Seat Adjustment
Manual Seats
To adjust a manual seat:1. Pull the handle at the front of the seat.
2. Slide the seat to the desired position and release the
handle.
3. Try to move the seat back and forth to be sure it is locked in
place. Seat Height Adjuster
Press and hold the top or bottom of
the switch to raise or lower the seat.
Release the switch when the
desired height is reached.

Power Seats
To adjust the seat:

Move the seat forward or
rearward by moving the control
forward or rearward.
. Raise or lower the front part of
the seat cushion by moving the
front of the control up or down.
. Raise or lower the entire seat by
moving the rear of the control up
or down.

Memory Features
If equipped, the 1, 2, and SET
buttons on the driver door are used
to manually store and recall the
driver seat, and outside mirror
positions.
Automatic Memory Recall and/or
Easy Exit Recall features may be
enabled in the personalization
menus to automatically recall
positions stored to the 1, 2, and
B
buttons. These features allow the
seat, and outside mirrors positions
to automatically recall upon turning
the ignition on or off upon exiting thevehicle. The positions recalled are
those previously stored to the 1 or 2
buttons.

If available, the buttons are part of
the climate control system on the
center stack. To operate, the ignition
and the climate control system must be on. If the climate control system
is off, press the
Obutton to turn
it on.
Press
MorLto heat the driver or
passenger seat cushion and
seatback.
Press
Cor{, if equipped, to
ventilate the driver or passenger
seat. A ventilated seat has a fan
that pulls or pushes air through the
seat. The air is not cooled.
Press the button once for the
highest setting. With each press of
the button, the seat will change to
the next lower setting, and then to
the off setting. The lights near the
heated or ventilated seat symbol on
the display indicate three for the
highest setting and one for the
lowest.

Mirror Adjustment
Exterior
To adjust the mirrors:1. Turn the control knob to select the L (Left) or R (Right) mirror.
2. Push the control knob left, right, up, or down to adjust the
mirror.
Vehicles with the memory feature
can store a preferred mirror position.

Mirrors 043. Manual Folding Mirrors
The outside mirrors can be folded
inward to prevent damage when
going through an automatic car
wash. To fold, pull the mirror toward
the vehicle. Push the mirror outward
to return it to the original position.

Automatic Dimming Feature
If equipped, the driver outside mirror
automatically dims to reduce the
glare of headlamps from behind.

Adjust the rearview mirror for a clear
view of the area behind your
vehicle.
Manual Rearview Mirror
If equipped, push the tab forward for
daytime use and pull it for nighttime
use to avoid glare from headlamps.

Mirror
If equipped, automatic dimming
reduces the glare of the headlamps
from behind. This feature comes on
when the vehicle is started. See

INT :Move the lever up to INT for
intermittent wipes, then turn
the
xINT band up for more
frequent wipes or down for less
frequent wipes.
OFF : Use to turn the wipers off.
1X : For a single wipe, briefly move
the lever down. For several wipes,
hold the lever down.
n L: Pull the lever toward you to
spray windshield washer fluid and
activate the wipers.

The climate control system will use
the previous setting during a remote
start. The rear defog may come on
during remote start based on cold
ambient conditions. The rear defog
indicator light does not come on
during remote start. See“Remote
Start Climate Control Operation” in
Dual Automatic Climate Control
System 0157. Vehicles with heated
or heated and ventilated front seats
can have this feature turn on
automatically during a remote start.

Personalization 0139.
Extending Engine Run Time
The engine run time can also be
extended by another 10 minutes,
if during the first 10 minutes
Steps 1–2 are repeated while the
engine is still running. An extension
can be requested, 30 seconds after
starting. This provides a total of
20 minutes.
The remote start can only be
extended once. When the remote start is extended,
the second 10-minute period is
added on to the first 10 minutes for
a total of 20 minutes.
A maximum of two remote starts,
or a remote start with an extension,
are allowed between ignition cycles.
The vehicle's ignition must be
changed to ON/RUN/START and
then back to OFF before the remote
start procedure can be used again.
Canceling a Remote Start
To cancel a remote start, do any of
the following:
.
Press and hold
/until the
parking lamps turn off.
. Turn on the hazard warning
flashers.
. Turn the vehicle on and then off.
Conditions in Which Remote Start
Will Not Work
The remote start will not operate if:
. The key is in the ignition (Key
Access) or the ignition is in any
position other than OFF (Keyless
Access). .
The transmitter is in the vehicle
(Keyless Access).
. The hood is not closed.
. The hazard warning flashers
are on.
. There is an emission control
system malfunction.
. The engine coolant temperature
is too high.
. The oil pressure is low.
. Two remote vehicle starts have
already been used.
. The vehicle is not in P (Park).Door Locks

Unlocked doors can be
dangerous.
. Passengers, especially
children, can easily open
the doors and fall out of a
moving vehicle. The chance
of being thrown out of the
