Indicator●Comes on when the high beam

●Comes on whenever the light switch
is on, or in AUTO when the exterior
lights are on.●If you set the power mode to ACCESSORY
or VEHICLE OFF (LOCK) while the exterior
lights are on, a chime sounds when the
driver’s door is opened.

Indicator●Comes on when the fog lights are

Immobilizer
System Indicator
●Comes on briefly when you set the
power mode to ON, then goes off.
●Comes on if the immobilizer system
cannot recognize the key
information.
●Blinks - You cannot start the power system.
Set the power mode to VEHICLE OFF
(LOCK), then select the ON mode again.
●Repeatedly blinks - The system may be
malfunctioning. Have your vehicle checked
by a dealer.
●Do not attempt to alter this system or add
other devices to it. Electrical problems can
occur.

●Appears if any door or the trunk is opened while driving.
The beeper sounds.
●Goes off when all doors and the trunk are closed.
●Appears if there is a problem with the acoustic vehicle
alerting system.●Have your vehicle checked by a dealer immediately.
●Appears if there is a problem with the radiator system.●Drive slowly to prevent overheating and have your
vehicle checked by a dealer as soon as possible.
●Appears when there is a problem with the headlights.●Appears while driving - The low beam headlights
may not be on. When conditions allow you to drive
safely, have your vehicle chec ked by a dealer as soon as
possible.
●Appears if there is a problem with the parking sensor
system.●Check if the area around the sensor(s) is covered with
mud, ice, snow, etc. If the indicator(s) stays on even

Press the release button to open the glove
box.
■Removable shelf
The shelf in the glove box is detachable. To
remove it, disengage the tabs.
The removable shelf can be stored upside
down in the glove box.

An open glove box can cause serious injury
to your passenger in a crash, even if the
passenger is wearing the seat belt.
Always keep the glove box closed while
driving.

The power mode must be in ON to use the
seat heaters. The HI setting heats the seats
faster than the LO setting.
Press the seat heater button:
Once - The HI setting (three indicators on)
Twice - The MID setting (two indicators on)
Three times - The LO setting
Four times - The OFF setting (no indicators on)
When a comfortable temperature is reached
while using the seat heaters in HI, select MID
or LO to keep the seat warm.

Do not use the seat heaters even in LO when the
power system is off. U nder such conditions, the 12-
volt battery may be weakened, making the power
system difficult to start.
3WARNING
Heat induced burns are possible when
using seat heaters.
Persons with a diminished ability to sense
temperature (e.g., persons with diabetes,
lower-limb nerve damage, or paralysis) or
with sensitive skin should not use seat
heaters.

position.
Press the seat heater button:

To open the sunglasses holder, push and
release the indent. To close, push it again until
it latches.
You can store eyeglasses and other small
items in this holder.
