Requiremen t: The buttons in the roof headliner
must be programmed

" Press the button to open the garage door . The
LED @blinks or turns on .
" Press the button again to close the garage
door .
@ Tips
To open or close the garage door, press the
button, but do not hold it for longer than
10 seconds or the garage door opener module
will switch to programming mode.

You can program both fixed code and rolling code
systems using this procedure.
Programming or reprogramming buttons
"Switch the ignition on .
"Press and hold the button in the roof headliner

Opening and closing
Erasing button programming
The programmed buttons cannot be erased indi
vidually. They must all be erased together. Re
program the buttons if necessary.

Displaying the version/status/country code

- Programming through the MMI* is not pos
sible with all infotainment systems. If this
is the case, program the buttons as descri

- The required distance between the hand
transmitter and the Homelink module in
the radiator grille

ming.
- Depending on the model of the system, you
may need to release the button on the re
mote control during programming and
press it again. Hold each position you try for
at least
15 seconds before trying another
position . Keep the turn signals on your vehi
cle in view when doing this .
- After programming the garage door opener,
it may be necessary to synchronize the mo
tor with the system. Refer to the manufac
turer's instructions.

after switching the ignition on or whi le driving
and the
all indicator light in the instrument clus
ter blinks for approximate ly one minute and then
stays on, there is system malfunction. Try to
store the correct tire pressures¢

the ind icator light does not turn off or turns on
again after a short period of time, drive to an au
thor ized Audi dealer or authorized Audi Se rvice
F ac ility immediately to have the malfunction cor
rected .

- If the tire pressure indicator appears in the
display, reduce your speed immed iate ly and
avoid any hard steering or braking maneu
vers. Stop as soon as possib le and check the
t ires and their pressure.
- The driver is responsib le for maintaining the
correct tire pressure. You must check the
t ire pressure regu larly.
- Under certa in conditions (such as a sporty
driv ing style, winter cond itions or unpaved
roads), the tire p ressure monitoring system
indicator may be delayed.
(D Tips
- The t ire pressure monitoring system can al
so stop work ing when there is an ESC mal
funct ion.
- Using snow chains may result in a system
malfunction.
- The Tire Pressure Mon itoring System in your
Audi was calibrated with "Audi Orig inal
Equ ipment tires"¢
