How does the remote key work?
What do the lights in the remote key (PCC* 
only) indicate?01

  green light: the vehicle is locke\f.
 Yellow light: the vehicle is unlocke\f.
 Re\f light: the alarm has been triggere\f.
 Alternatively flashing re\f lights: the alarm was trig-
gere\f less than 5 minutes ago.

tailgate opening control.
Unlocking and disarming the alarm  
– Pull a \foor han\fle to unlock an\f open the \foor or

How do I switch off the engine?
 Park the vehicle an\f briefly press the  START/STOP 
ENGINE  button to switch off the engine.
 Pull the remote key out of the ignition slot.

Setting
 Press firmly on the brake pe\fal.
 Press the  PUSH LOCK/PULL RELEASE control:

How do I start the engine?

What settings can be made in the menu 
system?
Many of the vehicle’s functions can be controlle\f in MY 
CAR, such as setting the clock, storing the \foor mirrors’ 
position, locks, etc.

How do I set the clock?
  go to  Settings  > System options  > Time  in MY 
CAR.
  Press  OK/MENU to activate the hour box.  turn

How does keyless drive* work?
wearing thick gloves may affect the unlocking function.  keyless \frive can be affecte\f by electromagnetic fiel\fs an\f metal obstructions. 
never carry the remote key close to a cell phone or metallic objects.
How do I start the engine? After a col\f start, i\fle spee\f may be noticeably higher than normal for a short perio\f, regar\fless of the ambient temperature.  this is \fone 
to help bring components in the emission control system to their normal operating temperature as quickly as possible.
How does the laminated panoramic roof* work? during manual closing, if the laminate\f panoramic roof is obstructe\f, imme\fiately open it again.  never open or close the laminate\f 
panoramic roof if it is obstructe\f in any way.  never allow a chil\f to operate the laminate\f panoramic roof.  when leaving the vehicle, ensure 
that the ignition is in mo\fe

How does Pedestrian Detection* work? the system cannot \fetect all pe\festrians in all situations, such as in \farkness\bat night an\f cannot \fetect partially hi\f\fen pe\festrians, 
people who are less than approx. 32 in. (80 cm) tall, or people wearing clothing that obscures the contours of their bo\fies.
How do I adjust the seat? do not a\fjust the seat while \friving.  the seat shoul\f be a\fjuste\f so that the brake pe\fal can be \fepresse\f fully.  in a\f\fition, position the 
seat as far rearwar\f as comfort an\f control allow.
How do I adjust the steering wheel? After a\fjusting the seat, always a\fjust the steering wheel prior to \friving. 
What does the trip computer’s “Distance to empty” indicate? the accuracy of the figure shown may vary if your \friving style changes. An economical \friving style will generally increase this \fistance.   
How should I care for leather upholstery? clothing that is not colorfast, such as new jeans or sue\fe garments, may stain the upholstery.  gasoline, naphtha or similar cleaning agents 
shoul\f never be use\f on the leather since these can cause \famage. 
Where are the AUX/USB/12-volt sockets? the maximum current consumption is 10A (120w) if only one of the 12-volt sockets in the passenger compartment is in use.  if both the 
front an\f rear sockets are use\f at the same time, the maximum current consumption per socket is 7.5A (90w).
