusts the volume
based on the noise in the vehicle
and speed. See
“Bose AudioPilot
Noise Compensation Technology”
under “Infotainment System
Settings” in the infotainment
manual. Maximum Startup Volume
This feature sets the maximum
startup volume. If the vehicle is
started and the volume is greater
than this level, the volume is
adjusted to this level. To set the
maximum startup volume, select +
or
−to increase or decrease.
Audio Cue Volume
If equipped, this feature adjusts the
startup and shutdown sounds. To
adjust the volume, select + or −to
increase or decrease.

Climate Control Function With
Stop/Start (If Equipped)
The climate control system depends
on other vehicle systems for heat
and power input. The climate control
system will balance stop/start
efficiency with air conditioning
comfort and defog operation.
Certain climate control settings can
result in fewer auto stops.
The following are climate control
settings that result in fewer auto
stops:
.The defrost mode.
. High fan speed settings.
. Extreme temperature settings.
Automatic Operation
The system automatically controls
the fan speed, air delivery, air
conditioning, and recirculation in
order to heat or cool the vehicle to
the desired temperature.
When the indicator light is on or
AUTO is displayed on the screen,
the system is in full automatic
operation. If the air delivery mode or
fan setting is manually adjusted, the auto indicator turns off and the
display will show the selected
settings.
For automatic operation:
1. Press AUTO.
2. Set the temperature. Allow the system time to stabilize. Then
adjust the temperature as
needed for best comfort.
To improve fuel efficiency and to
cool the vehicle faster, recirculation
may be automatically selected in
warm weather. The recirculation
light will not come on. Press
@to
select recirculation; press it again to
select outside air.
English units can be changed to
metric units through the instrument
cluster. See “Settings”under
Instrument Cluster 0111.
OFF (Fan) : Press to turn the fan on
or off. The temperature control and
air delivery mode can still be
adjusted.
worx(Driver and Passenger
Temperature Controls) : The
temperature can be adjusted separately for the driver and the
passenger. Press to increase or
decrease the temperature. Press
and hold to rapidly increase or
decrease the temperature.
SYNC (Synchronized
Temperature) :
Press SYNC to link
all climate zone settings to the
driver settings. The SYNC indicator
will be lit. Adjust the driver side
temperature control to change the
linked temperature. When the
passenger settings are adjusted, the
temperatures are unlinked and the
SYNC indicator turns off.
Manual Operation
z 9or9y(Fan Control) :
Press the fan control buttons to
increase or decrease the fan speed.
Press and hold the buttons to adjust
speed more quickly. The fan speed
setting displays. Pressing either
button cancels automatic fan control
and the fan can be controlled
manually. Press AUTO to return to
automatic operation. To turn off the
fan, press OFF.

Rear Window Defogger
=REAR (Rear Window
Defogger) : Press to turn the rear
window defogger on or off. An
indicator light on the button comes
on to show that the rear window
defogger is on.
The upper gridlines on the rear
window are antenna lines and are
not intended to heat when the
defogger is activated.
The heated outside mirrors turn on
when the rear window defogger
button is on. They help to clear fog
or frost from the surface of the
mirrors.
Caution
Do not try to clear frost or other
material from the inside of the
front windshield and rear window
with a razor blade or anything
else that is sharp. This may
damage the rear window
defogger grid and affect the

radio's ability to pick up stations
clearly. The repairs would not be
covered by the vehicle warranty.
MorL(Driver and Passenger
Heated Seats, If Equipped) : Press
MorLto heat the driver or
passenger seat. See Heated Front
Seats 059.
The vehicle also has auto heated
seats that turn on when the vehicle
is on. The seats will activate at the
level required by the vehicle’s
interior temperature. To turn off,
press
Jorz. The auto heated
seats can be turned on or off. See
Vehicle Personalization 0142 and
Heated Front Seats 059.
Remote Start Climate Control
Operation : If equipped with the
remote vehicle start feature, the
climate control system may run
when the vehicle is started remotely.
The system uses the driver's previous settings to heat or cool the
inside of the vehicle. See
Remote
Vehicle Start 034.
The rear window defogger turns on
if it is cold outside.
Sensors
The solar sensor monitors the
solar heat.

temperatures, and SYNC settings
can be controlled by pressing
CLIMATE on the infotainment home
screen or the climate button in the
touch screen application tray.
A selection can then be made on
the front climate control page
displayed. See the infotainment
manual.
Climate Control Status Screen
The climate control status screen
appears briefly when the climate
control buttons on the faceplate are adjusted. The air delivery mode can
be adjusted on the climate control
status screen.
