Lane change to the right (push
and hold the lever partway)
The right hand signals will flash
until you release the lever.

and hold the lever partway)
The left hand signals will flash until
you release the lever.
Left turn
■ Turn signals can be operated when
Vehicles without a smart entry & start system
The engine switch is in the “ON” position.
Vehicles with a smart entry & start system
The engine switch is in IGNITION ON mode.
■ If the indicator flashes faster than usual
Check that a light bulb in the front or rear turn signal lights has not burned
out.

Light bulbs
Check the wattage of the light bulb to be replaced. (P. 512)
■Front
You may replace the following bulbs by yourself. The difficulty
level of replacement varies depending on the bulb. As there is a
danger that components may be damaged, we recommend that
replacement is carried out by any authorized Toyota dealer or
repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.
For more information about replacing other light bulbs, contact
any authorized Toyota dealer or repairer, or another duly quali-
fied and equipped professional.

■Side turn signal lights
Depress the mirror.
Remove the mirror.
To prevent damaging the vehi-
cle, wrap the screwdriver with a
tape.
Remove the bulb base.
Remove the light bulb.

After installing the new bulb,
secure the bulb base to the
mirror body.
Align the tabs, and secure
the mirror by pushing in each
diagonally-opposite pair of
tabs in order.
Make sure to insert the tabs in
order as shown in the illustra-
tion, and push them in until a
click is heard.
If you do not hear the click, do
not force the tabs in. Instead,
remove the mirror and check
that the tabs are aligned.
■Stop/tail lights (bulb type), and rear turn signal lights
Open the back door and
remove the cover.
To prevent damaging the vehi-
cle, wrap the screwdriver with a
tape.
Turn the bulb base counter-
clockwise.

base.

Install the cover.
Align the cover claws with
the notches.
Press the cover until it is
fixed.
